131: Chapter 121 ‘Perfur’ Brittany 131: Chapter 121 ‘Perfur’ Brittany The team blocking the way swiftly dispersed, not forming a defensive formation, as if they were worried that Lind might misunderstand.

When the second legion infantryn followed Lind through the gate, the weak defense force of Holy Water Town surrendered their white flag at the first mont.

Just as Serene had once disdainfully faced Prey Town, Lind’s power and influence were now even stronger, bringing a severe oppressiveness that made the Undead’s scalp tingle with fear.

The city walls could not resist, the shields could not defend, and without the mayor, who was an “The Officials NPC,” resisting stubbornly, everyone chose to comply.

Lind stepped over the unseen body of the Newbie Village mayor, feeling no pity in his heart; killing his enemy was not a first for him.

His status as “Old Nobility” inherently placed him in the role of a villain, a lineage and identity that could not be changed, so…

kill all who are enemies!

As he moved along, crowds of people successively knelt on the ground, in circles around him.

The soldiers of Holy Water Town, with complex expressions, discarded their crossbows, looking at Lind with fear, then bent their knees.

The emaciated townspeople shivered, their gaze fixed on Lind’s boots, and even though they knelt, their bodies shook uncontrollably as Lind’s gaze swept over them.

It was as if a deity had descended, surveying His domain.

So also saw Lance, his antlers leaving a deep impression on them.

In their eyes, the once mighty mayor, who had tasted defeat, was defeated by the man with the Ice Bow, and now that very man was obediently following behind Lind.

The powerful mayor, after a sneak attack, was still easily crushed by his opponent.

Their bowed heads indicated their desire to live.

This was the normal reaction.

“Where is the wizard?” Lind asked.

The one questioned was a soldier with a broken leg, his face marked by fear and resentnt, but when Lind’s gaze t his, only reverence remained.

“Miss Brittany is behind, in that spired house.”

“Don’t worry,” Lind reassured him, “I am not bloodthirsty.

Welco aboard.”

Apart from the Newbie Village mayor, he really had not killed another person.

The Undead?

They were not alive to begin with, so they didn’t count.

Lind strode forward, then saw what was referred to as the spired house, a rather narrow residence surrounded by pots cultivating many Magic Potions.

Faint purple mist and barely noticeable exotic fragrances wafted leisurely.

Lind pushed open the door, his vision pitch black at first, and when his eyes finally adjusted, the space in front of him was larger than he had imagined.

Whoosh~

He looked down, standing in a shallow water pool.

The huge moon subrged half its face in the water, emitting a luminescent glow that made him montarily think he had arrived in the vastness of space, standing before the moon.

Looking up, there were stars all over the sky.

The vastness of the universe also inspired fear, a fear that penetrated to the core regardless of one’s strength.

Drip, drop, a black liquid fell from above, and Lind instinctively looked up, his eyelid twitching.

It was a huge creature resembling a dragon, lacking dragon scales and skin, its beating heart and every tender vessel visible.

Its jagged, stalactite-like fangs appeared to be its only solid part.

Its body was filled with various cosmic elents, as if it contained the starry sky within itself.

Most worryingly, this representation of cosmic void in the form of a dragon was now looking down at Lind, obviously considering him as its next al.

“Control of five senses or just auditory and visual?” Lind ignored the dragon poised to strike but never moving forward, talking to himself.

“If you don’t dispel all these troubleso things, I can assure you on behalf of the deity who has already run off, I will chop off your head!”

“How did you discover it?”

The moon, the shallow pool, the strange dragon, everything disappeared.

Lind stood inside the spired house, facing a mysterious woman sitting before him.

She wore a veil, tall and sensuous, with a red dot between her brows, her exotic allure made Lind raise an eyebrow.

Brittany, he knew her.

In the NPC beauty contest, Miss Miko had taken first place, and Brittany had secured second, but in Lind’s view, the results should have been reversed.

The lovely Miss Miko was evidently not as appealing as the “lovely” Brittany.

“Because I did not feel the power of the moon,” Lind answered earnestly.

A wizard capable of creating illusions, he had thought of too many possibilities, and upon contemplation, although the creation of the dragon lacked atmosphere, his illusion of the one-ard Newbie Village mayor had truly deceived Lind.

“The moon?” Brittany’s eyes suddenly lit up.

However, Lind had no intention of continuing to answer her questions.

He turned to look at the furnishings inside the spired house; although she was a wizard, unlike Miss Miko’s stewing cauldron, she only had a large mortar, with the floor and table strewn with pots and jars, so continuously releasing exotic fragrances.

Initially, Lind had not really considered these items, but combining all he had just experienced, he boldly guessed that Brittany’s illusions were related to the exotic fragrances.

