Lin Xiaofei was silent. She didn't tell him imdiately as she thought of how she could convey her problem to him.

He realized that the young girl in front of him was not bothered or angered by the fact that her engagent fell through.

"A list isn't that hard to acquire. However, I'm sure Great General Lin must have already listed out so for you to choose from." Qu Xing Xu replied.
Knowing how much Lin Xiaong doted on his granddaughter, Qu Xing Xu was sure that he would be the first one to have looked for a list of eligible n for his granddaughter to marry.

Qu Xing Xu frowned when she heard the latter half of her words. He had not expected her to ntion the specifics of what type of marriage partner she was looking for.
"You want an old man to be your husband?" Qu Xing Xu said in disbelief.
"Yes." Was her simple reply.
"Are you out of your mind?" Qu Xing Xu snapped. He never heard of any young lady of her age that desires to marry a man who was older than her.
Lin Xiaofei scrunched up her eyebrows and looked at him, "I don't understand what Manager Li is saying. I can assure you that my mind is sound."
"Then, why would you want an old man to be your husband? General Lin wouldn't allow it unless he dies." Qu Xing seriously said with a grim look.
Lin Xiaofei laughed and said, "What's so different if one were to marry a young man and older man? I would still be married over regardless of the age of the husband. And as for my grandfather, I don't think he has many options right now."
Lin Xiaong would even dare to et the heavenly son and ask the Chu family to change their decision to break off the engagent and force them to accept the marriage. Surely, if eligible high ranking official appears to ask her hand for marriage, Lin Xiaong won't make a fuss and accept it, right?
Lin Xiaofei thought it like this, but she didn't know that the affection of Lin Xiaong towards his granddaughter was as tall as the sky and earth and if she were to present an older man as her marriage partner, he would challenge that man to death and behead him in front of everyone else.
