Lin Xiaofei felt her body shivering under his gaze. It wasn't the unpleasant kind of shiver that she felt whenever soone she didn't like looked at her. However, it wasn't also a good thing being stared at by him as if she was a treasure he must have.
It was one thing to be looked at because she possessed a peerless face but being stared at warmly and affectionately was another thing.
Now that she sees it from him, Lin Xiaofei could tell how different Qu Xing Xu's gaze was compared to Yu Fangzhu's.
Yu Fangzhu stared at her as if she was his enemy that he needed to deceive. On the other hand, Qu Xing Xu's eyes looked at her as if he had nothing to hide from her. His desire to have her was visible in his eyes and his words and actions were the proof to show how much he wanted her in his life.
Snapping out of her thoughts, Lin Xiaofei realized that she had been staring at him and the rush of blood imdiately went to her cheeks.
She quickly blinked her eyes and looked away from him.. She turned her body so that her hand would no longer be in his hands and said, "I think this is enough. The cut's not that big and you did a great job cleaning it."
Qu Xing Xu chuckled and let her go this ti. "I heard a very interesting rumor by the way."
When she heard him, Lin Xiaofei couldn't stop her eyes from moving to look at him again.
She had that sa look as if she was staring at a bug.
After being stared down like he was so type of a bug, Qu Xing Xu returned that look with a smile. He didn't mind it one bit that he was being compared with a bug.
Seeing him use that sa smile that could make any woman fall to their knees and worship him, Lin Xiaofei sighed. Thankfully, she was already immune to his beauty and didn't beco one of his willing victims.
But she can't say the sa to the original host.

"What rumor?" Lin Xiaofei decided to concede for once and went along with him.

Qu Xing Xu stood up and walked around the room as he said, "Apparently, there's a rumor going around the market and every household in the capital." Lin Xiaofei was silent for a mont before she said, "That's really unfortunate."

He didn't feel good that every single ti, Lin Xiaofei would try to postpone the wedding.
"Why should I postpone my marriage because of an insignificant person I didn't even know existed until I heard this rumor from Gu Yan." Qu Xing Xu's lips tugged upward into a wicked smile.
"Concubine Shang would be saddened if she heard you speak to her like that." Lin Xiaofei said.
Not only concubine Shang would be saddened and angered with his words, anyone who heard him will be provoked.
Qu Xing Xu shrugged, "I don't care. She can stay in her bed forever. And better just yet, I'll send her a coffin to use for her early death."
Qu Xing Xu already heard what happened inside the fourth prince's residence. As much as he wanted the two of them to be harmonious and grow their feelings for each other, he cannot let his master lose his control.
