The number of A ranks that erged from the portal behind Madox almost reached ten! Fifteen A ranks stood behind Madox, staring down the defenders, while a swarm of gargoyles that numbered in the thousands rushed out of the portal behind them.

The faces of the defenders turned grim upon seeing this. Their numbers in A rank lagged behind the enemy's greatly. They were greatly outnumbered, and knew the battle ahead would be a tough one.

A tense mont passed before the space behind Richard suddenly flashed with white light. Three people teleported behind him, but the silver haired Werewolf did not turn back, as if he had been expecting it.

Leon turned to look, and realized that one of the three people was familiar to him. Kevin, the man who had tried recruiting him along with Richard, had appeared with two people behind him. The auras of A ranks radiated off their bodies, with Kevin radiating a Mid A rank aura.

"You're late." Richard said with a straight face.

"Sorry, it took a lot more ti to convince Eugene to co." Kevin shook his head and used his thumb to point at a man behind him. The man looked to be in his late twenties but had not let himself look his age. His eyes were bright, and his face was neat, with only a little smudge of white hair on his chin. His white hair was just as eye catching as his pale silver eyes.

Beside Eugene stood a woman earing tight fitting leather clothing. Her eyes were harsh as she glared at Madox up above, but she remained silent. Her na was Sienna, and she was a close combat fighter who preferred to use her fists in a fight. Already, she was thinking of how she could beat in the faces of the Demons.

While the three new people arrived, the gargoyles did not stop pouring out of the portal. Gargoyles were high level demonic beasts, not actual Demons. They were just monsters with high intelligence in most cases. Just like how Leon was considered a monster, but was able to think and act like a normal person.

In a few monts, thousands of gargoyles had filled the sky. They ranged from High C rank to Peak B rank, and their numbers were enough to give any army a run for their money.

However, the weaker gargoyles were not the reason why the coming battle was sothing that looked bleak. It was the power of the A rank attackers that truly made this army terrifying!

Madox gave off the aura of a Peak A rank!

Behind him, eight other A ranks gave off Mid A rank auras, while the rest were Low A ranks.

A tense mont passed as everyone sized each other up.

Leonidas was the first to make a move. With a flap of his robes, he shot up into the air, leaving the majestic robes that covered his light armor behind. Gold glead in the cold sunlight as the wolf-like emperor appeared before the grin bearing Madox.

Boom!

Leonidas' fist ca against Madox's fist and the two of them rapidly exchanged blows at a pace even Leon could not follow. The air exploded, and fire blood around them as the two of them also used magic to boost their attacks.

Taking the example of the two strongest people present, everyone else exploded into action. Leon's army of summons leapt up to clash against the flying gargoyle army, while the A ranks moved against their counterparts.

Two Mid A rank Demons and one Low A rank gargoyle moved to hold back Rhys, while the other Mid A rank Demons spread themselves to take care of the Mid A ranks on the side of the defenders.

Rhys had a glum look on his face as he faced off against three opponents. He had gladly bullied Viktor earlier because there was no way that Viktor could cross the gap in their power and trump his highly unusual abilities. But now, not only did he have to fight against three A ranks, but two of them were even on his sa level.

"I know a bit about you. You are the one who has the Reality Warping powers. Blessed by a God at a young age." The female Demon who took the lead among the three that had co to suppress Rhys said with a smirk on her face. She was skimpily clothed, and her cleavage was very eye catching. Instead of hair, a multitude of purple tentacle-like fleshy masses covered her head.

"I also know of you. Queen of the Night, Noir." Rhys said in a clipped tone.

Noir chuckled with a smile and licked her lips before her body blurred. She appeared in front of Rhys with her leg snapping down.

Red light shone from Rhys' body and the figure of the Low A rank gargoyle was replaced with Rhys, making him get kicked by Noir instead.

"Argh!" The gargoyle slamd into the ground, where he was imdiately sward by dozens of Leon's summons.

Boom!

With an explosion of fire and earth, the two innate elents of gargoyles, the low A rank gargoyle shot out of the crater it had created when it slamd into the ground. Cracks ran across its rock-like skin as it shot toward Rhys with its fist cocked back. Dark red fire covered its fist, and just as it was about to punch Rhys' face, the air around Rhys turned wavy and glass-like. A reflection of the Low A rank gargoyle appeared, and the two of them exchanged punches, leading to a massive explosion that sent the Low A rank spiraling away in shock.

"Don't attack him blindly, fool!" Noir's voice shook the air as she clashed directly with Rhys. Through a strange way, she was able to fight him in a more direct manner, but she was still having trouble. Luckily, she had the backup of the other Mid A rank Demon to help her contain Rhys, or else she might have been in a lot more trouble.
