Chapter 701: Chapter 434: The World’s Favor
After a blurring of vision, the familiar sea of clouds and the grandiose hall replaced the dim secret room before his eyes.
Colin stepped into it.
The vague figures of six Supre Counciln also quietly erged.
“I pay my respects to all the Supre Counciln,” Colin bowed.
“Good morning, Councilman Colin,” a barely perceptible fluctuation passed, and the blurry forms of the six Supre Counciln seed to co alive a bit. The Councilman in the middle, to the left, who also spoke most often, slowly said,
“This ti, we have summoned you here not only to give you the Divine Blood but also to conduct a ritual with you.”
A ritual… Colin looked up in confusion, only to be startled to see all six Supre Counciln simultaneously standing up and slowly walking towards him!
“Do not be afraid, child,” it was still the middle-left Supre Councilman speaking.
This ti his voice lost its grandiose indifference, sounding especially vivid and clear… From the sound of it, it was like a kind, ordinary old man.
Colin steadied his heart and stood calmly in place.
“Do you rember we once told you that you are a person favored by the world?”
All six Supre Counciln spoke at once, their voices male and female, old and young, lodious mingled with roughness, childishness contained within the aged, like bells and drums echoing in the grand hall, ceaselessly resounding.
“I rember,” Colin replied with so difficulty, struggling to raise his head.
Under such grand voices, his vision began to blur, everything in front of him rapidly receding—the polished dull white floor tiles, the carved tall columns, the Supre Counciln in front of him… Everything stretched so quickly, turning into a jumbled flow of light in the blink of an eye.
Before completely losing consciousness, Colin heard the Counciln’s final words:
“It is good you rember, what you are about to see next is the world…”
…
‘Where is this…’
There was no light, no wind, he even couldn’t feel gravity; Colin slowly opened his eyes, yet what he saw was a void.
He tried to swing his arms but suddenly realized—he couldn’t feel his arms.
Trying to move his feet felt equally void.
Not only was there no sight, but hearing, touch, and even the perception of his body all disappeared, leaving only his consciousness amidst chaos.
However, Colin, in such a situation, didn’t feel the slightest panic or fear, wrapped in a warm power.
With a peaceful heart, he looked behind.
…
How to describe the scene “seen”?
When Colin turned to look behind, an endless flood of light, like flowing water, filled the entire “view,” seizing all his mind in an instant.
The light was indistinct in color, seemingly white, yet seemingly multicolored.
And as he strained to discern specific colors, all light suddenly vanished… leaving only a sphere of light.
A light sphere… unimaginably grand!
On its constantly flowing surface, Colin seed to see the consciousness of all beings in the Yanan World, not only humans, Demon Beasts, but even mountains and plants…
And most notably, six thin rays of light spread out from above the sphere, each connected to a dim point of light.
Buzz—
Before Colin could figure out what those six light spots represented, the sphere of light in front of him suddenly trembled, and an unusual sensation enveloped him instantly.
It was as though, in the tranquil night, his wife was whispering softly into his ear, or as if an old monk in a mountain temple was striking a wooden fish while preaching… Colin’s consciousness quickly beca hazy.
Cloud Hall.
Bright sunlight shone upon it, and the sea of clouds churned below.
In the empty council chamber, Colin rubbed his head and sat up in confusion.
“What happened to ?”
He looked to his left, where a transparent, diamond-shaped crystal bottle stood quietly, containing a crystal-clear red liquid with tiny specks of gold appearing intermittently, quite magnificent.
Colin picked up the crystal bottle, and a piece of information simultaneously transmitted into his mind.
“This is… Divine Blood, use one drop every three days… Yes, I ca to the Cloud Hall to collect Divine Blood, then the Supre Councilman approached , and then… they asked if I still rembered the initial praise… What I’m going to see next is the world…”
Colin struggled to think, his mory swiftly recovering. He recalled that sense of void and chaos, and the unique warmth that enveloped him.
“Was that… the World Perception of the Yanan World?” he thought uncertainly, “And those six light spots, do they represent the six Supre Counciln?
Are there only six light spots… It seems like there are so lines of light extending below.”
“What happened next… what happened after that?”
Colin furrowed his brows; he found that no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t rember what exactly happened after the sphere of light trembled… it seed like he had so sort of conversation with it?
This was an experience he had never had before after obtaining Superbrain…
After standing quietly in Cloud Hall for a long ti, Colin eventually shook his head and returned to the council hall in Neustadt City.
After returning to the secret room where the Transmission Array was located, Colin, with a thought, summoned the Golden Paper.
Reading quickly, line by line, Colin suddenly froze.
In the column for Exotic Skill, the character for Anando’s Dice slowly beca blurry, then condensed into a new line of small text—World Perception.
This truly unique Exotic Skill, when first acquired, was completely baffling. In the days that followed, Colin had attempted more than once to inquire about information concerning Exotic Skills.
But he had always co up empty, never able to find any information about Exotic Skills.
Until now, his limited understanding of Anando’s Dice and Exotic Skills all ca from the information that had been transmitted to him at the ti he acquired Anando’s Dice.
As Colin pondered this… the black characters of World Perception in the Exotic Skill column completely ford, and a piece of information simultaneously appeared in his mind—
“World Perception: A capability bestowed by the favor of the world, able to sense weather, natural disasters, treasures… and even the malice in people’s hearts.
Note: Subject to interference by Divine Power.”
After carefully digesting the incoming information, Colin was startled. To detect weather disasters, treasures, and even the malice in people’s hearts?
Such an ability was overwhelmingly potent… he couldn’t help but break into a smile.
And with that, a speculation also erged in his mind—
It seed that Exotic Skills were probably inseparably linked to the World Perception.
The secret chamber of the Transmission Array was not a place to linger. After briefly inspecting himself and ensuring there were no other abnormalities, Colin left the room and headed toward Nois’s study.
He planned to say goodbye to Nois before returning.
However, when he confidently made his way to Nois’s study, he subconsciously furrowed his brows; in the study room, besides him, there was another familiar person—Nickler, the elder of the Tate Family.
