Chapter 11
"Sir! Currently, there is no more information about either of the two, but I will update you immediately once we learn something!" The secretary knew that there was no more information, so why even bother??
"Fine, but you must tell me ASAP when you find something!"
"Yes Sir!"
The secretary had already dialed a bunch of news media outlets to instruct them ahead of time about providing them inside information about Talent~fest and ALL of the contestants .
ℳ𝑒𝒶𝓃𝓌𝒽𝒾𝓁𝑒 . . .
"Mei! I think I found the PERFECT song for us to do a duet together!! Here! Look this!" Ali handed Mei the music sheet for her approval .
"Yes, this is good . . . but first of all, who will sing, who will dance, and who will play the piano . . ?"
"Well, I was thinking that I would start of playing the piano and then you would sing and dance elegantly, then after a while I'll join in on the singing to!"
"Why will you join in on singing, isn't my voice already better than yours??" Mei really couldn't think of any reason for Ali to also sing . .
After hearing what Mei said, Ali pouted like a spoiled child being told the words 'no' and activated her puppy dog eyes
"It's not faiirrr . . . your only doing this because I wanna . . . pleaseee let me showcase some of my other talents! I don't wanna have everyone think YOUR the main girl in our group . . besides . . . "
Ali was trying to think of more convincing things to say
"Besides . . . won't it amaze everyone even FURTHER if both of us beauties can sing . . and later on both of us could even dance together . . o-or maybe we could play the piano together!!"
Ali was getting really excited, she was actually also making herself bee more and more convinced with this idea
Ali breathes in a HUGE breath, preparing to speak
"PPPLLLLEEEEEAAAAASSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! with a cherry on top??"
Mei sighed
"Fine . Whatever, I guess I don't have a problem with us singing together, but it will just add on more training and preparing for the both of us in the end . . So are you still sure you wanna do that, even IF it requires MORE training?"
"OF COURSE!! IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION!! THIS IS MY DREAMMM! I won't just let training get in the way of my DREAM! besides . . . you already know that we're both quick learners . . . OH GOSH IM SO EXCITED!!!! HEHEHE THIS IS GONNA BE SOOO FUN!!" And so, weeks of practice followed . . . .
Obviously, if you couldn't tell by now, Ali is the hyperactive one, where Mei is the calm and rational one . .
Authors note: Sorry for the lack of updates . . I was just so busy the past while, from school, Girl Scouts, taekwondo, and also homework . . god I hate homework!
But anyways I'm about to try and write a BUNCH of chapters for today . . it may take me around 20 to 40 minutes to write for each chapter, (not to mention that talent~fest is ing up, and I'm really not creative . . like I have no creativity whatsoever . . . )
Welp bye! I'm going to start to write a bunch of chapters to make up for missed time!
