The following day.
The capital was once again disturb by unexpected news. The two princess, Princess Gao and Princess Zhou, were poisoned by the attending maid who later disappeared without a trace.
Everyone in the palace was now being cautious as to not be the target of the monarch's rage. It was easy to see that if the maid who poisoned the princess was not found quickly, soone will surely be beheaded and assud as the criminal.
As for whether that soone really did the cri or not, for as long as the monarch likes it and believes it, no one can say or do anything about it.
But that wasn't the only news that swept across the capital.
Apparently, the poison that the princesses drank was difficult to find and as expected, the antidote was even more difficult to acquire. Simply put, the two princesses lives are now hanging by a thread if nothing was done.
Talented physicians and quack doctors were called to the palace. Their task was to purge the poison from the young princesses' bodies. But it was easy to say and order it but when it cos to action, nobody could do it.
They could only try to minimize the reaction of the poison inside their bodies and wait for a miracle that an antidote would appear.

"That is all the reports in the capital, my lord." A man in blue said to the man sitting at the head of the table.
He sat back down on his chair after telling him about what was currently happening in the capital. That obviously includes the news about the princesses. However, because they don't have much care about the two young girls, they didn't dive deeper into the in and outs of the incident.
The man who sat in a regal way, looking just like an emperor, coldly glanced at Li Chen. He had a tall nose of wealth, arrogant phoenix eyes, and thin lips. He was extrely handso that even the people who sat in the long rectangular table felt inferior.
It was not just because of his impeccable good-looking face, it was also because of the suffocating aura that exudes from his body that made them surrender under his rule without a fight.
Suddenly, the lips of this handso curled up into a smile. It was such a beautiful sight. But to those who was sitting before him, they couldn't help but raise their alertness and prepare themselves for the worst.
However, Qu Xing Xu only said, "Violent as always. But I like it."
The man continued to smile. No one knew what he ant with his words but still, it was sothing they couldn't decipher and once again, they were thrown in a whirlpool of confusion.
One of the n frowned and couldn't take the suspense anymore. It was one of the Qu elders who ca with Qu Xing Xu, Mo Ting.
Elder Mo Ting rubbed his bearded chim, "Young lord, what's wrong with you? Smiling like a madman. Did sothing good happen?"
Sothing good happened?
The others couldn't help but look at Elder Mo Ting in disbelief. No matter what angle they see it, they will always think that smile on Qu Xing Xu's lips were his signature smile before another thousand enemy armies were brought down by them.
But still, they also couldn't stop themselves to anticipate the answer that Qu Xing Xu will give to the old man.
Pausing slightly as if he was thinking, Qu Xing Xu slowly nodded his head to confirm what Elder Mo Ting had just said.
"Yes. But it is also a sad thing that I cannot witness what is happening in the Capital." He said as he stroked the ring around his index finger. His eyes showed affection that greatly shocked the others inside that room.
What was happening? Will the sun start to rise from the west? Almost all of the n inside that room, excluding Elder Mo, were struck dumb at the scene before them.
It just so happens that the sun was setting and from the window that was on the left side, the warm orange light of sunset hit the figure of Qu Xing Xu, making him looked godly but all of them knew that this young man before them was more similar to the devil himself.
Ignoring the mixed stares he was getting, Qu Xing Xu decided that he would send a letter to Lin Xiaofei again after he was done speaking to these n.
It had been a few days since he had left Lin Xiaofei and yet, he felt as if they had been away from each other for years.
In fact, Qu Xing Xu never felt longing for soone or sothing before until Lin Xiaofei changed that. Just a second of being apart from her seed way too long for him but because he had duties and Lin Xiaofei had sothing she wanted to take care of by herself, he chose not to interfere and did so when he couldn't control it anymore.
Seeing Lin Xiaofei's face suddenly appearing in his sight, Qu Xing Xu couldn't wait to get to the capital and see her.
"Are the things ready?" Qu Xing Xu airily said.
Seeing that he wiped off the gentle expression on his face and was replaced with an incredibly cold mask, the others also focused on the matter that needed to be taken care of.
"A letter from the captain of the British empire's ship has been waiting for us to et them in the sea. They've been attacked by pirates and almost robbed of their treasures. Thankfully, they weren't able to take everything as our n arrived before those pirates could touch the goods." A man in blue said. His na was Wang Linkai and although he was the captain of this ship, he held a very important position especially in the forces that were under Qu Xing Xu.
"What about the pirates?" Qu Xing Xu nodded after hearing his report.
Wang Linkai then smiled evilly as he replied, "We have them under our control and took the goods they robbed from them before sinking their ships in front of the captain from the foreign empire. Thankfully, the captain didn't see anything wrong and thus, also didn't say anything else. Instead, he was grateful to us and will help us from now on."
Even though Qu Xing Xu has so dealings with the people from the British empire and helped them from being completely eradicated by the pirates, Wang Linkai understood his master's will and also helped the pirates behind the scenes.
Basically, Qu Xing Xu and his n not only has so dealings with the British empire, they were also involved with so of the prominent and fearso pirate ships across the sea.
However, the captain of the British empire and the unfamiliar and new pirate ship that appeared that ti didn't know that Qu Xing Xu was already using both their forces to his uses. Just thinking about how Qu Xing Xu was more evil than the devil, the leaders inside the room shuddered in fear but also have respect for him.
