"What do you think you are doing in there? Is the bathroom a place for you to lock yourself inside? How did you even manage to do that?"

Daniel questioned Anabella while rubbing his brows. He looked like he was in pain but trying to make sense of things.

Thinking about this situation more clearly made Daniel realize that his words did not make sense. How can a person lock themselves inside the bathroom?

Jas’s guilty expression also helped Daniel understand what could have happened. But by the ti he gathered his wits, it was too late to do anything about it.

He had already lashed out at Anabella and blad her for things that had not even happened.

Anabella’s expression was neutral, but her eyes looked angry when she looked at Daniel. This made her feel fear and guilt at the sa ti.

"I...would like to head to my room now. I don’t feel well at the mont."

The younger oga wanted to say a lot, but she controlled her expression and mouth. Her expression looked a little tight when Anabella looked at Jas, and Daniel felt his protective instincts rise.

"Stop looking at Jas and just head to your room. You should dry up and wipe all the water off yourself. Would you like to have sothing hot to drink-"

Daniel tried to offer an olive branch, but Anabella did not seem in a good mood. She walked to her room and slamd the door shut.

Her actions were childish, and Daniel sighed as he watched the young oga sulk amateurishly.

’Sharon would have never shown her emotions like this if she was in the sa position. It makes feel glad that my lover is Sharon, not Anabella.’

But this was not about how he felt. Daniel looked at his son, who was still admitting distressed pheromones while looking at the door. His face looked sullen, and his eyes looked haunted.

There was a story that Jas had not told Daniel, which made the older alpha feel jealous.

Half of his instincts told him to break down the door and demand an explanation from Layla. He wanted her to make things better for him.

However, he knew it was a foolish idea and needed patience. So, despite his instincts telling him that it would be better to demand an answer from Anabella, Daniel kneeled before his son and sat down.

"Jas, would you please tell what is going on here? Did sothing happen between you and Anabella? If you tell , then I can do sothing about her-"

"No, it’s fine! Nothing happened. You don’t have to do anything."

Jas tried to blow out the topic before it even began. He said nothing was wrong, but his behavior told Daniel sothing.

An awkward silence fell around the pair, and no one said anything for a mont.

But Jas soon cracked under the pressure, unable to keep his mouth shut for long, and told his father what was bothering him.

"Ugh, about that...actually, fine! I will tell you what happened. But you have to promise that you will not laugh at ."

Jas asked his father, and the older alpha agreed easily.

It reassured the younger, and he took a breath before speaking about all the grieving he was facing.

He told his father how the day started, about the encounter at school before the after-school day, and how he went to the arcade and got a fine.

The more Daniel heard all this, the tighter his face went.

’Ah, I knew I should not have allowed Anabella to do whatever she wanted with Jas. She’s been a bad influence, and I should have a *talk* with her soon about it.’

Daniel was surer than ever before about what he needed to do. But his expression soured just when Jas reached the end of his story.

Even his voice had more of a growl when he talked about *those two* alphas who said that they were Anabella’s friends and left their scent on the oga.

"I don’t know what happened, but by the ti I realized what I was doing, I had dragged Anabella back ho and asked her to shower. I wanted her not to co out before she removed that sll, so I locked the door....and forgot all about it.

I am sorry. I will apologize to Anabella about it."

Jas seed torn about what to do but not sorry. He still believed that he had been in the right for what he did.

’This is not my fault! It is the fault of those two alphas for trying to mark soone who is not theirs! I should not be feeling like this...’

Jas’s heart told him that, but his rational side said sothing different. This tore the young kid up because he had no idea what to do about it.

Daniel noticed his son’s struggle, which made him feel guilty. He knew he needed to do sothing, but his mind blinked when he tried to think about it.

Ultimately, he decided to talk with Anabella as soon as he could. And that ant tomorrow.

He also needed to separate Jas and have him spend more ti with Sharon than at ho. The young alpha was beginning to get confused about who his real family was.

’I never expected Jas to show possessive habits toward an oga who was not his mother or mate. He does not even feel like this toward Sharon, and he considers her as his mother.’

It was not terrible news for now, but it could beco terrible if sothing is not done soon.

"What a terrible day. First, Sharon gets angry at because of Jas’s choice, and now this. Will things continue to be like this in the future as well?"

The alpha wondered, but he did not get an answer from anyone. Ultimately, he could only sigh before he walked out of the room.

The sky was clear and bright tonight, but the sky above Daniel’s heart was gloomy and listless.

"I guess it is ti to call Anabella’s mother and tell her about those two ’alpha friends’ of Anabella. I am sure that madam will take care of things for ."

Daniel’s heartfelt fought as soon as he spoke that, and he quickly dialed a familiar number on his phone.
