Qu Xing Xu's lips bled a smile as he looked at the tiny words written at the back of the letter. He had never felt so happy and satisfied like this. Even when he gets a letter from his subordinates that they had killed a general and his head is on the way, what Qu Xing Xu was feeling right now couldn't compare to it.
Tracing the words with his fingers, he could already imagine Lin Xiaofei writing these words with a frown and a glint in her eyes, probably not liking his display of affection. But that's not sothing that he couldn't change.
With the days coming for the two of them, he had enough ti and a lot of it to make her feel sothing for him, and hopefully, she wouldn't try to deny it.
Qu Xing Xu stood up and went to face the wall. He raised his hand and knocked it like it was a door and it would open if he did knock on it.

With a pleasant smile on his face, Qu Xing Xu went back to sit at the table and said, "Apparently, soone has sent a letter."

"Is it a letter of challenge?" One of the n stepped forward and asked.
"Yes." Qu Xing Xu nodded. Although he doubted that Lin Xiaofei would appreciate him saying this. However, considering her words that were filled with longing, he might have to transform her words into a challenge. A challenge for him to finish everything he ca here for and co back as soon as possible.
Of course, he didn't say that to his n as he liked to ss with them as much as he liked to ss around with his enemies.

An hour later, their horses galloped through the grassy plains as they head towards the location of their enemies.
"Be prepared for any attacks and make sure that we won't scare the snake in the bushes. Go quietly and slash their necks!" Qu Xing Xu told his n with a cold tone that was enough to make a man weak on his knees.
The n didn't have to answer to him with their words. They will answer to his orders with their actions tonight.
Two hours later, splashes of blood tainted the clean tent and the sounds of groans and grunts accompanied the tallic noises that ca from a sword clashing and slicing through flesh was heard in the enemy's camp.
Sohow, the enemy didn't try to be more discreet at hiding themselves and erected a camp for the night before attacking Qu Xing Xu.
Unfortunately, they didn't think that they would be ambushed tonight by the sa person they wanted to kill.
"Why?" The enemy leader asked with raw fear glinting in his eyes.
"Why?" Asked Qu Xing Xu and appeared as if he didn't understand what the enemy was saying.
"Don't you dare act like you don't know what I'm talking about! You're supposed to wait for us and our swords would clash tomorrow. Not tonight!" The enemy shouted with a tone of accusation.
"I didn't know we had so silent agreent on this one." Qu Xing Xu laughed. "If I had known, I would've waited for you to co. You should have sent a letter to inform beforehand."
"Bastard! Demon!" The enemy leader shouted at him while swinging his sword in hopes that Qu Xing Xu would get slashed by it.
"You flatter too much." Qu Xing Xu laughed once again. He didn't look like he was struggling to keep up with the hugely built enemy leader that was as twice as he was.
The glaive that the enemy leader was swinging around with his muscled arm didn't only look like it was heavy. The blows that they exchanged with their weapons sounded as heavy as it looked like the ground around them shook at the impact of every clashing of their weapons.
"You're barely keeping up, boy! Maybe you should eat a lot more and engage in battle a few more tis! You must have lost your touch when you hide from the world for years!" The enemy leader said as he pushed back Qu Xing Xu.
Qu Xing Xu remained quiet as he looked like he was having a hard ti to repel the enemy leader's attacks.
The n surrounding them were not much better than them, all of them didn't have any ti to rest as they were also engaged in a rough battle with each other.
The enemy has over a hundred n and Qu Xing Xu only has ten n, including him. For others, this was a suicide and a show of last resort but only Qu Xing Xu and his n knew that it wasn't.
Qu Xing Xu exchanged blows after blows with the enemy leader. He looked like he was being pushed to a corner but little did the enemy know that Qu Xing Xu was having fun with his own acting.
The enemy leader put all of his strength on the last blow and saw Qu Xing Xu's knees buckled at the impact. He showed a triumphant smile in his face and laughed.
"What's wrong, boy? Your knees are getting weak? How would you satisfy won if you can't even take a few attacks from ?"
Instead of getting provoked and shout back, Qu Xing Xu smiled wickedly at him as he said, "Playti's over."
Then, he let go of his sword.
