Chapter 118: Take Those Lips Far Away From
Ryu let his n and attorney handle everything regarding the incident that just happened and to cooperate with the police.
He and Arya were very soon inside the hotel where they stayed with a lot tight security asures. Arya was still in a state of shock and she was trembling slightly.
Ryu didn’t leave her for even a second and took her into their suite as soon as they reached the hotel. He took Arya to the sofa and made her sit down comfortably with pillows around her.
He then poured a glass of water and brought it to Arya and made her drink it with his own hands.
Caressing her back lightly he whispered in her ears, "It’s fine now, we are safe. Don’t panic calm down sweetheart." His words worked like magic to calm her down.
After she drank the water Arya inhaled and exhaled loudly before she spoke, "I think I must study self-defense from now on. I feel so weak!"
Ryu creased his forehead when he saw this sudden change in Arya’s mood. All the while, she was sobbing in fear inside car but now she looked more like frustrated because of the incident than being in fear or panic.
"I’m sure it is him who is responsible for today’s incident! I can’t believe that he would instruct them to use a gun on ! I will pull him out from his wheelchair the next ti I see that Old Man" she looked furious right now.
Ryu shook his head and cupped Arya’s face. He looked straight into her eyes and asked, "What the hell were you thinking? Why did you struggle like that? There was a gun pointed at you... Now that you’re sober, I will repeat this to you. NEVER EVER do sothing like that again... Don’t compromise your life and just wait for
to save you. Trust , I will never let anything happen to you. Wifey, you don’t know your worth in my life. I can never imagine my life without you. You breathe I breathe... your heartbeats make my heart pump blood... you are everything for ."
Arya bit her lower lip and answered timidly, "I thought I wouldn’t be able to see you again so my instincts told
that I should at least try to co back to your arms than do nothing at all. Who knows what those n were planning to do to . Who knows if you could save and find
alive in ti or worst dead? All I cared about that ti was to give my all and run towards you."
Ryu sighed heavily and pulled Arya into his embrace.
"No matter what happens... don’t risk your life and trust . I won’t let anything happen to you so just wait for
and don’t do reckless and stupid moves." He said while he kissed her head and gently stroked her hair.
"Love, I must learn to fight back and protect myself too. I don’t want to be a burden..." Arya murmured.
"Alright, I’ll have you trained once we go back ho..." Ryu said. Though he promised to himself He will not let sothing like this happen again to Arya.
The one responsible for this should pay the price for ssing with him and trying to hurt his wife.
’Just you wait for the day when I will bring you down and burry you alive...’ he thought furiously. He will make sure to pull down every last drop of blood from their group.
His vengeful thoughts were interrupted when Arya pulled herself out from his embrace.
"Do you think he plans to harm ? Because I rember hearing one guy say not to hurt ." She asked subconsciously.
"No he won’t. I’m sure this was just a warning and I think he was just checking how well my security was. Or he probably wants to ss around so my grandfather is alard. I’m sure he and grandpa have so connection from before...." Ryu answered plainly.
"I think we should get back ho now so you can also talk to your grandpa about all the things that are bothering your mind..." Arya murmured before she threw herself into Ryu’s embrace.

"What? They were attacked during their honeymoon? Chen give
complete details right now, how are they now? Are they hurt?" Dean exclaid to Chen who reported what happened to Ryu and Arya.
Chen sighed and narrated in detail what happened including the casino scene.
"Well, in his face! Did he actually think that he could still outpace my big bro? Not a chance... Even with
he doesn’t have a chance at all..." Dean declared arrogantly.
Chen scratched his head and looked askance at Rita who was quietly looking at her desktop computer. She was appointed as the personal assistant of Dean.
Only he knew that the two of them were married. Rita was the one who asked that they kept their marriage a secret in return of her signing the contract.
Chen bid his farewell to Dean and while he walked towards the door he couldn’t help but think, ’These KEN duo’s love lives are both complicated.’
As soon as Chen left, Dean looked at Rita and said, "Why your foster father is so frustrated and trying to dig his own grave by attempting to even bring us down. What is he actually thinking? We the Kens are not as gullible as he thinks we are. Is there a catch or sothing? I’m sure there’s more to it than ets the eye. He has so more grudges to settle, more than the business thing..."
Rita sighed then looked at him with an arched eyebrow and said, "Do you really think I would bother to tell you a single thing even in case I knew about it? Well, sorry but I know nothing and even if I did... I will not tell it to you."
Dean stood up from his chair took steady steps and walked towards her with a smug smile on his face. He reached near her and leaned on her table moving his face closer to Rita’s face. His eyes shone with mischief and a charming smile crept on his lips before he started speaking.
"Dear wife, you don’t need to say a single word about anyone else at all because all your tongue should talk about is either
or you. I might not look like, but am a little jealous husband. Moreover I could check things about your foster father on my own whenever I want. I asked you about this to simply strike so more conversation with you. I just hope that soday you will trust
fully and completely and tell
everything on your own."
Dean leaned closer and almost brushing his lips with her ears he then whispered, "But of course, I would prefer to hear your story and everything about you than that of your foster villain father." Dean spoke seductively as he tried to move Rita with his charm and affection.
On the other hand, Rita froze at that mont and she felt like all the air has suddenly been sucked out of atmosphere around her.
’What is he doing exactly?’ she thought while she tried to et his gaze but couldn’t take the heat and intensity of his eyes. She felt like she was lting and drowning in his eyes at that mont.
’And why are his lips touching my ears? Oh! They are so soft and hot...thwy would really feel so good while kissing!!’
’What? Kissing? Did I really think this? Whats wrong with ?’
’Stop that Rita!’ she scolded herself and creased her forehead.
"Can you take those lips far away from ?" Rita fiddled with her words and blushed when she saw that wicked smile on Dean’s face.
"Lips? Hmm... Why are they looking good to you or the touch of my lips is hot for you?" Dean drawled while teasing her.
"Just shut up. I ant keep your face away from . Why are you even talking to
this close? I’m not deaf so I can hear you clearly from a distance!" she hissed and kept her composure by making an eye to eye contact with Dean.
Dean stood up with a pleased look and smug smile on his face.
’Looks like my plans are working on you, my charm is taking over your rationality dear wife’
At the sa ti, the door opened and a tall, pretty and young woman entered the office.
"Hey Dean, I’m back... Did you miss ?" the woman spoke happily as she ran to Dean and hugged him like there were no other people around except them.
Rita’s mouth opened at the unexpected scene and her eyes squinted whe she saw the closeness on the two of them...
"Who the hell is this bitch?" she murmured irritably.
