Chapter 236: Not An Accident

"Girl you look pale... Are you okay? Why is your aura so suppressed today?" Kay asked as he noticed Arya’s sluggish movents, she looked completely drained off of her energy and lacked that pleasant aura around her, whenever she was off cam at least. She was also grumpy lately though he could sense that she was trying her best to suppress it.

"I don’t know Kay what’s wrong with . It’s like I’m getting irritated for nothing and I feel sleepy a lot too. Thank goodness we have almost passed more than halfway shooting of the drama. By the way, I have taken an appointnt with the doctor you referred to

who can help

rember certain things I have forgotten about my childhood, can you accompany

later because Ryu won’t be around for a few days?" Arya said lazily and Kay nodded.

Arya already told him the situation of the Ken Family and the crucial mont they were facing right now and to be honest he couldn’t still process the whole situation going with the Ken Family right now.

’Are they doing their own action suspense drama or sothing? Gosh what a complicated situation!’ he thought silently then looked at Arya once more. He also noticed that Arya was so picky on foods lately. The changes in Arya’s mood and body were not noticeable if one didn’t know her well.

He had his suspicions about Arya’s health condition and was about to say it to her but the director shouted as the shoot was about to resu so he decided that he would just say it later.

The show will start airing in two days ti and they were all excited for it. So far everything had gone well and he was sure it is going to be a big hit and Arya would soon rise to fa because of her gifted talent in acting. She was doing great in fact she was superb in her acting and looked extrely beautiful and on top of that, every emotion she brought out in her role was so on point that Kay himself could feel the intense emotional stir in every scene that she was doing.

As soon as the shoot ended, Arya with Kay visited the hospital, sa hospital where Grandpa Ken was admitted.

"Let’s go to see grandpa after this." Arya said because Grandpa Ken needed a day more at the hospital to make it convincing that he was really sick.

The two entered the clinic when Arya’s na was called by the Doctor’s Secretary.

"Many childhood mories are not recalled in adulthood because mories are processed differently in young childhood and the mories from our childhood that we do have tend to be of the ’snapshot’ type - aning we just get a vision or a sense of sothing, but nothing too distinct." explained the doctor to Arya.

Then he asked Arya if it’s alright for her to use hypnosis, a little less common technique used by many psychologists to recall past mories. Arya asked about this technique in a little detail and she agreed to take a chance with this technique to recall what Bernard told her.

Kay was advised to wait outside.

After the session, as soon as Arya was out of the room, she grinned and chuckled hard as they walked towards the room of Grandpa Ken and that made Kay frowned.

"Don’t tell , the side effect of that hypnosis session is that you are becoming crazy like that? If you go crazy and your husband finds out I was with you, he is going to kill

dead!" Kay whined as he stared at Arya who was now laughing by herself.

"It’s so funny Kay... Haha sorry but it’s about Bernard and his funny expression is now vivid in my mory..." Arya said still laughing.

"Yeah you told

that he said you t before so what did you rember?" Kay asked. He knew it... He felt that there’s sothing about Bernard... sothing fishy with the way he reacted and looked at Arya...

Then Arya was about to tell it to Kay when she saw her mother-in-law was rushing towards the room of Grandpa Ken with worried expressions on her face.

She too walked there quickly while Kay followed.

Then she saw Old Master Ken rushed out from the door... She turned to Butler Omni and asked, "what’s going on?"

"There’s an accident, Alex is rushed in the ergency room. They say he’s badly hurt and would need an urgent operation." Butler Omni explained with stamring voice. He was obviously still in shock so Arya held his arm.

Alex was the eldest among Grandpa Ken’s child. Though he was just an adopted child, it was said that grandpa Ken loved him like his own blood and was badly hurt when Uncle Ken left the mansion when the CEO position was given to Ryu instead of him.

"I just hope this tragedy is an accident and is not intentional," Butler Omni murmured.

They followed Grandpa Ken, father-in-law and her mother-in-law who were waiting outside the operating room.

Auntie Sarah also arrived and hugged Grandpa Ken who was crying hard.

"It’s my fault... Oh God your brother... Please don’t let Alex leave us like this. Not like this..." Grandpa Ken murmured while crying.

Auntie Sarah was patting his back.

Chen arrived and reported to Old Master Ken the result of the investigation.

Arya got scared for the first ti when she saw Grandpa Ken’s bloodshot eyes and deadly aura.

In that instant, she could tell that what had happened to Uncle Alex was not an accident at all.

"This is so frustrating... I must think of a way to help our family." Arya murmured as she watched the Ken Family in distress.

She couldn’t just stand and watch... There must be a way...
