355: Chapter 300: Troll Poster Girl 355: Chapter 300: Troll Poster Girl Lind gazed at the person in front of him, pondering long and hard yet unable to find the right adjective to describe her.

To call her “Miss” might be an offense, or perhaps “massive” would be an offense.

This colossal figure, exuding a chilly aura, was draped in a loose, academy-style cloak that at first glance looked like a quilt being aired on a haystack.

She stood in a Raven City hall capable of comfortably holding twenty to thirty people, yet she made the entire room seem sowhat cramped.

“Miss Isa?” Lind’s throat moved slightly as he tried to appear more polite.

However, his eyes couldn’t help but sweep over her up and down uncontrollably.

Miss Isa, the mysterious force that helped Baron Red Mushroom, Gordon, escape the control of “The Officials,” had been summoned imdiately once he learned of her existence.

Her robust upper limbs contrasted with her rather slender lower half, giving her a sowhat hunched appearance.

If judged by human aesthetics, her face would fall into the category of ugly, with a large nose, bean-sized eyes, and even white patches and large blisters on her nose and cheeks.

Her hair was ice-blue but as coarse as the hard spikes on a porcupine’s rear.

This was a female troll, though she was much smaller than the trolls of legend, only about two heads taller than Lind, barely qualifying her to be classed as a “minor giant.”

“It’s an honor to et you, my lord.”

The troll nad Isa spoke softly, and if one closed their eyes, they could imagine a gently noble miss well-versed in literature smiling as she spoke.

Just like knowing Miss Miko must be flat-chested from her voice, or knowing Lania must be a queen from hers.

The voice drastically contradicted the visual appearance.

“Are you a troll?” Lind asked directly.

He didn’t think it was impolite; perhaps trolls might even consider humans to be the ugly ones.

“I am a hybrid,” Isa indeed didn’t find Lind’s question offensive and earnestly replied, “My mother had troll and human blood, and my father had human and elental elf lineage.”

Elves, the kind with pointed, elongated ears?

Or those tiny creatures that could only stay on one’s palm?

The Magic World sure had its quirks.

No reproductive barriers, you guys really dare to try everything, huh?

Lind nodded; he held no prejudice against demi-human races, as many races were now showing mutations, evolving into new forms.

It’s the humans who are being weeded out.

“I heard from Gordon that you saved him.”

“I was just passing by,” Isa nodded, “I sensed his unwillingness, and only after getting Gordon’s consent did I dare to try.

The chance of failure was high.”

Lind wanted to talk with Isa about information concerning “The Officials,” but Isa indicated she knew nothing about that.

Her answer regarding resistance thods was also sowhat abstract.

“I major in archaeology and astronomy,” the reserved Ice Troll Miss expressed pride when ntioning her field of study, “History and the stars will guide us on the right path.”

“There are a few people now; can you help restore them to normal?”

“This is difficult, Sir.

I never make any guarantees.

Everything in the world has its destined direction; our lives are but a pursuit of the path set by the stars,”

Lind saw in Isa so shadows of Aluna, especially in the way she spoke, which was strikingly similar.

Fortunately, Lind had great respect for talented individuals.

As long as one had talent, being reclusive or looking odd was not your problem—it was those who did not understand you who were too lowly.

“You seem not to believe that the stars have already determined the future?” Isa asked sharply.

“I believe that every decision I make is my own, Miss Isa.” Lind did not want to discuss the matter further.

He certainly did not believe in the future, just like the future Nimue had once told to Baron Baya, it hardly qualified as the future, at most it was an interesting trick.

If I knew the definite future, would the future still co if I did nothing?

The future I cause—is it because I now know the future, or because I don’t know it?

“Do you realize, a star hanging on the horizon takes countless years to send its light to Xilu Continent.

The starlight we see at night, in fact, originates from stars tens or even hundreds of thousands of years ago, watching us with past eyes,”

This was not the first ti Lind heard people from the Magic World speak of science.

In this world, there was no such thing as science, only knowledge; soul, chanics, magic, faith, prayers, curses, etc., all were different categories of knowledge.

“I am very interested in the star knowledge you spoke of.” Lind’s expression was sincere, and this was enough to excite Isa.

“The knowledge cos from Sky Star Magic School,” Isa did not take all the credit for herself, “I am just a simple learner, trying to grasp the wisdom of the predecessors, but after the contact, one can only feel the vastness of the sea of knowledge.”

“I know soone from Sky Star Magic School too; maybe I can introduce you,” Lind said, “but before that, I hope you can use the knowledge from the stars to help .”

Miss Isa nodded happily: “I spent my days imrsed in the library during school, only familiar with a Poster Girl who was responsible for cleaning, I look forward to eting new friends from the sa school.”

She bowed her head, her icy blue hair standing like porcupine quills: “To be able to utilize what I have learned is also my goal.”

Rand Legion’s soldiers would rest briefly in Raven City before continuing their expedition to Goliath.

And the Riven Soldiers would also join this expedition—the “Golden Throne” as the major large-scale battle plot, had beco a consensus among all the Undead, who must participate in the upcoming battle!

The Undead were moving from all directions towards Raven City or Goliath, in order not to miss this vital scenario.

From the battle’s na alone, it was clear that the ultimate goal was to seize back the Golden Throne.

However, so lower-level Undead noticed sothing amiss; why had every village head from Newbie Village been called away by Lind and not returned since their departure?

Although a new village head quickly took office, accompanied by a team.

So people regretted that their caring Newbie Village chiefs were replaced, as they felt the chiefs were quite communicative, gentle, and kind to the Undead.

But most did not care much; Newbie Village was no longer the main battlefield.

And when small squares and crossroads of these Newbie Villages were dug up and filled with signboards, the Undead understood—he had co!

He ca with the strong style of an online ga mission!

anwhile, in Red Mushroom Village, a squad of Riven Soldiers who had been ordered to rush from Raven City pushed open the doors and found not a shadow of Undead inside.

Once an Undead of Red Mushroom Village expressed: “I have long deleted my account and started anew.”
