Chapter 521: 521: Lu Xinglan: Co crave my body (second update

Under normal circumstances, it would only take about ten minutes by car from the restaurant to the Fifth Hospital, but Su Lihua drove very slowly and took more than twenty minutes. By the ti they arrived at the hospital, it was nearly seven o’clock.

Lin Dongshan was still in the operating room.

Su Lihua took Su Guyu to the ward, “Your mom is still at work, wait for her here.”

“Okay.”

He took out his howork and placed it on a stool, squatting down to write.

The ward had a sofa and chairs but no table, so Su Lihua cleared the little cabinet used for placing water cups beside the bed and moved it to the side of the bed.

“Su Guyu.”

The little head lying on the chair turned around, “Hmm?”

“Co sit here to write.”

“Oh.” Su Guyu hugged his howork and climbed onto the bed. He placed his books on the cabinet; the height was just right. However, he asked Su Lihua, “Will I disturb your rest?”

You…

Su Lihua sat on the sofa, “I’m going for a check-up in a bit, I won’t be resting.”

“Oh.”

The child continued doing his howork.

Su Lihua received a phone call, from Pullman.

The child looking up from his howork admired the adult: English is so good.

At that mont, soone knocked on the door.

Su Lihua hung up the phone, “Please co in.”

“Mr. Su, it’s ti for your check-up.”

The nurse who entered was recognized by Su Guyu; he politely called out, “Aunt Hongtang.”

Ruan Hongtang had previously worked in the sa departnt as Lin Dongshan and had t Guyu at a friend’s gathering, “Guyu, what are you doing here?”

“I’m waiting for my mom here.”

Here?

Ruan Hongtang couldn’t help but speculate in her mind: Both the elder and the younger have the surna Su.

“Lock the door,” Su Lihua said before leaving. “Don’t open it for strangers.”

Su Guyu replied, “Okay.”

At seven in the evening, the lights were all on.

Hongji Rice Noodles was located on a bustling pedestrian street, and at this hour, every seat in the restaurant was occupied.

“Table two, seafood rice noodles.” The female clerk set down two portions in clay pots and said with a smile, “Please enjoy your al.”

The custors smiled back, “Thank you.”

These smiling custors were none other than Chen Xiangtai.

The restaurant’s air conditioning was on, causing her cheeks to flush red. She took off her jacket, wearing a fluffy pink sweater, took a sip of water, then picked up a chopstick holder, grabbed a quail egg, and placed it on a plate, pushing it towards Lu Xinglan, “Mr. Lu, you eat first.”

She thought the quail eggs were the tastiest part of the rice noodles, so she gave them to him.

Lu Xinglan didn’t move.

Chen Xiangtai then tore open another pair of chopsticks and handed them over.

He took them, picked up the quail egg, and took a small bite.

“Is it good?” she asked, her face full of expectation for praise.

The restaurant was small and cramped, a well-established brand with outdated decor, no private rooms, too many people, and noisy children at the next table.

The environnt was too poor.

“It’s okay,” Lu Xinglan finished the rest of the quail egg in one bite.

Chen Xiangtai picked another egg for him and grabbed a mushroom for herself. She ate it without blowing on it and imdiately winced, “It’s so hot.”

She stuck out her tongue due to the heat but didn’t spit out the food.

Lu Xinglan took two tissues and offered them to her, “Spit it out.”

Her throat moved, tears appearing in her eyes, “Swallowed it.”

Lu Xinglan poured her a glass of water and took another pair of clean chopsticks to serve her a small dish, “Wait until it’s cool before you eat.”

He’s very particular, huh?

Chen Xiangtai didn’t wait for the dish to cool down and ate it, puffing his cheeks as he asked, “Can I use my own chopsticks to pick up the food?” Using “public chopsticks” would avoid getting saliva on the food.

Lu Xinglan struggled for a few seconds, “You can.”

Chen Xiangtai grinned like a triumphant little fox, using her own chopsticks that she had just eaten with, she picked up the last quail egg from the casserole and gave it to him.

Lu Xinglan ate it.

“Mr. Lu.”

“Hmm.”

Chen Xiangtai took a sip of water, beads of sweat ford on her nose, “Do you still rember the little fish crackers?” She wanted to take her benefactor down mory lane.

Her cup was now empty.

Lu Xinglan took her cup, refilled it, and gave it back to her saying, “I don’t rember.”

It had been too long, the benefactor didn’t rember.

She reminded, “It’s shaped like a little fish,” she showed the size with her fingernail, “this big, and it even tasted like seafood.”

Those little fish crackers!

Benefactor, I am the little fish cracker!

The benefactor said, “I’ve never had them.”

So the benefactor had specifically bought them for her that ti. After coming to this conclusion, Chen Xiangtai was deeply moved, “Mr. Lu, you really are a good man.”

Lu Xinglan: “…” How was he supposed to respond to that?

Chen Xiangtai picked up another piece of squid for him.

Lu Xinglan struggled for a few seconds, put the squid in his mouth, didn’t chew, and just swallowed.

Here’s the thing —

Before ordering, Nurse Chen asked Mr. Lu if there was anything he didn’t eat, and while asking, Nurse Chen’s eyes were fixed on the picture of the seafood rice noodles on the wall, looking very tempted.

Mr. Lu, who doesn’t eat squid, said, “There’s nothing I don’t eat.”

When it was ti to pay, Chen Xiangtai opened her arms, stood behind Lu Xinglan, and blocked him; her pose was a bit silly. He asked, “What are you doing?”

Chen Xiangtai turned her head to say, “It’s crowded here, you have a bad back, I need to protect you.”

Lu Xinglan: “…”

Silly and adorable.

A passing custor overheard this and glanced at Lu Xinglan’s back.

Lu Xinglan imdiately straightened his back, “My back’s not bad, it’s all healed.”

Nurse Chen was asking from a professional point of view, “Can you squat when you go to the toilet?”

Passersby held back their laughter.

Lu Xinglan: “…”

He took his card, left her, and went out first.

Chen Xiangtai jogged behind him; the outside temperature was significantly different; she was exhaling warm breath, and while running, she asked, “Mr. Lu, where is your house? I’ll take you ho.”

Lu Xinglan slowed his pace: “I’ll take you,” he said, “put your coat on.”

Chen Xiangtai put on her clothes: “How can that be okay? What if you fall asleep in the car on the way back and the driver has ill intentions toward you?”

The color of her jacket was poop color, surprisingly sweet-looking when she wore it.

Lu Xinglan walked slowly, just synchronizing with the young lady; he had his hand in his pocket, fiddling with the alarm clock she’d given him, “You’re taking ? What if you have ill intentions toward ?”

Chen Xiangtai honestly raised her hand to swear, “I won’t!”

He stopped, grabbed her hat, and they both paused under a street lamp, “Why not, Chen Xiangtai, aren’t you lusting after my body?”

“…”

Such a grudge-holder.

She sheepishly defended herself, “I’ve reford.” Worried he wouldn’t believe her, she added sincerely, “Really, I’m not lusting after your body anymore.”

“You keep lusting.”

She was baffled, “Huh?”

Lu Xinglan’s lips curved slightly upward as he walked forward, “I’ll take you ho. Once you get ho, I’ll have Old Tan co to pick up.”

Chen Xiangtai followed behind, “Okay~”
