“Even if Soaring Distance Technologies really can’t be saved, I don’t want to give outsiders the impression that the Shui Family are a bunch of cowards when a disaster strikes,” Shui Anluo said hoarsely. She then turned her gaze away from the scene outside.
It was nine in the morning and the sunlight was starting to get glaring. Shui Anluo released Chu Ningyi’s hand and turned towards the car door. She placed one hand on the handle and took a deep breath.
Chu Ningyi stared at her petite little figure. This little girl would usually disregard all integrity and admit defeat to him. One could say that she lacked a moral backbone.
