Chapter 659: Chapter 413 Becoming the Supre Councilman_3

But now, as he lifted his head, he suddenly felt uncertain about the beliefs he had always held firm.

Above the sky was not the pitch-black universe and various celestial bodies.

Instead, there was a deep blackness, as pristine and rich as the night, like the finest velvet curtain, on which Colin found not a single flaw.

“What is above us? Why can we not see the sun and moon?”

His shock drove him to blurt out the question subconsciously.

“Above is the Sub-star Realm, also known as the Chaos Gap Realm, the crevice between the Star Realm and the Main Plane that we inhabit.”

Chaos Gap Realm… Colin felt a surge of perplexity.

“Let’s go, we should enter first,” Nois urged.

Colin could only suppress his curiosity and move forward.

They were standing on an elevated platform, with a huge square Council Hall in front of them.

The Council Hall was imnsely large, with twelve thick white pillars supporting a square do adorned with various exquisite murals, and at the front was a raised dais with six chairs.

As Colin and his companion entered, a soft glow lit up the six chairs, one after another, followed by the appearance of six indistinct figures.

“Greetings, Supre Council mbers,” Nois said with respect, bowing deeply, and Colin followed suit with a bow of his own.

“Is this the new Councilman you nominated by yourself?” a voice inquired slowly.

“Yes, he is that Heroic Wizard,” Nois said solemnly.

To beco a mber of the Supre Council, one needed not only to contribute to the Wizards and et the power requirents but also the recomndation of at least three Council mbers.

But as Nois Tate, he was not like an ordinary Councilman; he had the power to independently nominate a new Councilman.

“We have already reviewed the application you sent earlier, but we must still ask you now, are you sure you want to use the Nois family’s once-in-a-century independent nomination right to nominate this Wizard?”

“I am sure,” Nois nodded decisively.

He had not ntioned this to anyone, for he knew if he did, the family elders would certainly have obstructed his decision.

But compared to using this century’s nomination right to recomnd an ordinary, Pureblood Family-born Wizard with a glossy resu and Third Rank abilities, he much preferred to give this opportunity to Colin.

“Then let us begin,” the Supre Council mbers said no more and started to question Colin:

“Power level?”

“Second Rank Advanced,” Colin replied with a solemn expression and calm deanor.

He knew this was an unparalleled, skyward opportunity for himself as a Half-blood Wizard, and he would strive for it with all his might, but if it did not work out, he would accept it with grace.

Yet, as Nois had ntioned earlier in the secret chamber, the whole process was surprisingly smooth. After recounting his accomplishnts and actual combat abilities, he successfully gained the recognition of the six Supre Council mbers.

The six Supre Council mbers seed very busy, and after the review, their figures slowly dissipated.

Colin rose from the ground; the Supre Council mbers were only there for the review, and the subsequent specifics, such as receiving the badge and uniform and the ceremony of becoming a Council mber, would all take place on a later date chosen.

“Congratulations on becoming a Supre Council mber,” Nois said with a hearty laugh.

“Thank you, and I am grateful for your willingness to nominate as a Councilman, Lord Nois,” Colin responded earnestly.

Though he had already expressed his gratitude in the secret chamber, Nois had not told him then that this was an opportunity arising from using the once-in-a-century nomination right.

Without much thought, Colin knew the enormous pressure Nois would face afterward.

As for the pressure he might face?

The mont he had resolved to take this position, he had been ready in his heart.

“Although the Supre Council mbers have departed, there is still one final step,” Nois said, patting his shoulder with a solemn face.

“Co, let show you the truth of this world.”
