"It’s Your Excellency..." Chris was stunned.
Johnson was born into the Carn Family, a prominent family of the Yista School, and important mbers of such a family generally have so safety asures to protect themselves or for revenge.
However, the Yanan World is filled with tainted babbling, which greatly interferes with various forms of communication, so after Johnson’s death, that Spiritual Light would first be transmitted to the nearest hub, and then through the hall to the Carn Family.
Generally speaking, these hubs are located in big cities and would have a Wizard on duty.
Leo City is a large wizard city located between Tilai and Neustadt, and Chris is the Fourth Rank Wizard stationed in Leo City.
After seeing the information about Johnson’s death, he rushed over imdiately and also notified the Carn Family.
Chris didn’t expect that upon arriving at the scene, the situation would be like this.
"Councilman Johnson, accompanied by four Third Rank Wizards, suddenly appeared at the Golden Barley and attempted to kill ... Everything has been recorded in this mory crystal."
Colin continued, making a copy of the mory crystal that Jennifer gave him and tossing it gently to Chris.
Chris instinctively caught it, and the crystal automatically began to project its recording.
This Fourth Rank Wizard watched the footage projected by the crystal, and his brow gradually furrowed.
Although Johnson didn’t state it explicitly, he obviously didn’t obtain a warrant from the Supre Council... Where did he get the nerve to act so boldly and just show up like this?!
Even though the crystal’s footage wasn’t complete, based on the content so far, this incident clearly was Johnson’s own fault...
Chris held the crystal, the projection had ended, and he was silent for a mont, finally just saying:
"Johnson’s death should have already reached the Carn Family, and if I’m not mistaken, it should be his uncle coming—Ron Carn. A rigid and stern Fourth Rank Great Councilman."
"Thank you for the reminder," Colin said with a smile, "High altitude is cold, why don’t you join at the palace for a seat?"
Chris hesitated for a mont, but ultimately shook his head, "I’ll just wait here; His Excellency Ron should be arriving soon as well."
After speaking, he added, "Don’t worry, Your Excellency Colin, I just need to let His Excellency Ron know that I ca here at the first opportunity. Once he arrives, I will return to Leo City."
"Alright." Colin nodded slightly.
Having a Wizard like Chris willing to remain neutral was already not easy; one couldn’t ask for more.
Since Chris didn’t want to descend, Colin also did not leave, continuing to stay in the air.
As Chris had ntioned, after the two chatted off and on for a while, a Fourth Rank Wizard arrived at the Golden Barley.
"Chris, what exactly is the situation?"
Ron, dressed in a gray robe, looked like a young man, his face calm but his eyes clearly held suppressed anger.
What Johnson conveyed wasn’t any request for help, but news of death.
His nephew, a Third Rank Wizard, a backbone of the Carn Family... just suddenly died like that!
Chris glanced at Colin and said to Ron, "I also just arrived not long ago. For the specifics, you might inquire more efficiently with His Excellency Colin."
Ron slightly frowned, while Chris maintained a calm expression and said no more.
Though Ron was indeed stronger than him, being Wizards from top families, Chris wasn’t afraid of Ron.
"What happened with Johnson, Your Excellency will know from the crystal." Colin tossed a copy of the mory crystal to Ron as well.
Ron only then took a closer look at Colin, suspiciously saying, "You’ve advanced to a Fourth Rank Wizard?"
"Gained so insights beyond the Solid Wall, luckily breaking through," Colin calmly answered, looking at Ron with a bit of doubt.
Judging from Ron’s current appearance, he seed unaware of Johnson’s actions?
As Colin thought, Ron indeed didn’t know that Johnson would do such a thing, and his face beca increasingly grim as he watched the crystal.
"Rubbish! How dare you brazenly act with the family’s four enshrined!"
When Ron saw Johnson actually choose to attack Colin directly, his expression beca even more unpleasant!
A mont later, the projection ended, and Ron understood the course of events.
He slowly turned his gaze to Colin, coldly saying, "No matter what, since you dared to kill a Wizard of the Carn Family, you must have been ready to face the consequences."
As he spoke, Ron’s Magic Power began to surge.
Colin remained silent, his expression still calm.
The current outco was not beyond his expectations; it would inevitably require a battle to see the truth at hand.
Red Energy began to surge; Colin prepared for battle, too.
"I know you, Colin." Ron wasn’t in a hurry to attack but instead spoke,
"I didn’t expect that in such a short ti, you’ve advanced from Third Rank to Fourth Rank.
This level of talent would rank at least third among all the geniuses I’ve t."
He looked at Colin, calmly saying, "The Wizard Clan is in a precarious state, I will not kill you."
"But since you killed Johnson, you owe the Carn Family an explanation, be prepared to fight !"
Colin was slightly taken aback, looking at Ron with so surprise.
He had initially thought that as a fellow Carn Family Wizard, Ron would not differ significantly from Johnson, but now he seed entirely different from what he had imagined.
