Qu Xing Xu stepped out of the room after being done with Yu Fangzhu. No speck of dust was stuck on his clothes and he looked as immaculate as when he first arrived in Hong Pei Lou.
He walked through the hallway, walking past the several closed doors of every room on the second floor. After he got to the other end of the hallway, he turned the small painting hanging on the wall and a door appeared where a stair leading upstairs could be seen.
Not only did he renovate the second floor but the third floor also went to a drastic change. Instead of the bare stairs that would lead anyone to co to his personal space on the third floor, Qu Xing Xu decided to hide the stairs leading upstairs.
"Master, should we clean the room downstairs?" The waiter silently appeared beside him. If it were soone else, they would've jumped in startle upon his appearance but Qu Xing Xu already sensed the waiter's presence even before he stepped on the steps of the stairs.
"Yes." Qu Xing Xu took off his outer clothes and threw them to the brazier on the left side of the room, "I want everything inside that room burned and cleaned out. Don't leave anything that has been touched by them to go unnoticed.. I don't want my custors to feel that they have been cheated from their money by letting them use a dirty room."
"What about the people downstairs? Should I also burn them?" The waiter asked nonchalantly as if he wasn't speaking about burning three n alive.
Qu Xing Xu chuckled and shook his head, "Don't worry about them. They'll leave even without doing anything. Just do your job in cleaning that room."
The waiter nodded his head and left without a sound. However, he was thinking that he would very much like it if he could burn the people who got their blood on his master alive before he left.

'Stop, please!"
The sound of sothing hard making contact with a person was heard in the entire receiving hall.
Earlier, only ten people were inside the hall but after Lin Xiaofei pursued the matters of beating the people who disrespected her, so people ca to help.
Of course, they didn't intentionally co to help but was only forced to do so since they were called by Tan Feng. These people were the guards that stood outside the receiving hall, thinking that they can laze around for the rest of the day only to be dragged into this situation.
They stood in the middle of the hall, all three of them held a whip in their hands and swung their arms to hit their targets. Their human targets.
Sitting unceremoniously on the ground, Concubine Shang, the old maid, and another maid were currently being punished for their previous actions. On their sides, the other maids who laughed were cowering and shuddering every ti the whips strikes down.
They whimpered as if they could feel the touch of the rciless whip burning their flesh and taking chunks of their skin.
Liu Shishi was also not doing good at this sight as she paled when the blood seeped through the clothes of the three females. And not only that but her parents were also quite good In bringing her up thus when she was faced with this, she couldn't help but sympathize with their pains.
"Lin Xiaofei, don't you think it's enough? If they continue hitting them, they'll no longer be able to walk properly for a month." Liu Shishi tried to convince her friend.
But who knew that Lin Xiaofei's reply was a sweeping glance at her before she raised a hand to drink her tea.
"Lin Xiaofei… Be the better person and let them off already." Liu Shishi pouted and acted like a spoiled child in front of her friend.
Lin Xiaofei almost laughed at her because of the way Liu Shishi was acting, she almost looked like she was asking for a favor from her mother.
"It's still on the seventh blow. There are still eight blows to go and it will be done." Lin Xiaofei said after putting down her tea. No one knows how could she have the guts to actually drink tea when soone was being whipped.
"But…" Liu Shishi's eyes moved towards the three females across them before turning to Lin Xiaofei as she said, "But they looked so pitiful."
Pitiful? Lin Xiaofei's gaze landed on Concubine Shang who was on the verge of losing consciousness.
Compared to what she experienced in her past life, concubine Shang's punishnt couldn't even compare to it. She lost her limbs and had no way of it returning back to her in its original state. No one pitied her even when she asked for a drop of water or even a single grain of rice. She was deprived of everything and yet, who said she would beco the better person because they looked pitiful?
Lin Xiaofei knew and understood that Liu Shishi was new to this but it was better for her to see this before she falls to any mishaps in the future. In this period, no woman could survive if they don't use their wits and beco ruthless.
And the promised fifteen blows that Lin Xiaofei wanted were almost handed over to the three females who were the most disrespectful that day. But of course, Lin Xiaofei didn't do this without rhy or reason.
These three won were among the people who made her life miserable inside the residence of the Fourth Prince. Ti and ti, they slandered her and sched against her. All heads inside the hall turned to look at her. There were only three left from the fifteen blows from the whip and yet, she actually stopped it. What could she be planning now?
Nonetheless, once they heard her saying stop, the three won fainted at once from the pain. They couldn't even shed a tear before they closed their eyes.
"Is there sothing wrong, Miss Lin?" Attendant Tan asked. He was already sweating buckets and wanted to get rid of his clothes that were soaked in sweat.
Lin Xiaofei stared at him and nodded, "I spilled so tea on my dress. I wish to clean it before you continue the remaining three blows and those people"
Everyone sucked in their breaths as they almost couldn't believe what they had just heard.
Was she still aiming for everyone to receive fifteen blows from a whip?! All of them beca alard and cowered on the side. After seeing what happened to the three females who significantly hold power in the inner courtyard being punished like this, they naturally didn't want to feel their pain.
"But the ladies have lost their consciousness already. Won't it be better if we end this with just them being beaten?" Attendant Tan tried his best to end things with just this. He wished that Lin Xiaofei would leave now and never return to the Fourth Prince's residence ever again.
"That is right, Lin Xiaofei." Liu Shishi also said. She was already feeling faint and if she continued to stay there, she might lose her consciousness next. She grabbed her friend's sleeve and blinked her eyes like a child, "I rember there's a new biscuit being sold in Hong Pei Lou, why don't we take a trip there and buy so? Please?"
Lin Xiaofei sighed before nodding, "Alright. We will go there only after I'm done cleaning the tea I spilled on my dress." Everyone couldn't stop themselves from sighing in relief not knowing that Lin Xiaofei already confird one thing.
That her plans were still quite successfully spinning inside the Fourth Prince's residence.
