Sharon felt shocked at the question she had been asked, but soon, joy filled her heart as she considered why Daniel was asking her this question.

Daniel’s smile poked at Sharon’s heart. That smile seed to mock any effort she had made up until now.
But Sharon did not show it on her face as she continued to smile and bear all the hurt.

Sharon smiled on the outside, but her insides felt burning. It now made sense why nothing she had done worked until now.

Sharon felt like she was being driven into a corner because of what happened, but she remained calm and did not show anything on her face.

Even though Sharon was not after Daniel’s money or company, this hurt her hearing and made her eyes water.
Her lover did not consider her a possible option to put in his will.
Sharon knew she should stay quiet and not speak up, but in her irritation, she asked Daniel a question she would regret.

Sharon knew she had made a mistake when those words left her mouth. The tight look on Daniel’s face told her that the younger had forgotten all about Anabella until he had been reminded of her.

Daniel spoke in an annoyed voice, but he also flinched as soon as he realized he had no choice.
His words made Sharon relax a little. She knew that she hadn’t made a mistake with what she had done.
But still, it sucked that her lover was forced to attend to his wife, whom he did not even love or get along with.

She had not lost this yet.

She had no idea that her husband or Anabella had asked her not to have a kid. Jas had no desire to share what he had with a sibling.
