Chapter 840: Chapter 494: Final Battle (Part 2)

Was that malice just an illusion?

The unexpected event ca too quickly, too suddenly.

Everything felt like a dream.

Colin realized what was happening, but also didn’t fully react.

Swish!

Swish swish swish!

Suddenly, the Supre Councilors appeared beside Colin.

Seven Supre Councilors, including Batalov, who hadn’t fully recovered, suddenly descended to Colin’s side.

By the window of the Wizard Tower’s study, the smiles on the faces of Shelley and Lillian gradually disappeared.

Watching this grand scene, they had a vague sense of what it signified.

Without many words, the two flew towards Colin simultaneously.

“What happened?” they asked in unison.

Batalov, standing nearby, replied first:

“The Divines have descended. They have sohow managed to damage the World Barrier at the farthest north of the Extre North. They’ll likely be here in a mont.”

His voice was sowhat weak, but his tone was upbeat.

“Don’t worry, leave it to us,” Batalov continued.

He gave a slight smile to the stunned Shelley and Lillian, then turned to Colin and said, “You all stay here.”

“Those Divines cannot get in; they will be sealed again just like a thousand years ago.”

Batalov’s tone was calm.

But Colin felt a slight blockage in his heart.

He understood Batalov’s aning.

The seven Supre Councilors in front of him clearly intended to sacrifice themselves to seal the Divines once more, just like the Supre Councilors who sacrificed themselves a thousand years ago.

Batalov patted him on the shoulder, ready to leave.

Colin was silent for a mont before pulling out a crystal to issue a summoning order to the Fourth Rank Wizards of the Siya Continent, and then said solemnly to the Supre Councilors, “Even when hunting a rabbit, a lion uses all its strength. I’ll bring all the Fourth Rank Wizards with you.”

“No need, you are the hope of the Wizard Clan’s future,” Batalov waved his hand, pointing to Shelley and Lillian, “Spend more ti with them.”

As Supre Councilors, they had long been prepared for this day, and Ludas’s confidence stemd from it as well.

If the golden Solid Wall were to break, they could buy the Wizards at least several hundred, even thousands of years…

This was all they could do, leaving the rest to the Miracle Lord before them.

The seven Supre Councilors smiled for the last ti before gradually disappearing.

Fused with the world’s will, they could, if necessary, appear anywhere in the world, just like the world’s will itself.

This was why they could still enter the Star Realm after the golden Solid Wall was built.

Colin’s expression was steady; he did not intend to follow Batalov’s advice.

As the Miracle Lord, he had his judgnts.

“I’ll go with you,” Shelley said, understanding the look on his face.

Colin instinctively shook his head.

“You said you would take all the Fourth Rank Wizards with you!”

“That doesn’t include you,” Colin said solemnly.

In the face of Divines, not just one Divine, he wasn’t confident he could protect Shelley’s safety… nor was he confident he wouldn’t be distracted by caring for Shelley.

Shelley had to stay behind so he could perform at his strongest.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be fine,” Colin comforted, “Besides, you need to take care of Lillian.”

In ten years, Lillian had beco a Third Rank Wizard with his help but was still quite far from the Fourth Rank.

With this said, Colin already saw Fourth Rank Wizards from Graham City flying towards the northern Extre North in the distance.

The content of his summoning was for all the Fourth Rank Wizards to imdiately head to the farthest north of the Extre North.

“I’m leaving, wait for my return.”

Not delaying any longer, Colin gave Shelley and Lillian a final hug, then hurriedly left.

Shelley and Lillian stood in place.

It was still morning, the weather in Graham City was clear, and the bright sunshine continued to shine, everything seed unchanged.

Yet they clearly felt that the golden sunlight seed to grow cold.

The weather in the Extre North has always been known for being unpredictable.

Less than ten kiloters from Graham City, the sunlight disappeared, replaced by heavy leaden clouds and falling cold snowflakes.

Colin joined with over a dozen Fourth Rank Wizards from Graham City, flying forward together.

No one spoke; everyone was digesting the news they had just received from Colin.

It was sudden, but this was the reality; the Divines would not give you ti to prepare, nor politely warn you before they attacked.

This was a life-or-death war.

Soon.

Colin and his party arrived at the farthest northern point of the Extre North.

The seven Supre Councilors were standing quietly there; in front of them in mid-air, the space revealed faintly visible broken scars, densely connected, resembling a spider web.

“You still ca,” Batalov turned to look at him.

Crack.

A crisp sound as if glass breaking suddenly echoed from the World Barrier ahead.

“It’s about ti,” Ludas said nearby.

“Looks like I don’t have ti to talk with you anymore,” Batalov smiled, paused, and finally said to Colin, “The future of the Wizards is in your hands.”

As soon as he finished speaking.

Crack.

Crack crack crack—

The consecutive sounds of shattering erupted from the World Barrier in front, and black fissures appeared one after another, connecting to each other, finally collapsing into a gigantic passage!
