122: Chapter 113: The BOSS’s Underling Who Shows Up at the Door 122: Chapter 113: The BOSS’s Underling Who Shows Up at the Door Lind belonged to the First Regular Army, also known as the First Legion, the First Infantry.

The Rand Kingdom bordered the sea, but its navy’s developnt was diocre, so most of the ti, the infantry legion was directly referred to as the First Legion.

The entire kingdom had three legions, with the First Legion being the Noble Soldiers, with the strongest force.

Nobles entering the army would bring their own private soldiers and pay out of their own pocket to train private soldiers to earn rits and establish legacy for themselves.

In comparison, the Second Legion was much weaker, comprised mostly of ordinary citizens, who were responsible for leading charges into formation and acting as cannon fodder, paving the way for the First Legion.

The Third Legion was the Cavalry Legion, belonging to the Royal Guards.

“My lord!”

Another person ran up to Lind, handing over a dragon insignia with a flattering smile on his face.

If he had truly brought a big shot from the Royal City to Lind, wouldn’t that be a great rit!

It would also be good to have the lord rember his face.

Lind looked at the dragon badge expressionlessly.

The dragon badge was the “Hedwin” family insignia, functioning the sa as the lion badge of the Armand family, both being noble rewards for their subordinates, a badge of honor.

The issue was that Hedwin was the King’s family, and the Great Prince that Lind once followed was Kot Hedwin.

If this were truly the Great Prince’s man, he would certainly recognize Lind, but this person in front of him was not familiar, and his opening wasn’t “Lord Lind” or “Lord Armand,” but just “my lord.”

“Are you one of Her Majesty Queen Rania’s n?”

He couldn’t help but curse inwardly, weren’t they saying all the nobles had gone mad?

Why was that woman not dead!

Lind had no conflict with Queen Rania nor any disputes, as a lackey of the Great Prince, he had t with Queen Rania in the Royal Palace many tis, and without mincing words, if it weren’t for his engagent, as an heir to the barony, he would have been eligible to compete for the future husband of Her Majesty, that Prince consort status.

Yet he had wished countless tis it had been the Great Prince who had survived, not the Queen who had gently exiled him, at least let her be insane.

“I have made so contributions before and have been awarded by Her Majesty the Queen!” Han proudly raised his head.

Lind now really wanted to let the Undead just take Han out, after all, he was the lord of the Star Dragon Ridge, surely he couldn’t just imdiately defect to her while the Queen was still alive.

“How is Her Majesty Rania faring now?” Lind asked.

Is that woman insane or not, give a straight answer!

And how many people does she have under her command, is it worth my while to defect to her.

The Undead had gone into spectator mode, their own lord was actually chatting with a Red-Na Monster, which ant there might be a thrilling execution scene up ahead, or perhaps there was a special plot unfolding.

“We have lost contact with Goliath,” Han shook his head, “We are currently stationed at the lookout tower of our Forr Territory, making our last efforts for the final glimr of hope for the kingdom.”

“In Prey Town, I heard of your esteed status, so I actively sought you out, please allow us to swear allegiance to you!”

That’s a lot of information.

Lind pondered for a mont, “We have a lot to talk about, Han.”

Looking at the tense Undead around him, he said, “The Undead wearing lion badges are warriors of the territory, you shouldn’t view them with hostility, they are our own.”

If the Undead could see a red na, it showed Han inherently harbored hostility toward the Undead, perhaps there was much more that he himself did not know.

“Yes!” Han nodded.

Then Lind heard the Undead exclaim.

“The red na disappeared?

Has he really beco one of our own?”

“Damn, a Red-Na small BOSS cos to join up in admiration, Brother De is truly a Boss Succubus indeed.”

“I rember the last ti in Mad Wise Ones’ village, even Voldemort himself kneeled to beg for Brother De’s shelter after learning he was a noble.”

“For real, a King’s return?”

“Brother De, make a quirky face, please, I can’t take it if you don’t.”

Lind’s mouth twitched, the Undead couldn’t comprehend this obsession with noble lineage.

The so-called worship of Old Nobility was essentially worship of the Ring of Magic.

Worship of Magic was worship of power.

As his strength constantly increased, Lind’s understanding of this deepened too.

Taking Han into the council hall, Han’s expression didn’t change when he saw Reed and the other Soldiers; he was looking for Nobles, not the Rand Kingdom Soldiers.

Han waited for Lind to sit down before he started recounting his story.

“After the apocalypse, before Goliath had lost contact, we received orders to garrison the morable small hill’s lookout tower in the Red Dragon Foothills.

Our superiors were Captain Lance and Vice-Captain Bard.”

“I’ve heard of them,” Lind said: “Lance, one of the Kingdom’s top Divine Archers.”

The Rand Kingdom had more mountains than plains, otherwise, it wouldn’t focus so much on developing infantry, but Lance was able to shoot while riding swiftly through the mountains.

“And Bard,” Lind said: “Armor smith, he made a very fancy set of dragon scale armor for Prince Cote.”

Many armor smiths can create beautiful Armor, but only Bard in the whole Rand Kingdom could use various small chanisms to allow for limited-range joint ejection and transformation of the armor.

However, its practicality wasn’t very high, purely flashy and cool, fitting the flamboyant nature of the Prince, Lind had also at one point wanted a set for himself.

Bard wasn’t from the Rand Kingdom; he had dull black and yellow skin and extrely thick facial skin, like an old tree bark, rumored to be from a desert region outside the Rand Kingdom.

It was because of this racial difference that Lind had a deep impression of Bard after just one distant encounter.

Hearing that Lind, as a noble, also knew of his ho captains and vice-captains, Han felt proud.

“And then what?” Lind asked, taking the initiative.

“The morable small hill collapsed, so we abandoned the lookout tower and prepared to return to Goliath, but on the way back, we encountered deserters from Goliath.”

Deserters!

Lind suddenly perked up: “What happened to Goliath?

When did you receive the information?”

What a golden opportunity, his very own golden thigh.

The Undead numbered only 3,000, but the Rand Kingdom had three legions; if these forces could be consolidated…

“Prince Cote tried to save the Kingdom; he chose to gain power by taking the Magic Potion, he…

Damn!

Lind slamd his fist on the armrest of his chair; the armrest “crack” fractured, causing Han to widen his eyes in shock.

Why couldn’t the Prince keep his cool, sigh.

“We couldn’t return to Goliath, so we decided to garrison at a lookout tower in the Forr Territory; we now have only 90 people left.”

“90 people, and each one is about your strength?” Lind asked.

Clearly, Han was of Great Knight rank.

“A small number of them,” Han shook his head: “But Captain Lance and Vice-Captain Bard have successfully advanced to Upper Rank after drinking the Magic Potion.”

Finally, so good news.
