Leon sighed as he tied up his hair once again. He put on sothing not too fancy, but still classy and stylish enough. He never had the extra money to buy any designer brands or anything before, but with Michael giving him all the nice clothes he needed, he could afford to show off a bit before retuning ho.
Knock knock.
The knock on Leon's door let him know that the others were waiting for him. He quickly rounded up before joining them outside. His three summons, Michael, and Eugene, were all waiting for him.
"Shall we?" He asked, and they all nodded. They quickly left the hotel under the awed gazes of both employees and fellow custors of the hotel. Even on the street, people continued to be stunned by their looks. After all, it was quite rare to see so many handso n with such flawless skin and impeccable looks.
Ding!
The sound of the bell over the door at the entrance of gan's Diner rang and several eyes turned. Those eyes did not leave the figures of the n that had co into the diner.
The five n took their seats at a booth before Eugene spoke up. "Did you see those ard agents outside?" He asked. When they arrived at the diner, they spotted a few suited agents standing outside the diner.
"That is most likely because of what happened yesterday. It also ans that Andrew and Rowan are in here sowhere." Leon answered.
"What happened yesterday? Is it related to the matter of the Black Fangs?" Eugene was intrigued.
"Yes, that is why we even got involved. A rather influential mber of the gang was after soone who frequents this diner. So it was attacked. The man was also attacked later at night, so it seems he actually hired so people to protect him." Leon explained.
"Oh, I see." Eugene nodded.
As if on que, at that mont, the door to the kitchen of the diner swung open and the fashion and modelling duo erged. They looked around the diner once before spotting Leon and Michael. They were also surprised to see Kaladin, Nero and Grokus, however.
"Leon? Michael? I wasn't expecting to see you guys here after what happened yesterday!" Andrew quickly ca up to their table with Rowan being a bit slower.
"Haha, if that scared us, then where should we hide our faces?" Leon laughed. They were talking about the attack on the restaurant where they had celebrated the successful show yesterday, and not the attack on the diner, as none of them could rember after Michael altered their mories.
"Hold on... Leon?" Andrew suddenly paused and did a double take at Leon. He then noticed Eugene and did another double take. He could not believe his eyes. "Did you always look like this?" He asked.
"Oh, yes." Leon nodded. He held Eugene's shoulder and chose to introduce him. "This is my father, Eugene."
"Hello. A pleasure to et you." Eugene shook the two n's hands with a smile.
Ding ding ding!
Rowan's phone started ringing at that mont. He looked at the screen and sighed. Andrew took a peek and also sighed.
"Sorry, we have to get going now. We'll talk so other ti, yeah? You still have my business card, right?" Andrew asked.
"Yes, I still do." Leon nodded his head.
"Alright, see you around." Andrew shook Leon again and gave Michael a nod before he and his business partner left the diner.
"You didn't fix your face." Michael noted. Leon had co out with his real face this ti instead of adjusting it to look different.
"I know." Leon nodded. He looked around before speaking up, "I'll go into the kitchen. I need to talk to them." He stood up from his chair and walked into the kitchen without looking back.
Crash!
A tray fell down from gan's hands as she stood in front of Leon. She didn't move to pick up the ss and just kept on staring.
"You should be more careful, you know." Leon smiled and bent down to pick up the tray and the cups. Luckily, nothing had gotten broken.
"What happened?" Jas and the other boy who worked in the diner ca over.
"Hey Jas, long ti no see." Leon said as he stood up.
"Y-you...!" Jas was startled and took a step back before lunging forward and grabbing hold of gan to pull her back with him. "A ghost?!"
"Haha, I'm not a ghost." Leon said with a sad expression and looked to the side. He wasn't a ghost. He was an Undead. He looked to the other boy. "Please, can you excuse us for a mont?"
"U-um?" The boy turned to look at Jas and gan who gave a hesitant nod. "Alright." The boy quickly left the kitchen and gave the excuse that they were having a problem, so nothing would be coming out of the kitchen for a while.
"He seems to be a pretty good boy." Leon said, motioning behind him.
"L-Leon? Is that really you?" At this point, tears were running down gan's face like a stream. It was a good thing she never did makeup unless she was dressing for occasions, so her tears could not ruin her face.
"It really is ." Leon replied with a sad smile as a tear slid down his left cheek. He was trying to hold himself together, but seeing his friends crying was getting to him.
Whoosh!
Both gan and Jas wrapped Leon up in a big hug as the three of them began to cry it out. Leon made sure to put up a wind barrier to make sure nothing got out of the kitchen.
"B-but, you died!" gan wailed.
"I actually did. But I'm here to tell you what happened after. How I'm doing. I want you to know that I'm alright. You can say I ca here to make peace with you guys." Leon sighed.
"So, you're a ghost who hasn't moved on because you have unfinished business? Man, I always knew all that shit was real." Jas sniffled as he pulled back.
