"Try to familiarize yourself as much as possible with the process of constructing the Transmission Array Pillars; I’ll co back to inform you before the mission starts," Mill advised them one last ti, then turned and hurriedly left the basent.

The basent once again fell silent.

Yeats glanced at Lance a few tis, seemingly with sothing to say, but after weighing the matter for a mont, he ultimately kept his silence.

It was the usually reticent Jacqueline who suddenly spoke, "Excuse my straightforwardness, Lord Lance, but I must ask what your relation is to the Wizard from your School who had once sided with the Divine?"

Lance stiffened slightly, his face showing a complex expression. He looked at Jacqueline and sighed, "I do indeed know that Wizard; after all, we are from the sa School, but it’s true that I’m not well-acquainted with him."

After taking a breath, Lance continued in a somber tone, "I understand your concerns, but I am indeed not that kind of person. Death is certainly frightening, but living in this world, there are always things that are more terrifying than death, always so deeds that I would not do, even in the face of death!"

Jacqueline looked at him seriously, then suddenly placed a hand over her chest and bowed, "My apologies."

"Those are nice words; I hope that when the ti cos, what you do will indeed match what you say!"

Yet it was Yeats who suddenly spoke with a cold voice.

Even soone as mild-mannered as Lance now felt so anger. His eyes turned sharp as he raised his voice, "When the ti cos, it will indeed be so!"

Yeats snorted but did not continue the conversation, only saying to himself,

"The island I once lived on is called Hoy, a large and widely known island guarded by several Fourth Rank Wizards.

Even Divine invasions would not leave us utterly powerless!"

"However, during the true crisis of a Divine invasion, only I managed to escape with the help of my ntor among the High Rank Wizards."

Yeats’s eyes were downcast, hiding the indescribable complexity in his expression, as he continued,

"The reason it ca to that was because a Fourth Rank Wizard, out of fear of death, betrayed the island..."

It seed that recalling such sorrowful mories caused Yeats’s voice to gradually lower, until he fell silent.

Lance opened his mouth as if to say sothing, but in the end all he could muster was, "You’ll see what I will do when the ti cos."

Then, he closed his mouth and said no more.

"There are only a few hours left before we join forces and head behind the Divine fronts to carry out an important mission," Ryden slowly stood up, surveying the surroundings with a grave tone,

"If there are doubts now, it’s not harmful to speak up in advance, in fact, it may be beneficial."

"But when it cos ti to carry out the mission, I hope everyone can put aside their past grievances, trust each other, and complete this important mission together!"

"What Lord Ryden says is extrely true," Colin was the first to echo in agreent. He looked at Lance and the others, paused, and then added, "Besides, those supposed gaps don’t really exist."

Hearing this, Lance’s expression brightened sowhat, and he nodded in agreent, "Of course, the mission is always the most important."

Jacqueline nodded, casting a sowhat apologetic glance at Lance.

The latter shook his head silently, his face still showing so gloom.

Yeats, naturally, had no counterargunts to Ryden’s words and also nodded slightly.

After a mont of hesitation, perhaps in an effort to lighten the mood, Jacqueline asked, "Lord Yeats, what happened to the Wizard who betrayed the Hoy island?"

Yeats didn’t answer, but it was Ryden who spoke up, "He is now the Pope of Gold and Molten Rock."

"I see..." Jacqueline was taken aback.

"Just a puppet who has lost their own consciousness, the Wizards will sooner or later strike him down!" Ryden said in a stern voice.

Yeats remained silent, rely holding the crystal in his hand and continuing to familiarize himself with the process of building the Transmission Array Pillars.

In the basent, the Wizards ceased their conversation.

Colin sat quietly at his spot, his attention gradually shifting towards the mission they were soon to execute.

In the basent, the Bright Crystal continued to emit a steady and soft white light, and the Wizards sat quietly in their places.

The whole scene seed to pause, frozen in ti.

However, ti was still quietly passing by.

After an unknown length of ti, Mill’s figure quietly appeared in the basent.

The Wizards all opened their eyes and looked at the gentle Witch, their expressions unavoidably tense and somber.

’It’s finally ti to carry out the mission,’ Colin exhaled silently, his heartbeat accelerating inexplicably—nervous yet filled with anticipation.

Behind the podium, Mill didn’t waste words but spoke solemnly,

"The mission starts now, follow ."

The Wizards promptly stood up, Colin clearly heard Yeats beside him take a heavier breath, and Jacqueline did the sa, lightly biting her lower lip.

After Mill spoke, she led the way out, with the Wizards closely following her like a long dragon.

Exiting the basent and walking along the corridor on the subterranean first floor to the staircase, Mill waved her hand to dispel the enchantnt on the second subterranean level, leading them down and finally arriving at a level of the basent Colin and the others had never been to.

As Colin had initially thought, this place stored the core of Clara Castle’s Witch Array, but next to the core, there was also a rudintary Transmission Array.

Mill stopped in front of the Transmission Array, turned around, and surveyed the gathered Wizards.

After a mont, she suddenly smiled, "There’s no need to be so tense."
