Chapter 586: Chapter 380: Vacation Arrives_2

“Carn looked toward Colin with a smile on his face, ‘This must be the new resident Wizard you ntioned.'”

However, if one observed his eyes carefully, they could detect an imperceptible astonishnt.

The Colin before him had a handso face, a youthful appearance, and shiny middle-length blonde hair that complented his sculpted, sharply defined features; he looked vibrant, like the rising sun.

“Sir… you are truly exceptionally handso,” Carn paused before he couldn’t help but say.

In his heart, there was another phrase he did not voice—”Different from any of the resident Wizards who had co to Roon Kingdom before.”

Wooli, standing beside them, nodded in agreent.

“Of course. Oh, by the way, I haven’t told you yet, Sir Colin here is our School’s Golden Feather Talent!”

Carn was slightly startled, suddenly understanding the vigorous energy and the calm yet confident deanor on Colin.

Wooli subconsciously glanced at Colin but then shrank back when their eyes t.

Golden Feather… how could it be Golden Feather?

He knew the Golden Feathers of the Tin Saint School, just like the Silver Rings in their own ranks, were titles bestowed upon the most talented Wizards within the School.

But why would a Golden Feather, like them, peripheral Wizards of the School, co to such a remote and barren place?

Wooli’s heart felt both shock and a strange emotion.

These Wizards, who had been forcibly assigned by the School to guard positions in Roon Kingdom, were usually peripheral figures with diocre talent and no significant background.

Once here, it wasn’t possible to return before three years, and after three years, depending on the situation, the School might assign them the sa mandatory residence tasks again.

To Wooli’s knowledge, the School Wizard who had stayed the longest in Roon Kingdom had already been there for over sixty years…

Of course, a part of it was because that Wizard had given up on advancing further and just wanted to find a place to retire.

Wooli’s face grew more somber, silently adding to himself:

‘Of course, so have said that Old Tate actually hadn’t given up on advancing further but just kept staying in Roon Kingdom, wasting his ti and becoming disillusioned in the end…’

Those, like Wooli, who had no hope of advancing to Second Rank Wizard, and had no background, often couldn’t escape such a fate.

Wooli couldn’t help but sneak a few more glances at Colin.

This talented individual, whom he would hardly have a chance to speak to in the School, how could he end up in such a plight, in the sa position as them?

Perhaps even Wooli himself hadn’t realized that, amidst his astonishnt, there was an elusive feeling of satisfaction and solace.

“Probably got himself into big trouble, but once in Roon Kingdom, no matter how good the talent, it’s going to be wasted ti…”

Next to him, Welber continued proudly, “On our way to Roon Kingdom, Sir Colin encountered…”

“The gathering is about to start, let’s find a place to sit first, everyone,” Colin couldn’t help but interject, cutting off Welber’s words.

He ca to the gathering to enjoy the music, sample the cuisine of Roon Kingdom, relieve his fatigue from studying the Knight Breathing thod, and coincidentally gather the latest news and gossip from these resident Wizards, not to boast.

Of course, the main reason was the experiences Welber wanted to boast about on his behalf felt sowhat peculiar… perhaps in the presence of these First Rank Wizards, managing to save his life from two Second Rank Wizards was indeed sothing to boast about.

But the true situation wasn’t like that, so hearing it now made Colin feel awkward.

“Right, let’s first find a seat,” Welber, realizing that Colin seed reluctant to ntion that incident, quickly shut his mouth, also coming to the realization that it wasn’t a matter to be discussed casually.

Strictly speaking, this could also be considered a scandal for Tin Saint School.

Four people found a table and sat down. Soon, an elderly man in a gray robe appeared at the front and announced with a smile,

“The gathering has begun, and as usual, I won’t—” At this point, the old wizard suddenly patted his head, scanned the crowd in front of him, and rested his eyes on Colin with a smile,

“Old age makes the mory less reliable. Today there is another matter. Though Ward has left us to return to Neustadt, at the sa ti, we have welcod a new resident wizard. Let’s welco him!”

Colin smirked inwardly, not expecting the old wizard to pull such a move.

But outwardly, he stood up calmly and smiled at the wizards.

“I’m new here, so I hope for your guidance in the future.”

“Of course, of course…”

“Certainly…”

“Unthinkable…”

The wizards in front of him were exceptionally friendly, their responses overlapping, ensuring Colin was not left in an awkward silence.

This was sowhat surprising to Colin.

“Alright, then our gathering officially begins now!” the old wizard withdrew his gaze and continued.

As his voice trailed off, a nearby band tily started playing music, and the wizards began to mingle. Beautiful maids moved among them, serving drinks.

“Has anything new happened in Neustadt recently?” Carn started a conversation with Welber.

“Nothing fresh, just a few wizards died, and so started suggesting to the Supre Council to remove the knowledge research managent regulations.” Welber shook his head and then looked at Colin:

“Speaking of managent regulations, from the days Mr. Colin arrived, you must have just coincided with the release of the managent adjustnt. Could you perhaps share more clear insights with us?”

Knowing that Welber was opening a topic for him, Colin did not decline and simply began to explain.

Thus, the four of them chatted from Neustadt to the war, and then on to which dish was tastier today.

The topics were a ss. Colin didn’t gather much useful information, but it indeed eased so fatigue and allowed him to relax.

Even Wooli, who was relatively cold towards him, remained restrained in the conversation, while Welber and Carn were continuously supportive.

During the gathering, so wizards interested in the new wizard ca over to chat.

Welber went as far as to tell everyone he was a Golden Feather.

This was sowhat annoying for Colin, but it wasn’t sothing he could comnt much on; it wasn’t information that could be hidden, and the other resident wizards would find out sooner or later anyway.

So, he just let it be.

So wizards beca more enthusiastic after learning his identity, like Carn, while others grew colder, like Wooli, but most were just surprised and then returned to normal.

Nevertheless, with his keen hearing, Colin still overheard many wizards in corners whispering about him.

The content was mostly curious about why he had co to the Roon Kingdom, with no malevolent comnts… at least not overtly.

But Colin sighed and decided to participate less in these gatherings in the future… An occasional visit to exchange so information was enough.

Half a month quickly passed.

When Colin had barely finished reading through all the Knight Breathing thod, the holiday also arrived.
