The Boss King actually disguised himself as a novice village chief?! Chapter 530 - 530 430 Beasts Poster Girl
530: Chapter 430: Beasts Poster Girl 530: Chapter 430: Beasts Poster Girl Lavee, muddled and alone, returned to the Beast Sacrificial Ground.
“If…
but…
although…
yet…
alright.”
He straightened his back, his gaze resolute.
Just as humans say, they had no intention of harming anyone; they rely sought a place to live.
It was the Beastn who ceaselessly harassed them.
Even after being attacked, they didn’t resort to evil retaliation but instead provided those Beastn with jobs to sustain themselves.
“…Whether they work overti is voluntary, I think what they’re doing is right.”
Lavee said as he presented his viewpoint to the Great Beast High Priest.
Though the opposite party held a lofty position, Lavee was no weakling.
Previously an obscure little beast, ever since he had risked his life to earn the title of “Sword Saint,” he had beco an important figure, even more so in a place like the Beast Sacrificial Ground, where survival was always sought amidst cracks.
The “Great Beast High Priest” Soralis Ancient Echo pinched the claws under her robe.
She wanted to close the door and release Ull!
“The Undead wish to trade and cooperate with us?” Soralis adjusted her breath, trying to sound less angry.
“Yes, they’ve produced a lot of, uh…”
(⊙o⊙)…
Lavee suddenly rembered, all the produced goods were made by the Beastn at the Beast Sacrificial Ground.
“A lot of what?” the High Priest asked.
“Products, various kinds of products, surely to fetch a good price, and they’ve promised not to raid our caravans again.”
Lavee scratched his head.
The current problem was that humans needed the Beastn as rchants to sell the goods they produced, but human rchants had captured Beastn to produce these goods.
Humans needed to capture more Beastn to work, or release the Beastn to sell the products.
So why did he have to be the diator, anyway?
The Beast Sacrificial Ground had no reason to cooperate with humans.
It was a bit itchy, he needed to think.
Looking at the foolish Sword Saint in front of her, who knew only battle, High Priest Soralis cald herself, “I can cooperate with them, but they must return all the Beastn.”
The issue was not about benefits but about power, which the High Priest saw more clearly.
…
Lind loosened restrictions on the Undead because he knew that with the Undead’s current strength, even if they wanted to stir up trouble, they couldn’t cause much.
Gathering more and more information, he gradually understood the distribution of power in his area.
First, there was the infamous Stone Beast Fort, the residence of the Beastmaster.
It was unclear whether the Beastmaster truly existed, but assuming he did, Stone Beast Fort was filled with formidable beings.
It was the largest city and city-state in the western region of Magic Land, perceived as a place full of opportunities, crowded and endlessly charming by different Beastman communities.
It compromised with no Beast King, although everyone thought it should be a center of power since everyone worshipped the Beastmaster, but in reality… Stone Beast Fort was just a city-state, having long existed as a neutral power.
Stone Beast Fort was no different from other city-states, except that, due to being a hub of various races, it was more inclusive in terms of beliefs.
It was said to not only have a temple of the Beastmaster but also other religious and Evil God’s sacrificial grounds.
Lind withheld judgnt because, from the viewpoint of the “Three Gods” faith, the Beastmaster was one of the Evil Gods, no different from the Furnace Lord or the Mad Secret Overlord.
This was why, when Lind asked if he knew about the Sky Star Magic School, Lavee almost imdiately recomnded he go to Stone Beast Fort.
If one couldn’t find the answer there, it was even harder elsewhere.
Countless Beastn harboring dreams of fa, fortune, and rising above others went to Stone Beast Fort, drawn from every corner and often attracted by stories bragged about in small taverns, then beginning their own terrible adventures.
Next were the city-states where the Beast Kings lived, the nearest being the Corrupt King and Lionheart King, from the Wilderness Ruins to the Beast’s Nest.
The middle area was a mix of forces including the Beast Sacrificial Ground, Underground Specters, and Mage Tower, all belonging to “neutral” parties.
A complete map, and very likely all were red nas.
The Black Blood deliberately released belonged to the Lionheart King.
Lavee weakly counted as part of the Lionheart King’s influence.
The best option laid before Lind was to take the Undead directly to the Corrupt King, who, looking abnormal yet displaying a very friendly attitude towards humans.
By siding with them, his NPC status would be undermined.
Unlike the situation with Rand Kingdom, Lind could not compete with the Beast Kings in terms of resources, so his sights were set on the neutral forces.
Occasionally mad and out-of-control specters were excluded, to be contacted later if there was an opportunity.
Mage Tower, perennially closed.
If there was a Legendary Mage skilled in combat inside, his number of people wouldn’t be enough to threaten it, even multiplied by ten.
It wouldn’t suffice against long-range, large-scale magic attacks, the bane of the Undead; if you can’t touch it, you can’t fight it.
You at least need to be able to withstand the initial attack to use the Undead’s advantage.
Lavee’s return brought good news to Lind; the High Priest at the Beast Sacrificial Ground wanted to talk, and they were the most suitable party among his options.
“Undead, assemble!”
Watching the Undead suddenly all don Abyssal Armor turning into evil warriors, Lavee, the workshop director, was a bit stunned.
“Lord Lind, the High Priest just wants to talk to you about cooperation.” Lavee, thinking he hadn’t been clear enough.
