After the ga finally proceeding in the right direction, Yuki finally let out a deep, relieved sigh. He knew that the opponent's level was far lower than Tsukiji High, so the only thing preventing his team from advancing was their own arrogance. He was just relieved that they could get out of that phase as quickly as possible before things turned disastrously.

"Yuki, concentrate! Stop dozing off, the ball is coming!" Riku shouted, snapping him from his thoughts.

"Sorry, sorry! I got this!" Yuki shouted back, opening his hands to receive the ball.

He had to give the opponent a hat-off for their thoughtfulness, targeting him at all tis to reduce the possibility of a combination attack. While of course, Yuki still could rush forward for the usual quick attack, the opponent at least was sure that he would receive the end of the pass, not the one who set it up. Even though it was just a tiny detail, this could affect the entire play differently if Oyama High decided to take a different approach.

"Oh, nice receive, Yuki!"

"Everyone, get ready!"

While the three players moved simultaneously, Yuki decided to stay back and observed the opponent's movent. The opponent's line of blockers perford really well today, contributing about half the total points of their team. That didn't count the amount of deflection they made over Tsunemori's attack, so right now, Yuki was wary of a hard block coming from the other side of the court.

'Let's see… Their captain is always one step faster than our player, so his instinct is top-notch. I need to react faster than him if I want to have a chance, like… Now!'

BAM!

The ball Ogawa tried to spike unfortunately only t the opponent's wall again. However, this ti, Yuki reacted quickly. He had even moved already before the ball was blocked, rushing forward to cover the front space for his senpai.

"Oh! Nice read, Yuki! You are our savior!"

"He is our damn guardian! His na is Yuki!"

"Ale! Ale! Ale!"

The supporters went crazy as Yuki managed to save the ball. However, the play was far from over. Right after he did his job, Yuki stepped back quickly, letting his other teammates step up for the counterattack. He himself didn't stay idle. After confirming the opponent's current formation and simulating hundreds of possibilities, Yuki shouted, "Riku! Sa again!"

It wasn't a complex code, just a simple instruction. However, after playing together with Yuki for a full year, Riku knew completely what his friend wanted and sent the ball back to Ogawa. The opponent's blockers who were about to move back to the middle to prepare for the counterattack were caught off guard. Hell, even Ogawa himself was startled at the sudden second pass at him. However, since he was still there, it was easier for him to catch the ball, and after extending one hand far to reach the ball, he tapped it gently, letting it fall onto the other side of the court.

Thud!

"Oh, yeah!" Ogawa roared, clenching his fist in excitent as he saw the ball fall on the floor. He turned around to Yuki, and still with his face flustered, he high-fived his kouhai enthusiastically. "Good job, Yuki!"

"Yeah! That is my big brother over there!" Hina scread out of her lungs as she saw everyone jump on Yuki. Mai who didn't even know the ga and just ca for her brother also did the sa, shouting and jumping on the spot. "Yuki-nii! Good job!"

Of course, their voice was drowned by the sea of cheers all around them. However, that didn't dampen their enthusiasm. Hell, Taro even had to shield them both from being too close to the crowd, afraid that they would get lost and sothing horrible would happen. Aiko also did the sa, but when she saw Yuki surrounded by his teammates, joy flashed on her face as she was so happy for her eldest son / younger brother.

"He is great, right, Baasan?" Kato next to her couldn't help but mutter, the girl's expression was full of admiration. "He didn't even have to touch the ball, yet he could influence the entire ga like that. He is really amazing…"

OF course, Aiko didn't know what Kato was talking about. However, she knew the girl was praising her boy, and looking at how flushed the girl was, she couldn't help but smile knowingly. "Yeah, he sure is amazing. Just make sure he stays humble and holds his hand tight, okay? I am sure you both will be alright."

"… Ki-nii! Good job!"

Even though it was so faint and insignificant compared to the loud cheers from the crowd, Yuki could still hear and identify that little squeak from afar. That was his little sister. He didn't even need to see it with his eyes to know about that.

Still, he turned his head quickly, scanning through the entire building quickly. Fortunately, his family was in a good spot on the front side of the stand, so it was pretty easy for him to notice them. Seeing the two little sisters jumping around with the crowd, he couldn't help but grin before raising his hand, showing a bracelet on his arm.

It was not an ordinary bracelet. This was the present the children gave during the ga against Kyoei Gakuen in the last Inter-High when he was getting sent out by Nitta. At that ti, Kato even helped deliver the bracelet, showing her support for him. That alone added more value to the bracelet, and now he used it for every ga as his lucky charm.

The two little girls saw his gesture and squealed imdiately. Yuki himself just grinned, turning around and saying to his friend, "Riku, the girls are there." He pointed his finger at the stand.

Riku was taken aback for a second before a grin also ford on his face. He knew his friend so well to the point he didn't even need to ask his friend's intention here. "So, are we going to show off in front of them?"

The grin on Yuki's face turned feral as he tried his best to hide his excitent. "Hell, yeah! We are going to wreak havoc! Get ready, Riku! I will kick your ass if you are embarrassing both of us!"

"Ha! As if! Let's go crazy and kill our opponent!"
