Chapter 216: Power
Old Master Ken left the mont he got the call from Chen and because the location where they had kept the doctor was very remote and in a mountainous region, he had to have patience and wait for the truth to co out. According to Chen the doctor was almost willing to pass on the information
’How true would all that information be?’ he thought inwardly.
It took them twelve hours drive to reach the place where Chen and that doctor were because it could only be travelled by car. Old Master Ken did not mind the long hours and the inconvenience since they had to travel down broken roads and climb the mountainous regions.
Old Master Ken slept through most of his journey to store energy for the interrogation that was to be done.
Scanning the place, he let out a long deep sigh. It was such an underdeveloped place that it was really just ideal for the doctor to hide here, no one could ever guess he would end up being in such a desolate place after reaching the height of his career when he could earn millions being in the best of hospitals or go abroad for a better future.
’Was this place even included in the country map?’ thought Old Master Ken senselessly.
Chen was waiting for them near the house where they have kept the doctor.
"This town is very small and all the folks that live here know each other very well Old Master. They all respect this doctor a lot and even care about his well-being very much. The doctor is with his apprentice right now. I think she’s from the City - and she’s suspicious. She never left the Chief at all and demands that you et him in her presence. I’m not sure if they are related at all." Chen briefed as they walked to the safe house with his security team.
Old Master Ken nodded, all that matters were the Chief Physician was willing to cooperate with him.
He entered the house and saw a young lady who was helping the Old Man with his food.
"He’s blind..." Chen whispered.
Chen coughed and said, "Chief, my Master is here now."
Old Master Ken greeted the young lady and said to the Chief Physician, "Hello Chief, I’m Rigs Ken."
The Chief Physician raised his hand for a handshake and said, "Yes, I know. I heard a lot about you. Though, I never thought that I would et any of your family soon but I guess I could not escape this fate as much as I wanted to. I’m just grateful that you got to find
first."
"This is my apprentice, Deyna. I actually entrusted her everything should soone from your family found
but too late to personally et ." Chief Physician explained and Old Master Ken understood what he ant.
The Chief Physician looked so weak already so he assud he was sick and not in his good health.
Deyna gestured Old Master Ken to sit down beside the Chief Physician.
"You two can talk in private. Chief, I will go get the things they need." Deyna said and looked at Chen, eyes that were indicating him to follow her.
Chief Physician nodded and smiled. Then he started talking, "That girl is really nice. I found her severely wounded and barely breathing at the nearby river near my house at the mountain. I thought she must have fallen down in waterfall sowhere from villages situated above this village near the mountain peak, I enquired a lot about her but didn’t find anyone who knew this child. She didn’t rember anything about herself when she woke up and survived death. She was born a natural talent in dicine so I’m teaching her more things that I know and leaving all my knowledge with her. I’m not sure about her past but I know that she has a pure heart and can be trusted. I’m the one who nad her Deyna."
Then the Chief Physician added, "I will cooperate well with you Mr. Ken, I will tell you what really happened that day and give you all the things that you need because I know you are good people. But can you please grant
a simple request?"
Old Master Ken sighed and replied, "Yes, tell
what is your request and I will do everything in my power to grant it."
Chief Physician laughed and shook his head, "Powerful people are truly frightening... That is why I chose to stay hidden. The struggle for power will burn you alive but with power nothing is impossible, like you, who finally found ."
Then the Chief Physician let out a long deep sighed, he stared at one direction for a minute. Old Master Ken waited then finally he heard him speak and as he narrated the whole story to him...

Chen followed Deyna, who led him to a well-hidden cave. It was very difficult to find this cave if one didn’t know its whereabouts.
"The Chief hid everything in there. He had buried the required docunts and other stuff in a box here." She looked around for so signs and then walked to a corner of the cave and looked at Chen and instructed him by pointing her finger at the exact place where the box would be, "Dig It." She said.
Chen followed and using a shovel kept inside the cave a little hidden, he dug around 2 feet in the ground and found a box. He opened the box and saw so papers in there together with video and voice tapes.
’These must be the evidences we are looking for.’ Chen mused.
"I actually don’t know what are those but the Chief had instructed
to hand this over to the Rigs or Cecile Ken only once he left this world."
The Chief reiterated that she hand those over to Rigs and Cecile Ken only.
When she asked more detail, the Chief only told her that it would be best that she knew nothing about the matter so she left things as they were and never asked more to him.
The Chief was a great doctor and she actually wondered why soone like him would stay in a place like this. So she presud that everything might be in connection with the Ken.
Deyna shook her head because she had her own problems to ponder than being curious about other people’s lives.
