After hearing Ivy’s words, Sienna actually wanted to ask Jaysen if his reason for chasing her to Paris was because he had feelings for her, loved her, but seeing the teasing look in this handso man’s eyes, she just couldn’t bring herself to voice such a self-indulgent question!
Instead, all that ca out was this light-hearted nonsense!
Ivy once said that bold won who love a man are outspoken about it, but reserved won, even if they’re desperately in love, refuse to admit it, stubbornly waiting for the man to love them first.
Back when she was after Theo Scott, she’d been quite bold, openly confessing her feelings, sticking to him and delivering als to his dorm room, but she suddenly found that she couldn’t do the sa with Jaysen!
It’s not that she didn’t like him!
But she felt confident in winning Theo over by doing those things, whereas she felt that doing the sa to Jaysen might thoroughly turn him off.
It turned out, she still had a sense of restraint within her!
She had to admit, after being apart for over three months, she found herself quite missing Jaysen. She had secretly resolved that if another month passed and she still couldn’t forget him, instead thinking about him more and more, she’d return to China to find him.
But she had only been away for three months and Ivy was telling her that Jaysen was into her?
Before she had ti to gauge the truth of Ivy’s words, the man himself magically appeared, dragged her to a hotel, and funny thing was, she only resisted half-heartedly, not rejecting him sincerely.
“Freeloader?”
Jaysen chuckled, deliberately emphasizing the term, sohow making it sound vengeful. The color in his eyes deepened, silent anger spreading, “As far as I rember, I don’t have the habit of freeloading. And on that day, the ‘freeloader’ was you, so…”
“Jaysen Smith, what on earth do you want?!”
Sienna was getting fed up. This man was so stubborn, not uttering a single ‘I love you’ kind of word. She started to question whether Ivy’s ‘he likes you’ was just ant to stir things between her and Jaysen.
“Marry you!” Jaysen stood his eyes fixed on the pretty face beneath him. His blood was boiling, the heat steadily rising. If he didn’t control his emotions, he was afraid he might do sothing more direct.
Three months was indeed quite long enough to miss soone horrendously!
“What’s your reason?”
Sienna resolved to marry him if the reason he gave was ‘I love you’. Ivy was right, it’s more challenging to find a man who loves you than to find a man you love. The man she loved was gone. If there was one who loved her, she should just marry him.
But she just couldn’t get the answer she wanted!
“You’re carrying my child!” Jaysen looked at the woman deeply, his words cool and calm, “I don’t want my child to grow up fatherless, so you must marry !”

She couldn’t describe her feelings upon hearing these words. This ludicrous reason had to be the biggest joke of her life. Ivy once said that Michael Gordon wanted to marry her because of their child, but their child Bianca was already five years old, whereas her ‘baby’ was still inside Jaysen’s lower body!
This had to be the best thing she’s ever heard!
“Jaysen Smith, who the fuck told you I’m pregnant with your child?!”
Sienna was so furious that she made to slap him, but as she anticipated, he caught her hand. Her anger deepened, “Have you seen a woman who is three months pregnant with a belly as flat as if she hasn’t eaten enough food? Jaysen Smith, are you out of your mind?”
Couldn’t he co up with a decent reason?
Would admitting he missed her, that he loved her, kill him?!

As Sienna’s words fell, Jaysen’s gaze moved slowly from her stunning face to her flat belly. Corners of his eyes twitched, and a hint of red flushed his cheek.
Before coming to Paris, he had called Ivy, who suggested that Sienna might be pregnant and that’s why she fled abroad. He was skeptical because he’d taken asures to prevent it, and even if she was indeed lucky, the probabilities were slim.
But Ivy said that if he’s going to marry her, whether she’s really pregnant or not, he should just assu she is pregnant, then he’d have a piece of good reason to take her ho.
He thought it was a good idea. But what he forgot was it had been three months since, and he had been following her around Paris for more than a month, so even if he wanted to use that excuse, it was already out of date!

At the point where her own heartbeats felt like her death sentence, he moved his lips, words falling clear over her, “Since you’re not pregnant yet, let’s work on that right now. Anyway, you, I’ve decided to marry.”

Wide-eyed and speechless, Sienna stared at the man atop her, whose eyes were filled with burning desire, her heart began to race, and countless familiar images filled her mind.
