The sixth dical University Exchange Competition officially opened.

Jiang Xiaoxiao, Wang Huan, Zhang Xun, and seven other classmates represented their First dical University in the competition.

The competition is a three-round elimination system.

Those able to enter the competition have already gone through the preliminary rounds, usually only the top ten can enter the official competition.

At this ti, Jiang Xiaoxiao, Wang Huan, Zhang Xun, and Mu Feng ford a team to participate in the surgical practice contest.

Though Jiang Xiaoxiao and Wang Huan were only second-year students, they barely managed to cooperate. anwhile, Zhang Xun and Mu Feng, representing the fourth-year seniors, were the strongest contestants.

Wang Huan comforted Jiang Xiaoxiao, "Don’t worry, today’s competition isn’t very difficult. I watched you the first ti you held a scalpel, and you were impressive. This competition is a small thing. It’s just a kidney removal surgery, not sothing you can’t handle.

Zhang Xun and Mu Feng have to do a liver transplant operation, which is way more challenging than ours. You really don’t have to worry."

He had seen Jiang Xiaoxiao’s first surgical practice stitches, and Jiang Xiaoxiao did very well.

Her hands didn’t shake, her eyes didn’t blink, she didn’t vomit, and she steadily completed the stitching surgery.

He had never seen a student like Jiang Xiaoxiao perform stitches for the first ti.

Calm as if she had practiced a thousand tis, especially remarkable was the flawless stitching on the wound.

No mistakes could be found.

Jiang Xiaoxiao pursed her lips—is she the one who’s nervous?

Clearly, it’s this person beside her who started rambling due to nervousness.

What’s Song Moting up to now?

A month ago, Song Moting didn’t care about losing his chance to study abroad and suddenly said he had to go sowhere. No matter how Jiang Xiaoxiao asked, Song Moting wouldn’t say what he was going for.

He just said he had to help a friend.

It would take half a year.

No matter how Jiang Xiaoxiao asked, he wouldn’t say.

He left resolutely.

Since their marriage, it was the first ti they were separated for so long.

Jiang Xiaoxiao truly missed Mr. Song, as he had made a fuss before leaving.

He even asked her for a bottle of peach wine.

Jiang Xiaoxiao guessed this favor involved trendous risks.

Even life danger, so she cooperatively divided the peach wine into aluminum flasks to ensure they wouldn’t break and Song Moting could carry them around.

She didn’t know what Song Moting was going to do, but Song Moting wasn’t an impulsive or reckless person, so his unwillingness to explain was probably because he couldn’t. Therefore, it was better not to ask.

Jiang Xiaoxiao understood that even between married couples, personal space is needed, especially since Song Moting had once been soone in a mysterious military group before his current assignnt, whether helping a friend or undertaking an unspeakable mission, it’s not her place to ask.

The only thing she could do was remind and enjoin him repeatedly to contact her no matter what he encountered.

Between them was a certain tacit understanding. Although never outright discussed, they both knew that Jiang Xiaoxiao held secrets that could save lives, ensuring survival even from the brink of death.

The night before Song Moting left, he held his wife deeply and intensely, making Jiang Xiaoxiao suspicious if he intended never to return.

Thankfully, Song Moting sensed Jiang Xiaoxiao’s worry and finally revealed a bit—that he was going for a secret mission.

He had to go.

It was a mission calling for him to act without reservation.

Jiang Xiaoxiao could only pretend she knew nothing, but deep down, she was sowhat concerned.

When it was their turn to go on stage, Jiang Xiaoxiao and Wang Huan were matched in capability, reducing any unfair differences.

Jiang Xiaoxiao and Wang Huan entered the operating room.

The simulated operating theater had five beds laid parallel.

Five surgeries would take place simultaneously here.

Jiang Xiaoxiao’s team was lucky; they were at the last table.

Why is it considered lucky? The first and last surgical tables typically have less psychological pressure compared to the three squeezed in between.

With people around, it naturally makes one more anxious.

Wang Huan proudly raised his head, "I noticed my grouping with you brought good fortune, it’s really a great start."

Jiang Xiaoxiao chuckled warmly.

Although Wang Huan was nominally her senior, Jiang Xiaoxiao was not at all intimidated by him.

In her heart, her achievents and knowledge in dicine far surpassed Wang Huan; after all, she had studied for decades more.

Even in terms of experience, she was much more knowledgeable than the average person.

Comparing two lifetis’ worth of experience against others felt a little unfair.

Nonetheless, she was indeed a senior.

A staff mber had already directly brought up the rabbit for them; this ti, they used a rabbit instead of a mouse.

Anyone standing at this operation table wouldn’t care whether it’s a mouse or a rabbit.

Wang Huan considered his practical experience far superior to Jiang Xiaoxiao’s, so he was certainly the primary surgeon while Jiang Xiaoxiao was but an assistant.

"Xiao Xiao, don’t be afraid. I know you haven’t much practical experience; as a second-year, you’ve only done a few practice surgeries. But, you’ll be fine assisting , just trust in what I say."

Wang Huan genuinely thought of himself as a senior.

Jiang Xiaoxiao smiled, finding it quite nice to be regarded as a novice occasionally, appreciating the caring sentint.

"Alright, senior, rest assured, I will definitely not hinder your surgery."

Even as an assistant, she would undoubtedly be the best one.

The judges had been in place for a long ti, observing through the glass from the outside, watching each surgical table.

Seeing the students’ calm expressions with not a hint of haste, they all felt quite satisfied; the students’ professionalism was very high this year, showing no sign of anxiety amid such a surgical competition.

Five teams from five colleges were competing.

The ringing bell announced the start of the competition.

Wang Huan smoothly cut open the rabbit’s belly with the scalpel.

Just as he was about to request a specific scalpel, the correct model was already placed in front of him.

Wang Huan was surprised and lifted his eyes to glance at Jiang Xiaoxiao. The girl was fully focused on the rabbit on the surgical table, while all surgical tools were ticulously laid out beside her. Just from the arrangent of the scalpels, it was clear that the girl knew exactly what would be needed next.

She had nearly ordered the instrunts per his surgical needs. His heart quietly marveled; he had thought Jiang Xiaoxiao’s second-year knowledge would rely cover basic surgery, perhaps nothing more than stitching.

But it seed like this girl had quite the hidden talent, evidently having learned quite a bit from their family’s Boss ng, given her proficiency indicating so.

He couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed, realizing he thought he’d finally have an opportunity to truly act as a senior to showcase his dical skills, only to find his assumption shattered—he felt sowhat slapped in the face and it hurt.

"Focus, senior,"

Jiang Xiaoxiao reminded Wang Huan, as no operation can afford a lapse in attention—an insight nurtured through years of experience.

He had also taught her back in those days.

Surgery is a matter of life, whether it’s a rabbit’s or a person’s, it is a life.
