On the thirteenth day of the second month, the servants inside the Lin residence were extrely busy. They were extrely enthusiastic.
Red fabrics and ribbons were hanging on the pillars and even at the edges of the roof. Celebratory colored dresses and clothes were worn by servants and even the guards who were always wearing their tal armors had to wear differently that day to show that they were also celebrating this fateful day.
Cut-out of the character 'Double Joy' were plastered on the windows and doors. The people who ca to watch stood outside. They wanted to see the bride and more so, see the legendary duke that everyone loved.
Inside her chambers, Lin Xiaofei also had to suffer watching her maids fuss over her. They first waited upon her after her bath, made her up, let her wear the red wedding robes that were embroidered with dragons and phoenixes.
Usually, only those who were directly related to the reigning royal family could use embroidery of dragons and phoenixes on the clothes. For example the princess and princes as well as their other half.. However, it seems that Qu Xing Xu already planned to do all these and ignore what other people think. Even Lin Xiaofei had to take a few minutes to take it all in.
After all, who wouldn't when the mont she opened the box carrying her wedding dress, the clothes would even beat what the previous empress wore on her wedding day.
Honestly, Lin Xiaofei was bedazzled by the dress. However, compared to the headdress that she was wearing on top of her head right now, it seems that a lot of people will call her a seductress from now on.
Not only did Qu Xing Xu outdid the empress' wedding dress, he actually made the headdress more magnificent, beautiful, and expensive. The shoes were also donned with White Shark Pearl. As she had no mother or father who could give her advice before marrying over, Lin Xiaong took their role and told her a few more things to do. He told her to be careful and trust nobody, and if she ever got into trouble, she could run to him anyti.
Lin Xiaofei only smiled at him and nodded her head. If she really faced a problem while living in the Qu residence, she would instead worry about the other party than herself. Who knows if they actually had enough juice inside them to go against her and survive.

The Good Fortune Matron's voice rang sowhere as Lin Xiaofei slowly stepped forward. The red veil covering her face made it hard for her to see what was ahead of her. But thankfully, the matron was kind enough to lead her by holding her arms which were raised and folded in front of her chest.
Lin Xiaofei could at least feel the nurous stares she was getting from the Lin family. She didn;t know who was who from her vision but at least, she felt happy that despite not spending ti with them, they still ca out to attend the wedding.

All these ti, Lin Xiaofei has kept her elegance and walked as if she was walking on air. However, when she heard these words from the matron, she couldn't help but miss a step and sway slightly.
"Your grace, please don't be too nervous. We're almost there." The good matron said, clearly oblivious of why she almost tripped.
Lin Xiaofei didn't make a sound as she continued walking. From a considerate distance, she could hear Qu Xing Xu's voice, "Xu Kai greets Wife. Wife, please co to the sedan."
He called out two more tis.
Around this ti, Lin Shen Yu was already carrying her behind his back with the matron still holding her hand. Then, she was transferred to the sedan while everyone was happily laughing, not because they were mocking her, but because they were genuinely happy. After all, after the bride gets inside the sedan and were paraded around the capital, coins will be thrown to the street and everyone will follow them to get their hands on it as well.
While Lin Xiaofei sat inside, Qu Xing Xu rode his black stallion, his mane was extrely black like an ink and the height of the horse was almost twice a person's. It was also surrounded with nace as if it would bite off anyone's head as soon as they got near it.
While the sedan and the accompanying people circled the capital and almost to the Qu residence, Qu Xing Xu slowly maneuvered his horse so that it would align him to the sedan's window.
Qu Xing Xu knocked twice on the window. He waited for a second before it was opened but there was red curtain obscuring him from seeing the bride inside the sedan,
He asked, "Who made this sedan and put this curtain on it?"
"Why?" the smooth and soft feminine voice was heard inside. It was light but slightly muffled because of the veil covering her face.
"Because I need to deduct his pay and throw him sowhere far."
"Oh… I don't know who created this sedan." Answered truthfully before she continued, "But I heard you're the one who ordered soone to make it exclusively just for this day?"
Qu Xing Xu: "..."
Hearing no response from him, Lin Xiaofei added, "Still have plans to throw that soone sowhere far?"
Qu Xing Xu: "..."
Lin Xiaofei laughed and closed the window as they passed the gates of the Qu residence. She didn't clearly see what changes were made or arrangents did Qu Xing Xu order for the wedding reception because the mont she will be entering the Qu residence as his official wife and duchess, she would be directly sent to the wedding chambers.
But according to the collective gasps and chatter around, it seems that Qu Xing Xu chard everyone by spending a lot of gold just for this day.
When the curtain to the sedan was lifted, Qu Xing Xu held his hand out to her, "Wife, we're here."
Lin Xiaofei tapped his hand as a response and reached out to him. She was carried out by him in front of the prying eyes of others.
But no one mattered to them at that ti.
Both Lin Xiaofei and Qu Xing Xu were only focused on each other. Their bodies were touching, albeit separated by several layers of clothes, but it didn't diminish the heat that was inside of them since last night's close encounter.
Well, it doesn't matter anyway.
They still have all night to quench the flas of desire burning inside of them.
