Anabella blinked at the speed at which her husband disappeared from before her, but she could not say she was surprised.
For all the cheating and bullshit Daniel spoke about, he was a rather pure man.
He had been with his original lover for over ten years and was ready to mark her after she had his kid and married him. And even after her death, Daniel had not been able to forgive her and went after soone who was like his first love.
It all indicated a pureness that people seldom possessed.
Anabella would have praised this man if this had been a novel and she was a reader or a bystander.
But since she was involved in this ss and the most direct victim of her husband’s ’loyalty,’ she could not say that she had nice thoughts about him and his habits.
Still, since this was the case, she knew there was no point in blaming what had already happened.
Anabella turned around toward her room because she knew she had to start packing when she heard Jas’s voice. He sounded concerned and annoyed at the sa ti.
"You sll too strong. Did you use a lot of perfu? Not that it’s bad, but I don’t think my body likes to be around this sll. Especially when it is this strong, it makes feel funny."
Jas complained and expressed his concern at the sa ti. The kid looked at Anabella, torn between coming closer and running away.
This was the problem with alphas who differentiated too young - their instincts were everywhere.
Currently, the alpha inside Jas must have wanted to get more of Anabella’s pre-heat scent, while his protective instincts as a kid wanted him to stay away.
These contradictions could cause the kid to feel conflicted about his feelings and end up in the state he was currently in.
"It happens, Jas. I think the perfu I used expired. Why don’t you walk to Sharon and bask in her scent? It would make you feel better."
Anabella pointed out, and Jas hesitated before quickly approaching Sharon.
Since Jas’s instincts saw Sharon as his mother, she would be able to provide him with stability and comfort. Anabella was not able to.
It was a sha this happened, but Anabella did not want to take responsibility for anything else.
She would leave the house for about three days but did not feel sad or frustrated.
Her oga instincts did not even put up a fight when they felt her leaving her ’ho’ while she was in pre-heat. That indicated she was not attached to this place, which she called her ’ho.’
An oga usually drove comfort from their nest while they were in heat, but Anabella did not have enough material she cherished to make a nest of her own.
’This heat is going to be unbearable. If only I did not have to co off ds once in a while, I wouldn’t be facing this issue at all. I wish I could call soone for help...’
Just as Anabella finished thinking this, her phone rang, and a familiar unsaved number appeared on her screen.
She had seen this number several tis in the past few days, so she recognized it and picked up the call.
"Anabella, I have ti today. Do you want to hang out with ? I promise I will not get too excited and keep myself under as much control as possible...but no promises...."
Noah’s voice was clear, and it made Anabella’s stomach flip. Her pre-heat brain almost yelled out for her to ask for help from this alpha before she controlled herself and bit her words down before they could escape her mouth.
"Calm down and talk slower. I did not understand a word you said to ."
Whatever Noah had said had been crystal clear to Anabella, but she needed so ti to digest it. So, she asked Noah to slow down when he told her what he wanted.
Her voice was rougher and coarser than at other tis, making even Anabella flinch at how rough she sounded.
She needed so water but did not want to return and get so.
So, she ignored how dry her throat felt as she packed her things into her duffle bag.
Anabella would have to buy food later and set a reminder to eat during her heat. It was not going to be fun.
"Hey, are you alright? Your voice sounds off. Are you getting sick? Should I call Clair to co and see you?"
The alpha asked in a worried voice as he spoke faster and faster.
Hearing Noah worry for her made Anabella’s insides feel warm and fuzzy. She wanted to bask in this feeling a little more, but then she rembered she was on a tir and could not afford to waste ti.
She continued to throw easy-to-wear clothes (not that she would need them) into her bag before she grabbed other necessities and forgot about them.
"Anabella, are you zoning out on ? Or did you faint? Should I call an ambulance for you? This will be the second ti-"
Noah was getting increasingly panicked by the second, and Anabella finally rembered that he was also on the call with her.
Sohow, she had forgotten all about him being on the phone with her, and the reminder made Anabella blush a pretty red color that no one could see.
"No, it’s all fine. I am just in pre-heat, so my body is acting up a little. You don’t have to feel worried about because I am fine."
Anabella assured the alpha she was talking to, and Noah felt his mouth go dry this ti. He had no idea what he could say to make this situation any less awkward.
So the alpha coughed in his hand to hide his embarrassnt, forgetting that the call wouldn’t show his embarrassed face. There was nothing for him to hide in the first place.
