The Obsidian Pool glowed brightly, its dark light a sharp contrast to the vibrant, blue glow that was emanated from the High Grade Mana Crystals. The black water bubbled violently as Leon's summons underwent fundantal changes beneath the surface.

...

Multiple blips and screens popped up as the Undead Ghost Millipedes began rounding up their race advancent. One by one, the millipedes erged from the Obsidian Pool, showcasing their increased mass, and shiny carapace that glinted under the glow of the High Grade Mana Crystal. Leon quickly pulled up the status of one of the forr Undead Ghost Millipedes.

The stats of the Undead Millipede Soldiers were all the sa. They had received so good strengthening, but it was not anything too drastic. The only major change would be their appearance, that the fact that the 'Ghost' in their race had been changed after their advancent.

After going through the stats of the forr Undead Ghost Millipedes, he turned to the forr Undead Ghost Millipede Soldiers.

"Sweet!" Leon exclaid when he saw the changes he had reaped from this expedition. With the new strength of his little army, he could cause a lot more damage to the millipede nest. That was even without accounting for Nedra, Kaladin, and himself!

"Kaladin and Nedra, you two can go in next." Leon ordered, and the two in question obliged, descending into the pool. Soon, the pool began to bubble once again.

[Your Summon, 'Kaladin', has undergone a Race Advancent!]

[Your Spirit Companion, 'Nedra', has undergone a Race Advancent!]

Before long, the notifications popped up in his vision, and the two in question erged from the pool, looking different from how they once did.

Nedra's body had undergone a change in size, and the purple marking over her pure white carapace had spread. Her two antennae were completely purple, and a purple marking that resembled a fla covered her forehead. Putting aside her many legs, she looked quite elegant with her colors.

Kaladin on the other hand did not change all too much. As his robes were a part of his person, they were what had undergone the most change. They looked much neater, and the jagged, blue lightning patterns that adorned the robes were more prominent. As his robe waved, it looked like the lightning moved as well.

"I feel great." Nedra announced as she took in the changes in her body. Leon nodded, and checked up on their status pages.

Leon's non-existent eyes sparkled when he saw the new stats of his companions. While their growth was not as exaggerated as his own, for so unknown reason, they were still strong enough in their own specialties to be able to keep up.

Nedra's growth was more all rounded, but with a single look at her Skills, Leon could imdiately tell that she was focusing on raising her ntal strength. Her skills mainly had to do with her mind, after all.

Kaladin on the other hand was leaning more towards a total stereotype of mages. His focus was on his intelligence and magic, so his other stats were lagging behind. Although, his obsidian bones helped to greatly enhance his physical attributes, health, and defense.

All in all, Leon was very satisfied with the gains he and his group had gotten from this expedition, but it was not yet over. He needed to carry out his own advancent now. He carefully stepped into the pool of dark water, subrging himself.

[A catalyst for your Race Advancent has been found. Do you want to begin the advancent?] A screen popped up before his eyes. It was just the sa as the last ti.

'Yes.' He gave the ntal confirmation, and his body imdiately felt stuff and hot.

Just like the last ti, he was able to track the changes that were happening to his body for so ti, but at a certain point, everything just went blank, and his mind basically just switched off like a switch.

Before he lost his cognition, he was able to vaguely follow the changes that was happening to his body. He could feel the way his solid bones 'twisted' according to the whims of the Obsidian Pool. It was strange, but there was little he could do about it. There was little he could glean from this process, though.

[Race Advancent process has been completed.]

The screen that blinked into existence before Leon's eyes snapped him awake from his daze. His quickly erged from the water, subconsciously opening his mouth to take in a deep breath. He felt like his entire body had been set on fire, filled with energy and strength that he had never known he could feel.

'Amazing...' He thought and held up his hands to his face level. His bones looked more smooth and intricate, like they had been expertly carved and polished by a master, before being imbued with life.
