The Boss King actually disguised himself as a novice village chief?! Chapter 33 - 33 33 102 update
33: Chapter 33 1.02 update 33: Chapter 33 1.02 update The gate of Star Dragon Ridge Outpost was flung open.
Blood and stench were kept outside.
Lind casually tossed out a mission, having the Undead patrol around the Star Dragon Ridge Outpost.
Undead without a mission were untrustworthy, for you couldn’t be sure what sort of mischief they might get up to.
Undead with a mission were absolutely to be trusted, even if their own fathers showed up, they wouldn’t betray their mission…
mostly.
The traveling frogs had their thoughts, and Lind had seen it; a few players had been enthused by showing off their skills, and now they were single-mindedly focused on battling monsters to level up.
Even if Lind wasn’t a non-authorized NPC, even if he truly had authorization, the players would simply not listen to him.
They only thought about advancing to beco Great Knights.
However, Lind had no such plans for the ti being, at least not until he’d gone back and read more of the players’ posts, to see their analyses.
Fortunately, the gaming experts were all very understanding of traffic, so they didn’t keep their technique posts and videos to themselves, allowing Lind the most direct view of the players’ progress in the ga.
As of now, player levels weren’t high; Loves White Silk and a few others already belonged to the top tier of players.
Lind’s body bore no dirty blood or foul odor; Clore’s fury had burnt the filth away.
He washed his hands and face briefly with hot water, then lay down on the bed.
He undid his clothes and looked at the softly glowing ring at his chest.
Lind closed his eyes.
Unable to sleep, he decided to browse the forum, lurking to see what other mischief the players were up to.
The Rand Kingdom was vast, and this land of Magic Doomsday even larger, with many nations.
It was quite possible for players to appear in every corner; they might help him observe each region’s happenings with their own eyes, helping him to gather information swiftly.
However, after a cursory glance of three to five minutes, Lind was disappointed.
He felt these players hadn’t grasped the essence of the ga, not even getting properly started.
A large portion still loitered in the wilderness, others were captured as Slaves, used as ergency rations, or even put to work farming the land.
Players who obtained weapons and armor were as rare as phoenix feathers or unicorn horns.
If he did have authorization, he’d certainly exploit it ruthlessly, exploit it to the fullest.
He would issue hundreds of missions every day, making players build houses and battle monsters for experience, effectively becoming the fourth Calamity.
He’d see whether the Calamity was formidable, or whether the fourth Calamity would be.
Alas, he didn’t have such power, so Lind had never thought of controlling the players; he only wanted to scrape so benefits while guiding them, strengthening his own power and influence during this period to improve his chances of survival…
and, to avoid dying at the hands of the players.
Once sure he wouldn’t get any useful information, Lind shifted his gaze to the video section.
You could say these people really knew how to stir things up.
Character creation was too free; players had a lot of room to operate.
Especially with dancing.
[I think there should be a dance section, those edgy little sisters finally don’t have to crazy use filters to pad and enlarge themselves, here everyone can be a top beauty]
[↑ Original?]
[Doomsday Magic Ring = Ring = Circle = Original, get it?]
[When a needs explaining, it’s no longer a , retire the ‘original’, also my Wife is adorable when pinched~, ignoring the facetious comnts.
We dance just for fun, but isn’t Xiong Xiong a bit bigger again, haha, screen licking]
Lind watched videos with a critical eye until late into the night.
He fell asleep in a daze.
When he awoke again, dawn was breaking.
It was three days after the arrival of the players.
Lind got dressed and picked up the Carrion Queen’s Broken Sword.
The Undead had not returned; it looked like they’d be gone for a while.
“My lord!” Old Pete greeted Lind with a bow as he saw him.
The other Soldiers, and even the won and children, bowed as well.
What happened last night was no longer a secret; such a small group couldn’t avoid discussing it while chatting.
The Lord possessed great strength, and life was sure to get better going forward.
Lind nodded, “Reed, co and help make a sheath for my sword.”
Reed nodded, “Yes!”
Having maintained and repaired weapons and armor all year round without a blacksmith, the soldiers knew a bit about everything.
Lind lost his previously quite useful sword, but it didn’t matter, he had acquired an even sturdier and more useful great broken sword.
The sword couldn’t hang at the waist, but a sheath could be made to carry it on the back.
It wasn’t hard to make a sword sheath from leather and small iron ingots, at most, it could be done by mid-morning.
Breakfast was still hot soup and at.
“There’s no staple food,” Lind observed as he watched won and children carefully line up to get their food.
The bowl wasn’t precious, the precious thing was the food.
After receiving their at soup, two children cheered and then, under adult guidance, bowed to Lind respectfully.
Lind nodded slightly.
There was still plenty of wolf at, but it had to be rationed for the soldiers to eat; as long as the noncombatant won and children didn’t starve to death, that was good enough, at least for the ti being.
This distribution was not only Lind’s idea; the won and children had no objections either.
Having a place of refuge and being able to drink oily soup every day, they had a better chance of making it through the winter.
Eating only staple food made them hungry too quickly, and at was too precious.
He went on his usual inspection of the territory, checking on the growth of the potatoes in the vegetable garden.
He hoped the potatoes would grow quickly and then he could expand the scale.
“What’s the matter?” Lind asked, pushing aside the straw with so confusion.
The growth of the potatoes was poor.
He called over a woman who had experience with farming to ask about the situation.
“My Lord, potatoes have beco very difficult to grow,” she said with so regret as she looked at the sprouting potatoes buried in the loose soil, possibly feeling that this thod of cultivation was sowhat wasteful compared to eating them directly.
“We’ve tried growing crops before and found that the crops would grow, but once they reached a certain size, they would be absorbed by the land, not allowing them to grow large.”
Lind was learning about the Doomsday condition from the perspective of farming for the first ti.
But since the potatoes had already sprouted and looked like this, they were definitely inedible.
Just plant them in the ground for now.
The undead had not returned yet, and the idling won and children did not yet have the chance to serve as NPCs issuing quests, so they undertook the job of cleaning the spoils of war.
Cleaning the blood plasma off the weapons and armor was a simple task, and then drying them off.
Afterwards, they would be maintained by the soldiers.
All the equipnt that was to be sold to the undead had to be treated well.
Patrolling the outpost.
Having brief, casual conversations with the soldiers.
Then Lind’s attention returned to the official website of “Doomsday Magic Ring,” where posts had exploded in number, with various help threads coming non-stop.
Although his battle with the Carrion Queen was popular, the hottest topic wasn’t his video, but a post called “How to Gain NPC Favorability Skills,” where soone explained in detail how they had won the favor of an NPC.
As an immortal being incapable of removing their undergarnts, they managed to make a female rchant like them and receive a set of equipnt, including a decent sword.
While others were still toiling away at farming and hunting, he had already changed into a set of fine clothing and strolled out leisurely.
A crowd of people called out to the expert below.
[Make way, I’m going to show off.jpg]
[You’re not playing the ga right.jpg]
[In the Doomsday world, the Duck King is re-employed, teach , I want to conquer Brother De~!]
Lind, who was enjoying the fun, felt as if he had suddenly been kicked, and the smile disappeared from his face.
He imdiately exited the forum.
That group of undead players could really pull off such stunts.
“Even if you turn yourself into a fairy, I would never fall for it!”
If he got caught showing interest in a player whose gender he didn’t know and got screenshotted, that would probably be the end of the NPC’s life.
Then Lind found out.
The Officials had already released a new announcent, he just hadn’t noticed it.
