The Blue Eyes Chapter 72 - UNTOLD STORY

"Why did you do that?" Kevin asked after hearing Selena's answer about what formula the female professor injected in him seventeen years ago.

"I knew they were going after Blue. I had to hide the formula so they won't get it," the professor replied.

"You have to hide it in your son's body?" Kevin suddenly raised his tone again and made the lady flinched in surprise.

Kris, who sat beside him, quickly grabbed Kevin's hand that was clenched on his lap. Kris's movents were so fast that Kevin didn't have ti to dodge.

"Calm yourself, Kev. You have to rember that you aren't completely able to control your power yet."

Kevin listened carefully to Kris's words and he started taking a deep breath and exhaled slowly to calm himself down. Even though he felt irritated at the werewolf, but his lover's words had a point. He didn't want to be controlled by his new power.

"You even have to pretend to be dead?" This ti, Kevin asked quietly when he cald down a little.

Selena lowered her head, not daring to look into the blue eyes of her only son, who was now staring coldly at her. "I had no other choice," she said timidly. "For decades, I was forced by Joseph to support all his evil plans. During that ti, I was under a lot of pressure. I don't want Joseph to look for again if he finds out I'm still alive, so seventeen years ago, I injected a serum into my face, which caused the cells to regenerate so that the appearance of my face changed until people didn't recognize anymore."

Kevin was astonished by Selena's explanation, but he only focused on one thing. "So, Joseph Beischel is still alive too?" He asked after he concluded Selena's story.

"Yes," Selena replied. "I know about that from Kris. Joseph and Mike have been eyeing Blue together."

The young scientist was stunned to hear Selena's answer. It turned out that his father and his mother were still alive all these tis. He had been in deep grief for seventeen years, but it turned out that his biological parents were still alive.

"Then, what about the orphanage? It looks like that's part of your plan too. It looks like you also lied about Social Service taking Blue and to the orphanage. Am I right?"

Now, it was Kevin who was rounding his eyes in surprise. "Even my foster parents were involved in all this?" He asked in disbelief. It turned out that everything had been carefully planned, including the event where he was adopted by a couple who he thought were just ordinary people.

Selena slowly nodded. "They used to be scientists too, but they decided to retire after the war was over. They helped buy a building that transford into an orphanage in just a day, also helped got a new identity as Monica Nierling. They also gave the facial changing serum that was the result of their research."

Kevin was completely astounded. Everything was too sudden and it was hard for him to endure. Perhaps Kris was right. He was right that Kevin was not ready to accept the reality at once.

"Then, what about Blue?" Kevin asked again. "She is with the werewolves now. Aren't you worried about her situation? She's in a difficult position, and it's all because of you! Don't you feel guilty? Don't you see how Blue has been suffering all this ti because she doesn't know her background at all?"

Kevin's questions seed to hit straight to Selena's heart. She could no longer look at her son, and even her eyes began to tear up. Kevin was right, all of this happened because of her selfishness. All of this happened because she was so weak in the past.

"I'll apologize to Blue and will explain everything to her after she cos back to us."

Kevin imdiately smirked after hearing Selena's answer. "After Blue cos back to us? Why are you so sure Blue will return? What if the werewolves kill Blue after they find out that she isn't the one they are looking for?"

Selena did not imdiately answer her son's question and instead grabbed her cellphone which was lying on the table. She pressed the screen several tis, then placed the sophisticated object to his ear. After a while, it looked as if the line had been connected because she started speaking on her phone.

"Has Blue co?"

Kevin and Kris looked at each other. At first, Kevin non-verbally asked Kris who was on the phone with Selena, but the werewolf shrugged his shoulders as a sign that he didn't know about that either. In the end, the two handso n looked back at Selena and watched the lady intently.

"That's good. Ask her to rest and make sure you take good care of her. I'll co over there tomorrow and explain everything to her."

And the phone line was cut by Selena. The lady took turns looking at Kris and Kevin, then smiled as she said, "Blue has returned to the orphanage."

That one sentence inevitably made Kris and Kevin widen their eyes in surprise.

"But, how did Blue get back to the orphanage so quickly? What really happened to her?" Kris finally asked.

"Didn't I tell you we should trust Blue and not worry about her?" The lady smiled at Kris. "The formula I put into Blue's body seventeen years ago was a formula I created myself. Joseph never knew if I had finally co up with the formula. It's a formula for creating a space-controlling power, or you can call it teleportation."

Kevin and Kris widened their eyes after hearing the explanation from the lady. A piece of information that was too shocking that it didn't make any sense.

"I deliberately modified the formula so that at a glance, the effect caused by the formula was similar to the effect caused by Joseph's formula. I purposely deceived them so they thought Blue was the kid who had that formula in her body. I bet on Blue because I believed she would return to the orphanage. After all, her heart and mind are connected to the place. That's what it takes for her to use that power."

All of this suddenly felt like a fantasy story. How did the story go until Selena was able to create the teleportation power in Blue's body? How genius could Selena Beischel be to create that power? Was she even more genius than Joseph Beischel? They were both a pair of geniuses, but who would have thought that the two professors would end up fighting each other using their geniuses?

Was it what Kris ant so ti ago that Kevin's parent's had so goals related to the werewolves drama? Kris said that one of the goals was to rule the world, and that goal seed to be Joseph's goal. anwhile, Selena had a different goal, which was to oppose his husband to save the world. Now, Kevin understood.

"Kevin," the grey-haired lady called out her son's na again. Kevin reflexively turned to her, and the lady continued, "You don't have to worry about Blue. So of my n guarding her at the orphanage. They are just normal humans, but they are ard with great weapons that can subdue werewolves. Now, you only have to worry about yourself. Kevin's expression turned tense after listening to Selena's words. He didn't know what happened to him when Jack 'visited' him so ti ago, but he didn't bother with it and focused more on his safety.
