Waste Stone Mountain.

Golden Claw·Quik imdiately led his team to rendezvous with the reinforcents, chanting “Flas Never Die” as the warriors prepared for battle.

Reinforcents from various sides were gathering here, but it was too little, too late.

A rcenary group called “Strong Beast Army” forcefully joined the war and attempted to usurp Golden Claw·Quik’s leadership position on the battlefield.

The leader of the army was Owen Strong Beast, a forr deserter.

Escaping Waste Stone Mountain was not unusual; many stayed here for the future of their race, guarding this place with their lives, but others, after gaining strength, chose to move north for a more stable future.

The territories of Duke Hein were more suitable for them, where everyone could achieve the life they desired.

At this mont, Owen Strong Beast was standing where Golden Claw·Quik had stood, in front of a sand table recording so information.

Among his team, there were several wizards skilled in reconnaissance, using Mana Eagle Eye to observe the enemy and anticipate their moves.

Known for their calm and composed combat style, the “Strong Beast Army” had made quite a na for themselves.

“What a ss.”

Owen clenched his fist, raising his hand to flip the table.

Clattering, food scattered all over the ground.

A few rcenaries about to eat stared dumbstruck at Owen.

What are you doing?

“Golden Claw·Quik is not suited for this place!

Now we need to co and clean up this ss!”

The Beast’s Nest attacked, encircling them in a fan-shaped siege from the southwest to the southeast, with eight thousand soldiers of the Strong Beast Army ready at strategic points.

But seeing the nearly endless Beast Tide, and the giant beasts that darkened the skies behind them, Owen still felt chills.

He rembered that things weren’t this bad when he left.

The battle had already begun, with Magic Cannons and Demon Beasts firing at each other.

So flying Demon Beasts crashed into the frontlines instantly, engaging in aerial combat with the soldiers.

Dazzling beams of light darted across, occasionally hitting the ground and kicking up dust.

Often, they would accidentally hit their own warriors.

Levitating combat was not sothing ordinary soldiers could manage; only the elite could leap up.

The enemy’s anti-air magic weapons were not as agile and accurate as imagined.

Owen was headache-ridden by the chaotic information.

He had returned to prove he was no traitor and helped the King of Kings seize a territory his opponent might not even care about, but whatever the reason, he had co back to fight.

Owen thought this himself; he had returned with powerful forces, so his hotown people should be grateful to him, but there was no chance for him to play the hero, and the situation was worse than imagined, with an unprecedented ferocity in the Beast Tide’s assault.

“We should retreat!”

The rcenary leaders beside him said.

It was a rational choice; the Beast Tide was unbeatable, continuous and mighty.

The truly logical act would be to turn and flee.

Owen gritted his teeth as he didn’t want to, especially seeing a familiar figure rushing forward made him even more unwilling to admit his inferiority.

Running away…

again?

Golden Claw·Quik, holding a weapon, advanced slowly.

Swinging his sword quickly, switching to a blade when the sword broke or bent, constantly hacking without stop.

He was like a Swordsman facing the waves alone, fearless.

The rowdy mountains blared with fire.

A giant beast noticed Golden Claw Quik’s presence and, unreservedly, sent out its rage in a booming explosion of heat waves, knocking Golden Claw·Quik over.

His weapon lted instantly, along with one of his arms.

The surrounding people and Demon Beasts fared even worse; they were torn apart by the explosion, thrown high, then scattered everywhere.

The Beast Tide was deaf to the idea of surrender, not that they planned to.

“Behind is the Eternal Sumr Nest!” Golden Claw·Quik, holding a one-handed sword in his left hand, raised it like a flag of faith.

But, the Beast Tide had already transford into an unstoppable torrent, surging and tearing through the defense lines with teeth, claws, magic, or bodily impacts.

No one could hold out.

Only death remained in their wake, the ground staining red rapidly in the attack, and perhaps the Beast Tide’s target wasn’t even the Eternal Sumr Nest—they just wanted to push forward.

“Can we catch up?”

At the outbreak of the Beast Tide, Golden Claw·Quik sensed sothing was wrong and tried to contact Ska who worked with the Black Knight, but ti was too tight and hectic; he didn’t wait for a reply.

Lind felt the power within him.

Being a Demigod didn’t necessarily correlate with strength, as seen by weak Deities who couldn’t even defeat well-prepared Undead.

However, the transition to a higher life form allowed Lind to feel his power grow more expansive.

For instance, every Deity has their own knight.

He too could have his mighty knight to fight for him; Lind first thought of the Undead.

Although the Undead lacked loyalty, having them as knights in his service would greatly enhance their effectiveness.
