Lin Xiaofei paused and turned to look at him, "Ah, that. Grandfather need not worry too much about what I said."

She already had a plan to not be forced to marry or rather, she already made a plan to relieve Lin Xiaong of his worries since this was all a part of her plan.

"By the way, grandfather. I wish to go out but I was told that I can't go without your permission. The day is still early and the weather is really good. It would be a waste to stay inside my courtyard."

'The day is early?' Lin Xiaong looked at her stupidly. Earlier, she had just ntioned to the Chu family that the day was not early and they should leave but now she's saying that she should enjoy the weather outside?

Lin Xiaong was helpless, "But where would Fei'er go? You haven't gone out of your courtyard for three years, so where would you want to go?"

"Anywhere." She replied vaguely..

She didn't want Lin Xiaong to beco suspicious of her actions if she said where she would go because it's been three years since she last went outside.

"Then, let my n guard you. You've never been out for too long and there's a lot of dangers that one would et on the road. It is better to be safe." Lin Xiaong sighed and continued, "I will also give you a few banknotes for you to use when buying what you want."

"Thank you, grandfather." Lin Xiaofei smiled at him.

 "Alright, I'll go now."

After he said that, Lin Xiaong turned to leave.

Lin Xiaofei stood on her place and looked at the wide back of Lin Xiaong and the smile on her face was wiped off as if it never existed in the first place.

She wasted a lot of ti confronting both the Second Lin Madam and the Chu family. Lin Xiaofei has veered off from her initial plan because of them and jow, she had to be careful when going out and not let anyone be conscious of her movents.

She didn't want to beat the bush and alert the snakes.

But she still needed the guards that Lin Xiaong will lend to her since the dangers of the outside was sothing she was already aware of and won't risk everything because she didn't take his advice.

"Young Miss, should we really be doing this? What would the Old Master think if he finds out about this?" Bai Lu softly whispered.

They were currently inside the carriage that Lin Xiaong prepared after Lin Xiaofei told him that she needed to go out discreetly, so she let him change their carriage with one without the symbol of a tiger, the Lin family's insignia.

Each high ranking noble family has an insignia that distinguishes themselves from each other. The Dragon and Phoenix belonged to the Imperial Family, the Lion belonged to the Dukes, the Eagle belonged to the officials and the pheasant belonged to the commoners.

While the Tiger belonged only to the Lin family as it symbolizes the strong integrity and loyalty it served to the Imperial Family and since it was also what the previous emperor has given to Lin Xiaong for his ritorious service for the empire.

However, Lin Xiaofei chose to ride an unmarked carriage that indicated that she didn't belong to any noble families.

"It's fine as long as he doesn't find out then." Lin Xiaofei said, her voice was sowhat loud, enough for the guards sent by Lin Xiaong to hear.

She wanted to let them know that whatever they do or wherever they go, the guards won't say a word to Lin Xiaong and keep this a secret from everyone else.

It took them almost half an hour to arrive at their destination.

In front of them was Bai Hua Lou, a renowned brothel in the Capital. The brothel was located at the center of the capital and many wealthy nobleman frequent the place not to buy flesh but to buy the talents of the female workers working in there.

Unlike the 9th rank brothels where their business was solely selling the flesh (prostituting won), Bai Hua Lou has tons of won that have proficiency in the four literary arts and were comparable to the young ladies from a noble family.

However, Lin Xiaofei didn't co here to buy the talents of the female workers in Bai Hua Lou but to secure the 'box' she stole from Concubine Xian.

Knowing that her life was going to be in a perilous situation after stealing the box, Lin Xiaofei gave the box to a trustworthy person.

This 'trustworthy person' was soone she knew in her past life and was very close to the person before getting married to Yu Fangzhu.

When she was about to step inside the doors of Bai Hua Lou, Su Tang stopped and anxiously said, "Young miss is really coming to this place?"

Other than Lin Xiaofei who was confident in entering the doors of Bai Hua Lou, Su Tang who was the only one beside her was extrely worried about her young lady's reputation.

She was worried that once words were spread about Lin Xiaofei going inside Bai Hua Lou, even Lin Xiaong who doted on her young lady would faint in shock.

That's why Su Tang asked Lin Xiaofei if she really wanted to go inside.

Lin Xiaofei simply glanced at her, "Yes."

"B-but young miss. This isn't a normal place but a…. But a…" Su Tang grimaced, "Anyway, young miss need not go inside and just order to go inside."

"No." Lin Xiaofei coldly said.

Her tone was making it hard for Su Tang to disobey her.

Lin Xiaofei ca to Bai Hua Lou in a n's garnt. She found Su Tang's worries correct but unfortunately, it only applies to the young ladies who were innocent and has an image to keep. Sadly, Lin Xiaofei wasn't one of them and she was completely not a young lady, ntally and spiritually.

And on top of everything, Lin Xiaofei has not gone outside for three years. Her face should have changed a bit and if soone were to see her and recognize her, they would have to question their own sanity.

Although Lin Xiaofei was stupid and ignorant, she would never let herself walk into the entrance of Bai Hua Lou even just for a second. So, why would anyone know it was her?

For this reason, Lin Xiaofei was confident when she strode inside the doors of Bai Hua Lou.

She was naturally taller than normal young ladies at the age of sixteen or seventeen and would be mistaken as a young lord. Behind her, Su Tang was wearing a slightly dilapidated n servant's garnt and had her head lowered.

The middle-aged woman in the lobby who welcos the custors saw them coming in and hurriedly went to them, "Young Lord! Are you here to pick so of our young ladies?" She took a mont to look at Lin Xiaofei's fand said, "I see that the young lord is a new face and must be new here. Co, let show you our beauties. "

The woman wore very thin red clothes and the robe covering her shoulders showed her white shoulder, making n stare at it for a long ti.

However, Lin Xiaofei didn't even glance at the woman's thin outfit and nodded her head, "Thank you, but can you prepare a room for first before sending the beauties?"

"Of course." The woman clasped her hands together and guided them to a room.

Su Tang from behind Lin Xiaofei suddenly asked, "Why is young miss suddenly looking for beauties?"

"What other reason is there? Of course, as a person, I also want to look at the beauties and have so fun." Lin Xiaofei replied but her tone was cold.

However, Su Tang was unable to see this and thus, her mind was in a whirlwind as she doubted her young miss preferences.

Can it be that her young miss has a different taste now after staying inside the residence for three years? Su Tang thought and blushed.
