And that huge white flower bud in the center also turned orange.

At the sa ti, a new floral fragrance was carried over, bringing Colin new sensations.

Thus, the flowers in the pond blossod seven tis in total—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple, exactly the colors of the rainbow.

The white flower in the center also changed colors seven tis, and the fragrance grew richer each ti.

From the cool early morning to the scorching afternoon, and then to the chilly deep night... Each ti the fragrance ca, it brought different feelings.

"Flowers blooming like a rainbow, truly living up to their reputation!" A wizard nearby whispered admiringly, though it couldn’t bring any substantial enhancent to the soul, this magical experience was rare indeed.

"It’s not over yet! Or rather... it has just begun!"

"The king flower is about to bloom!"

Another voice joined in.

Colin focused his gaze on the huge flower bud in the center of the pond.

Unknown to him, the purple-hued bud slowly faded in color, returning to white.

Then... Colin couldn’t help but frown slightly.

The surrounding flowers began to wilt, starting with the red ones, one by one they perished, leaving behind a scene of withered branches and leaves in an instant.

The floral scent also disappeared, and the stench of the pond’s brown silt, no longer masked, quietly wafted out.

Although this silt wasn’t exactly foul-slling, the contrast with the previously fragrant atmosphere was too stark, many wizards around instinctively covered their noses.

But the wizards sitting in the front were staring intently at the pond, anticipation in their eyes.

The flowers in the pond wilted far faster than they blood, and in just a mont, the last purple flower began to wither.

Its petals fell, landing in the pond, and quickly lost their vibrant color, blending indistinguishably with the silt, as the branches also began to rot and break...

Finally, only the massive white flower bud remained in the pond.

Against the backdrop of the silt from the wilted flowers, it appeared so white, almost as if it were glowing.

Rustle...

Finally, the white flower bud slowly unfolded, and as the petals just started to show through the gaps, the previously vanished fragrance returned!

And it was a blend of seven fragrances interwoven together, layer upon layer, bringing yet another new experience.

Then, Colin was taken aback.

A frail-looking girl was seen slowly standing up from within the white flower, her skin pale, with only a colorful petal on her forehead, bare of anything else.

"The king flower has awakened; everyone can start bidding now."

"Forget it, the strength of that king flower is equivalent to a First Rank Wizard, the price is high, it’s not for us to covet."

"Sigh, if only I had the money, the king flower is not only strong but also good-looking. Although entirely bare, it’s at least a feast for the eyes."

"Give it a rest, the king flower doesn’t have a gender, and the original king flowers didn’t look like this. It’s all a creation of witchcraft, fake, not interesting!"

The crowd around was noisy non-stop, and so wizards in the back, unable to clearly see the front, squeezed forward upon hearing about the ergence of the king flower.

Standing at the forefront, Colin involuntarily took a few steps forward, then paused and gazed at the distant king flower, touching his chin.

It wasn’t for anything else but what he saw made him think... the principle behind that king flower seed very similar to his own "Elental Shadow"...

Just then, a screen of light suddenly descended swiftly from above, and Colin almost instinctively stepped forward again.

Swoosh!

The light screen completely descended, twisting into a Protective Shield that precisely enveloped the pond and the adjacent seats, along with... himself.

At that mont, Colin realized the predicant—perhaps he should have chosen to step back?

But the light screen dropped too swiftly, and only because of his Knight Cultivation was he able to dodge at the last mont... He looked back, and those wizards standing on the sa line as him were unscathed, having obviously moved a few steps back, probably repelled by the light screen.

"Who are you! How did you get in?!"

Two wizards ca toward him, their presence fierce.

Colin pressed his forehead, preparing to take out his Councilman Badge to explain.

"Let him co over, he’s my friend!"

A voice suddenly intervened.

Following the voice, Colin saw a young Male Wizard with dium-length brown hair, his face lazy and his actions slightly reckless, currently looking at him with interest.

"It’s... Councilman Andy." The wizards maintaining order, upon hearing his voice, imdiately stopped, turned their heads respectfully, and then walked Colin over.

"Do you know ?" Colin asked curiously as he approached Andy.

"Do you know ?" Andy replied with a smile.

Colin shook his head.

"Neither do I know you." Andy’s smile brightened even more.

Colin didn’t ask further, just nodded and then continued to look towards the king flower not far off.

He was already quite interested in this king flower, and though he accidentally walked in, he had intended to stay to observe by leveraging his clearance as a councilman.

Though that still proved to be inconvenient...

Unexpectedly, this wizard nad Andy suddenly spoke up, solving quite a bit of trouble for him.

"Since I’ve cleared things up for you, tell how you broke through the defensive light screen?" Andy pressed.

"Maybe you won’t believe it, but I walked in," Colin replied earnestly after a pause.

"You walked in?"

"Yes, before the light screen ford."

"Interesting..."

Andy, not expecting Colin’s answer to be so straightforward, was slightly taken aback and then laughed heartily, turning his head to look at the king flower in the pond again.
