Upon hearing this, Nana Jensen’s cheeks, which were already slightly blushing, instantly turned bright red. She couldn’t bring herself to lift her head, and even the words of denial she attempted to voice lacked any conviction, “Brother Thompson is married to Sister Bianca, so he’s my brother-in-law. How could I possibly like… like my brother-in-law!”
Hearing this, Roy Thompson furrowed his brows tightly. He turned his head to glance at Bella Gordon and then shook his head, exchanging an understanding look with her. After so many years together, the two had developed a deep rapport.
“Rio Gordon, if you dare to talk nonsense and bully Nora again, I’ll have that girl who keeps calling you—what’s her na, oh yes, Senna Leon—she’s pestering you every day, isn’t she? If you bully Nora again, I’ll tell her you like her and have her co over to my house every day!”

Bella Gordon couldn’t hold back and burst into laughter. She had to admit that her brother knew this woman all too well, even deliberately choosing the seat he least liked—the one next to the driver, which she recalled he used to fight for when they travelled together, preferring the spot behind the driver. Today, however, it was amusing to see him snag the copilot seat he had always loathed!
“Rio, get down here, let Nora sit in the front passenger seat!”
Bella Gordon glanced at Senna Leon’s disappointed face and promptly yanked Rio Gordon from the front passenger seat, “You go sit in the last row!”
“Sister!”
Rio Gordon was reluctantly pulled down by his sister, and though unwilling, he had no choice. As their father said, ‘the elder sister is like a mother,’ and one must obey even when bullied, so Rio Gordon sulkily took his place in the back row of the comrcial vehicle. Senna Leon, seeing Rio Gordon sit in the back, suddenly brightened up, “Thank you, Sister!”
After speaking, she happily bounced over and took a seat next to Rio in the last row!
Bella Gordon: “…”
She actually quite liked this lively girl, thinking her brooding brother indeed needed soone fiery and passionate to handle him!
The journey from the airport to the Gordon family took nearly half an hour. Nana Jensen and Lina Miller were both docile won, and with the addition of Roy Thompson, whom they regarded positively, barely spoke. Consequently, the two n’s casual conversational topics were rather sparse!
Along the way, it was Senna Leon’s mouth that did all the talking. She incessantly called out to Sister, Brother-in-law, and Sister Nora in the sweetest manner possible, instantly bringing life and warmth to the entire vehicle!
