Nois glanced at the shattered altar and the gradually fading golden light effects, his back breaking out in a cold sweat.

“It’s not over yet,” Silvester said solemnly.

The golden light which was about to fade suddenly shot out several sharp golden lightning bolts, linking instantly to Basel and the other two.

The three scread in unison, their bodies visibly shriveling at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Silvester and Nois intervened together.
Nois’s powerful attack hit the golden light first, causing the link of the lightning to flicker erratically.
Then Silvester took the opportunity to sever the link completely, and the dense light suddenly swelled, the Divine presence enveloping like a tide.
However, Nois and Silvester remained composed and continued their assault.
Finally, the golden light from the Sourceless Water completely dissipated under their combined attacks.
“Was that… the Lord of Gold and Molten Rock?”
After the golden light had completely vanished, Nois asked uncertainly in a low voice.
“Indeed, that oppressive aura and domineering style can only belong to Him,” Silvester nodded slightly, his eyes still reflecting so lingering fear.
With the authority of this Divine being, had it successfully descended, the Magic Energy Ore Veins would have transford into sulfur-scented gold in just a few days.
“Cough…cough…” Basel coughed violently, propping himself up with his shriveled forearm, and looked at Silvester incredulously.
He recognized this Fourth Rank Wizard; wasn’t he supposed to be in Roon Kingdom dealing with the cave monsters?
Why was he here now?
Could it be that Xize was exposed?
But that’s impossible, the strongest Wizard in Roon Kingdom was rely Second Rank, who had been dealt with in advance… Who else could contend with Xize, a Third Rank?
Even if soone could, how would they reveal their sches in Neustadt City?
“The Adams Family betrays the Wizards. Have you considered the consequences?” At this mont, Nois approached and asked coldly.
Basel’s heart could no longer hold onto the doubts, replaced now by fear. He remained silent, his head lowered as sweat dripped from his forehead down his nose.
Seeing this, Nois did not press further but simply waved his hand to seize the surviving three, then turned back to thank Silvester:

With most of the garrison forces having gone to support the frontlines, Neustadt City’s defenses were severely depleted. Since many Wizards had left, Nois had remained vigilantly within the Sky Tower over Neustadt, monitoring for any potential dangers.
Every asure, especially those detecting high-energy reactions, was maximized due to his concern over potential threats.
Later, when Silvester had initially co seeking support during the first wave of cave monsters, he hadn’t left the Sky Tower at all. Had it been a usual monster wave, he would have already gone to the Roon Kingdom with Silvester…
Yet he’d never imagined the crisis would arise from within the city, freshly cleansed from traitors.
Fortunately, Nois had high trust in Silvester. Although surprised, he imdiately began to inspect for dangers within the city.
Luckily, they were able to resolve this crisis at the last mont, with minimal cost.
“I will report this incident to the Supre Council, resolving this crisis all thanks to your efforts,” Nois continued and then paused, ticulously checking the surroundings while curiously asking:
“Speaking of which, how did you co to realize the Adams Family had betrayed the Wizards?”
“It wasn’t who found out,” Silvester shook his head.
Nois looked puzzled.
“The Adams Family betrayed the Wizards, discovered by a stationed Wizard in Roon Kingdom. Before I arrived in Roon Kingdom, he had already killed a Second Rank Adams Wizard, captured two First Rank Wizards, and also defeated an Adams Third Rank Wizard, leaving only his True Spirit before capturing him.”
“Regrettably, by the ti I arrived, that Third Rank Wizard had already dissolved his own True Spirit voluntarily, leaving us unable to interrogate him further.

Silvester and Nois checked the surroundings while he slowly narrated.
Although Xize had fallen into Colin’s hands, he never anticipated that there would be a way within Roon Kingdom to contact Neustadt City imdiately, so he still harbored so hope… But upon seeing Silvester arrive, that sliver of hope shattered, leaving only despair.
“The stationed Wizard in Roon Kingdom is that strong?” Nois was stunned, “I rember the strongest Wizard in the current Roon Family being only Second Rank, nad Erwin, and I seem to have heard not long ago that he mysteriously disappeared… Aren’t the rest of the stationed Wizards just First Rank?”
