Chapter 168: Only You
Arya t with the team assigned for her and she was quite shocked to have two personal assistants and a make-up artist.
"Kay, I’m good with one assistant," she whispered to her friend Kay who just winked at her.
"Nah, Bernard assigned them all to you. It’s just the standard. Once you beco a star... you’ll have more." Kay said then he introduced to her Ron, Liza and Dina.
"You call
Arya or Sis, whichever you’re comfortable with," she said with a friendly smile.
They had lunch and had so small talks to familiarize with each other. Arya found them all nice.
"Okay, so tomorrow you will et the director and other mbers of the crew for briefing and introductions," Kay reminded her.
She accepted the role because it was approved by Ryu. It was a drama where she will have many admirers but no love interest.
The story was quite good. It’s a suspense mystery thriller genre and she was actually looking forward to doing it.
Arya bid her farewell after an hour of discussions.
"Hmm, and why you want to surprise your husband? Is there any special occasion today?" Kay asked as he walked her to the car.
"Nothing special, I just want to check him out." Arya smiled and kissed her friend goodbye.
Yes, there’s nothing special but sothing was off this morning. She knew he was in so kind of situation and it’s a not good situation just by the look of him.
Ryu was in a hurry so she did not get the chance to talk to him.
Last night, she was probably in a deep sleep that’s why she did not notice him when he entered the room.
She got her mobile phone and called Chen to ask Ryu’s schedule today.
"Madam, Master Ryu’s eting just finished and he’ll be heading to his office now. You can go directly there Madam. He will stay at the office to sign and review so docunts..." Chen said on the other line.
"Do you think it’s possible to pull him out? Is there any important docunts there he needs to finish today?" Arya asked.
"Oh, no Madam you co first that’s what Master Ryu told . So you can definitely pull him out at the office now." Chen said enthusiastically. He was giddy at the thought that his workaholic Boss will be picked up by his wife for a date.
"Alright I’m on my way now, don’t tell him, okay..." Arya instructed and then quickly searched her phone for nice place she could bring her husband.
She wanted to try going on a the park with Ryu so she decided that she’ll bring him there. They both never did that before. She wanted to know if Ryu was afraid of rides.

Ryu was so busy signing the papers that he did not notice Arya entered his office.
He continued signing with his head bowed done and eyes focused on the papers as he flipped each pages to sign.
Arya suddenly spoke, "Hmm, you look so busy my love..."
Ryu was surprised when he looked and Arya’s smiling face before his eyes.
"I’m here to kidnap you Mr. Ken so put that pen down and co here." Arya said with a blink as she opened her arms wide indicating for him to co to her embrace.
Ryu chuckled and arched an eyebrow. "What kind of kidnapping is that? You’re supposed pull
up from this chair forcefully. What kind of a victim will co to you like that?" he said in amusent.
Arya pouted her lips and walked towards Ryu. Then she grabbed his arms as she tried to pull him but Ryu intentionally did not budge and pulled Arya to sit on his lap instead.
Then he rested his head on her chest as he hugged her tight.
"Love what’s going on?" she asked him while she caressed his hair.
"Let’s stay like this for a while." Ryu said with a heavy tone. Then after a minute he told Arya everything.
Arya gasped as she listened to Ryu. So that was why Ryu took long to go to their room.
Then she recalled, at Ryu’s apartnt before when she saw that displayed photo, she already noticed that Ryu’s mom in the picture looked like soone she knew and it was Shawn.
"What’s your plan now?" Arya asked.
Ryu stared at his wife’s face lovingly. Just seeing her and being with her, he felt like all the problems could be solved easily.
"For now, Chen and Dean are both working to find those people involved. It’s hard for us to tell Shawn or approach him without anything in hand. He has suffered a lot and I can’t imagine the amount of hatred he has for us." Ryu said then blew out a hard breath.
His voice was sad. Arya noticed that.
She sighed, briefly. "Yes you are right. Sotis those traumas cloud logical reasoning. The resentnt at most leads a person closing his mind and he tends to believe the people he’s with or had helped him."
"Let
help love. I will think of ways how we can get near Shawn... I an you should also try the brotherhood connection. He is older than you; he is your big brother. Oh so he’s my brother-in-law. Geez my husband got jealous of his brother..." Arya murmured unconsciously and giggled at the thought of Ryu’s jealous face before.
Then she stared at Ryu and held his cheeks with her palm.
She gave him a smack kiss on his lips and said, "Hmm, you should be nicer to him because now you know what he’s been through... and most of all don’t even get jealous because he is your brother."
Then she added, "And I’m your wife who is madly and deeply in love with only one person... the person who I will grow old with until my hair turns gray... and that man is only you..."
Ryu’s eyes t hers and Arya winked at him then she encircled her arms around his neck. She hugged him tight.
"We will work things out... Everything will be alright..." she whispered in a consoling voice.
