Yun Xixi looked unblinkingly at that stunningly gorgeous woman in front of her. To her, even that sparkling diamond on her boss’ hand paled a million tis in comparison to that devastatingly beautiful smile gracing October’s peerless face. She knew that her boss was beautiful but this...this was just too much for her little heart to bear.
A loud pounding of her heart was heard within Yun Xixi. She clutched her chest and her delicate face was imdiately painted with a red hue.
Director ah! You are really being unfair! For you to suddenly flash that very blinding smile, even if it was not for , but still it is very unfair!
Yun Xixi looked on without blinking. If this goes on, she might really turn to walk the wrong way ah! Hold on, Yun Xixi! Be strong! Keep yourself from going astray!
"Director?" Yun Xixi almost forgot how speak and the instant that she called, the smile on October’s lips vanished and her pretty eyes looked toward her. Yun Xixi was a bit disappointed but thought that she really could not let herself see it longer than she should.
October thoughtfully looked at the slightly blushing face of Yun Xixi in silence. Then, after a mont of thinking, she finally opened her pink lips.
"Does it suit ?" October casually asked, her tone was even without any ups or downs in it. She reverted back to her usual self as if the warm her from before did not even happen in the first place.
However, when Yun Xixi heard this sudden question, she was still not able to gather her thoughts and so she looked at her boss with wide eyes. She blinked her eyes profusely and looked blankly at October. "Ah?"
"Do you think the ring on my finger suit ?" October asked Yun Xixi while looking at her ring and touched it gently. Even though it was a little, her tone had warmth in it.
"Oh...Yes! Absolutely! Definitely! The ring perfectly suits , Director! It’s like it was made just for you." Yun Xixi exclaid as her eyes glowed brightly while she goshed over the ring. She would bet everything she had that any jewelry that her boss will wear will certainly suit her. That was how stunningly gorgeous every bit of her boss was.
October looked at her ring and beca unfocused for a second before she nodded. "I’m glad."
She was glad that her man has great taste. Speaking of that man, what will his reaction be if he knew that she will pick up her friend tonight from the airport? She rembered that his actions before was so dumfounding that she was not able to react in ti. This...she hoped that he will not make a fuss about it.
"Yes!" Yun Xixi nodded her head rapidly that it almost felt like her head will fall off her neck. However, this was just how elated she was. This ti, she was so happy she wanted to cry because they were having a small talk like they were so close. It really was a bliss for . Then all of a sudden, her smiling face stiffened and her heart dropped as realization hit her, slapping her so hard on her face.
She forgot to take a picture of that dream-like mont!
Noooooooo! Yun Xixi shouted in her mind. She felt like the heavens crushed on her heavily and she wanted to cry so bad but she does not have any tear to shed. Slowly, her whole self deflated like a balloon. Ah! How can she ss this up so badly!
"Xixi, thank you for your care. I really appreciate it." October said in a very calm voice and leaned comfortably on her chair. However, sothing caught her attention as she looked at her secretary which made her raised an eyebrow. It must be her imagination playing with her because she can almost say for certain that she saw her secretary’s soul flying out of her body. Her lips twitched at this. Was her secretary okay?
"Director, why are you saying this all of a sudden?" Yun Xixi’s voice cracked as she looked at her boss’ unblemished face who seed like to glow under the light of the sun. However, she was not able to relish on it as the words she said were dreadfully awful for her. Her heart skipped a beat and her eyes started to water. These words were like a prelude of sothing she never wanted to happen. "Please director, don’t fire . I promise you I will work harder than before. I will even double my attentiveness and work more efficiently. If I said sothing to you before that have offended you sohow, I sincerely apologize. Please, just please don’t fire ."
Yun Xixi’s eyes instantly turned red rimd. Her tears dropped from her eyes like a waterfall. It did not took for long before her nose beca runny making her so pitiful. She looked like a little child that got lost from her parents in the mall and did not know where to go.
If this happened without Yun Xixi opening her mouth, October would have tried to "comfort" her even without any experience with it. However, October’s face had a frown on it and her lips won’t stop from twitching. Her head was starting to ache again and so tried to give her temples a massage.
How can Xixi jump to that kind of conclusion just from that? Did I phrase it wrongly? October asked herself in shock. This was sothing she did not expect at all. She was just saying in random and yet her secretary misunderstood it so trendously. She was really utterly flabbergasted at this. She also wondered what was on Xixi’s mind. What could have been on that cute head of hers? October wanted to see what was on Xixi’s mind and how it worked. Really though, she was speechless at how "creative" Xixi’s mind.
"Director..." Yun Xixi was still bawling her eyes out as she sniffed loudly when she noticed that her boss was silent. If a passerby saw this, they might really think that October was bullying her subordinate so much to the point of crying. What was more was that October seed to be calm all this ti without flinching at all. One could say that she was being so cold and indifferent.
Was her boss really thinking of firing her? Was she irritated deep down at her crying despite not showing it on her face?
Yun Xixi’s face was a total ss. Her eyes were getting puffy and her cheeks and nose were flushed red. Even if she wiped her tears, it would seem to be useless as tears kept dropping from her eyes nonstop. Then, she noticed that her boss was massaging her temples and Yun Xixi clamped her mouth as she stopped herself from letting out a whimper. However, her eyes were still tearing up like it were trying to let all of the water in her body out.
