Chapter 636: Chapter 404: Turbulence (Happy Chinese New Year’s Eve!!)_3

“As for his senior sister, she can’t stay in the Roon Kingdom much longer; there’s no need to worry about her,”

“What about the Chasai Comrce, what sort of background do they have?”

“… It’s a comrce that has developed from outside, with its foundation in rredith City.”

“A comrce from rredith City? There’s no need to bother with it for the ti being, a profit-seeking comrce won’t affect our plans.”

Com slowly stood up, walked to the window, and squinted his eyes as he watched the bustling Golden Barley.

“The ti is not yet ripe. Keep a low profile during this period, and do not provoke anyone! Furthermore… we need to present an attitude of investigation into Erwin’s disappearance without revealing flaws.”

“Yes!” Antoine and his companion nodded solemnly, then stood up and pretended to go out and investigate.

Com did not continue to stay in the room, but went out with Antoine and his companion.

Although they had erased all the information left by Erwin and those First Rank Wizards, the Roon Royal Family could not do anything to them even if they had suspicions.

But it was essential to put on a good front; the crucial day was approaching, and they couldn’t afford a slip-up now.

For ordinary stationed wizards like Colin, the mysterious disappearance of the Official Wizard from the Roon Family did not have any substantial impact on them.

Colin continued to patrol daily as scheduled, then practiced, and also enjoyed leisure ti with Shelley and Lillian.

However, this happy ti lasted only three days.

“I have to return to the School.”

That afternoon, while they were sitting in the gazebo of Colin’s villa drinking afternoon tea, Lillian suddenly raised her head and spoke with a hint of reluctance. She had received a summoning ssage from her School.

“Why would the School suddenly issue a summons?” Colin asked, puzzled. Having been with the Tin Saint School for several years, this was the first ti he had seen such a situation.

“I don’t know,” Lillian shook her head.

“It’s probably because of the war,” Shelley added abruptly.

“Does Lady Delorje know the reason?”

Lillian turned her head in surprise, but Colin was not surprised. Chasai Comrce, or rather the Truth Society’s strong intelligence capabilities, were sothing he had experienced for himself.

However… what war was Shelley talking about?

“Frontline scouts have detected signs of Divine troops gathering, seemingly in preparation for a large-scale war,” Shelley explained, then paused before adding, “Every ti there’s a war, the Supre Council orders the Schools to recall all wizards who are out if possible. Although the official order hasn’t co down yet, I guess it won’t be long before the Supre Council issues it.”

War was coming again?

Stunned, Colin and Lillian looked at each other, speechless.

“Also, there has been a sudden surge in the number of pollution creatures in Neustadt City recently, with several attacks on wizards by pollution creatures happening almost daily, causing a severe shortage of personnel among the Law Enforcent Team Wizards,” Shelley added after a mont’s thought.

“Yes, the so-called pollution creatures are beings like the Frost Phantoms, created by wizards but sohow subjected to inexplicable pollution.”

She knew this mainly because her adoptive father and ntor, Silvester, had returned to Neustadt City.

The summoning by the School was urgent, and Lillian left reluctantly soon after finishing her tea.

Shelley stayed a little longer before also leaving due to errands.

The garden was then left with only Colin.

He took a gentle sip of the tea and couldn’t help but sigh.

Outside the pavilion, the green grass was lush, the flowers blood radiantly, and colorful butterflies and busy bees flitted among them—a truly tranquil and beautiful scene.

Yet beyond this garden, the outside world was ridden with hidden currents and never-ending unrest.

Colin put down his tea, slowly stood up.

A barely perceptible shade of orange flickered in the shadows on the gray stone table, giving him an added sense of security.

‘I should continue to practice. I’ve only just transford one Fla Shadow…’

Colin shook his head and moved forward.

Ding~ Ding~ Ding.

At that mont, however, a gentle knock sounded at the door.

“Is Mister Colin available?” the familiar voice of Jennifer Lune floated in from outside.
