Chapter 35
"Sir, it appears that they are going to eat . Would you like to prepare a car for you to follow them . . ?" A male voice said
"Yes, but make sure we are inconspicuous . . . . But bring backup . . those two are extrely smart . . " the other male voice said
"Yes, Sir!"

(At the restaurant)
Once they sat down, the atmosphere turned serious
i broke the silence by saying "It’s been way to peaceful lately, and I honestly don’t like it . "
"So you noticed it to . . I feel like sothing big is about to happen . . it makes just feel . . uneasy . . " Ali said
"Not to ntion we will be separated soon . . " as i said that, she looked around and observed everyone around them
"But we’ve also been staying to low on the charts . . we aren’t caught up on all of the criminal activity . . just think about it! It gives our enemies the perfect opportunity to team up and prepare to go against us!" i continued
"I know I said I couldn’t afford to waste a second earlier, but this is more important . . besides, I can handle all of those low class hackers in my sleep!" (i’s talking about her assignnt/trial)
"And I couldn’t go into full detail earlier but my main reason for not snagged to continue doing show business for a work is because I’m afraid that our enemies will figure out our true identities if they haven’t already . I an we’ve been being so careless lately!" i said
"Yeah . . . " Ali agreed
Then, both of them knew what they had to do
"We have to pick up our underworld business and remind them of whose boss . . "
"But doing that . . " Ali said
"Yes . Doing that would make us have to temporarily quit our jobs and careers . . " i finished what Ali was going to say
"Its honestly probably too risky to go back to our jobs tomorrow, and at least for a little while, until we know the threat is gone . I don’t even think that we should stay with Sora, because we would then put him in danger as well . . " i said
"Yes . But how will we inform him of this . . " Ali questioned
"Leave that to . . " i said as she thought back to when he gave her his business card as well as his personal phone number for ergencies
Normally, if they weren’t in any danger, this would be the ti when Ali would crack a joke and ask i why she had his number and then they would talk a little about love, but this was a serious matter . .
"I’ll call him right now and inform him . " i said as she pulled out her phone

"CEO Lin, it appears that i is calling you on your personal device"
"Hand the phone and then go outside of my office while I answer this . " Sora said
The secretary thought it was weird that he wasn’t aloud to know the contents of the phone call but he didn’t question it
"Hello?" Sora said after answering the phone
"Umm . . Sorry, but and Ali won’t be able to go in to work for a little while . . . " i got strait to the point
"Why . " Sora’s voice sounded ice cold
"It’s simply to dangerous for everyone . I promise that once things have settled down enough we will resu working . . or maybe we can still do the important things that need to be done, but from the safety of our ho . . " saying that sparked another thought into i’s head
"Oh and we won’t be able to live with you . As I said before it’s too dangerous . . "
"Fine . " Sora’s voice sounded awfully cold when he ended the phone call

Authors note: I feel like it’s been to peaceful lately so I wanted to add so drama . . .
Also I chose to write this chapter because I want to remind everyone (and myself) of i and Ali’s badass nature
It just felt like to they both were getting way to soft so I had to do sothing about it . . .
And today’s chapter is double the size of a normal chapter! Normally it’s around 300-400 words (atleast it has been recently) and this chapter was more than 600 words!
Soone said that they wanted a mass release so this is the best I can do (idk)