“Are you a Wizard?”

“Perfur,” Brittany noticed Lind’s unfavorable gaze and explained, “Those are just spices that make people feel better.”

Then she stood up, “A Perfur’s magic is related to spices.

We use spices to create illusions.”

Lind didn’t ask what would happen if he covered his nose.

He waved his hand towards the faint smoky spice, yet the smoke was unaffected.

As long as the senses existed, she had a way to affect her targets.

“Star Dragon Ridge welcos you to join, Miss Brittany,” Lind said.

rely by Brittany’s appearance, he had to recruit her into his camp.

Teaming her up with Miss Miko, one exotically enchanting, the other cute as a bunny, he didn’t believe any Undead could resist being swayed.

With these two reaping, the Undead would probably be happily rushing to be harvested like leeks.

Brittany bent her waist like a dancer, “My honor~”

Lind rely expressed slight approval of her, but in reality, she was still a prisoner with no chance to refuse.

The sun still hung directly overhead without a hint of shifting.

The entire siege took no more than 30 minutes from start to finish, and when Lind erged from the pointed cottage with Miss Brittany, everything outside had already been settled.

Lance and Bard, now leading the army, were sorting 200 people into squads based on gender and age.

Under the cold threat of weapons, nobody dared not cooperate.

Only the Newbie Village village head died during the battle.

No one from Lind’s side was killed, and there were no resources consud.

“Miss Brittany, we…”

The Undead rushed over tumultuously, but their expressions froze when facing Lind.

They simply couldn’t beat him!

Lind didn’t give these Undead any pleasant looks, he confiscated their weapons and then detained them.

The earlier “update” ntioned that new player settings must be utilized.

The siege unfolded in a way that surpassed all the Undead’s expectations and ended in a way that surpassed all the Undead’s expectations.

Since the whole process was recorded, many witnessed Lind’s strength.

There was a lot of discussion about Lind, with many staying fixated on the [??] which wasn’t specifically represented on Lind’s panel, all guessing there must be sothing, but the ga currently showed too little.

“But I saw sothing familiar, the chains used by Brother De, those belong to Lady Serene, the Earth Dragon Knight, right?”

“Right, I thought it looked familiar too!”

“Is it a growth-type NPC?”

The Newbie Village village head turned out to be a growth-type NPC, and moreover, this NPC was recognized as a generous supporter; what does this imply?

It ans there’s a strong thigh to cling to!

Soone imdiately speculated wildly, “What if I use resources to feed Brother De to max level, and then let him take dungeon raiding?”

Resources weren’t an issue for the Undead, the only problem was the level restriction.

But there were also complaints.

“Lind is truly the ga Official n’s favorite son!”

“Is this really the Newbie Village head?

Why is another village chief so worthless, crushed with just a simple grasp?”

“Even more curious, why those bandits were suddenly recruited.”

“You’re clearly not an old player.

Our Brother De is nicknad BOSS Succubus, don’t you know what a Succubus is?

Red-Na Monster would swear allegiance at just one glance.”

“That makes sense.

The previous Voldemort guy, that Hamr Carrier, and now this antler man and the four-ard guy.”

“Old Nobility, New Nobility?” Soone grasped the crux of the issue.

“So, this is the real main story, right?”

“Isn’t the main story about saving the world?”

Speaking of the main story, a bunch of Undead suddenly realized a problem—they didn’t even know what the main story was and were just mindlessly playing the ga.

Moreover, the ga had a vast amount of non-repetitive dialogue text, not only achieving no repetition for each person but also ensuring no daily repetition, making NPCs exactly like real people, making it difficult to discern the main story through dialogue.

For now, the Undead only knew they had to kill the Calamity.

Activities such as farming, breed, and Magic Potion jobs, they hadn’t experienced yet; they were purely watching the Star Dragon Ridge’s Undead play and followed along to vicariously quench their thirst for action.

“So, the one from Harbor Village that appeared is the New Nobility, and Brother De is the Old Nobility, does choosing a faction an different gaplay?”

Just a little information revealed by Lind’s red na was enough to spark a brainstorming session among 3000 people.

The ergence of factions also ant that the Undead had to make a choice, and seeing Lind’s ruthlessness and decisiveness in attacking the Newbie Village, the issue of factions was paramount.

Even if Lind’s faction offered excellent benefits, there would always be those curious about what it would be like to be loyal to the New Nobility, so it was impossible to monopolize the Undead completely.

All Lind could do was try his best to attract the Undead with benefits, treatnt, and ga experience.

The most permanent solution was still to eliminate the New Nobility.

Killing all the New Nobility would definitely leave the Undead with no choice but to turn to the Old Nobility.
