"That… that.." Bai Jia Li didn't know what to say after hearing his words. His tone was playful but his eyes were the opposite of it.
"Your Grace, please don't tease my little sister." Bai Feng Jiu laughed and made her sister step backward to stand beside her.
"Am I?" Qu Xing Xu said, arching a brow with a smile still on his lips. He then said, "Anyways, I think a grand tour is needed for my dear fiance, am I right?"
Lin Xiaofei wanted to say no as she wanted to rest and talk with him alone about sothing else but Qu Xing Xu didn't let her escape.
Leaving the Bai sisters behind, Qu Xing Xu let her stand in front of several old n with white hair. So of them still looked younger but with the kind of face they're showing to her, Lin Xiaofei could easily mistake them as the sa kind as Lin Xiaong.
"Girl, welco to the Qu residence!" Elder Gao quickly said as soon as she stood in front of them.
Mo Ting also didn't dally away, "It is good that you have co now. We won't have to worry about the Duke anymore." And also, we won't forget your sacrifices. Mo Ting left those words unheard.
To the Elders, Lin Xiaofei who ended up being Qu Xing Xu's fiance was a hero who saved the world. Qu Xing Xu was like a wild horse running amok everywhere and even though they were his Elders and close aides, not one of them could stop him from doing whatever he wanted.
The reason why they were so persistent in wanting him to marry early was also because of this. They believed that if Qu Xing Xu managed to marry, he will soon be a fool in love and tone down his ruthlessness just like them.
Noticing at how Qu Xing Xu looked at Lin Xiaofei, the old n couldn't stop but release a sigh of relief. Indeed, their thoughts weren't unfounded.
Unfortunately, they hadn't heard of what he has done until now. If they heard of what Qu Xing Xu did to get Lin Xiaofei to agree to his proposal and the hairpin that he gave to her, there was no doubt that they would faint and blood would co out of their mouths.

Seeing the silent question that was contained in her eyes, Qu Xing Xu chuckled and said, "These are the Elders of the Qu family."
Lin Xiaofei waited for him to continue and explain so more but Qu Xing Xu only wickedly smiled at her.
"Aiya… this young one still didn't know how to treat us. Girl, make sure to get so senses to him and also don't forget to tell him to treat us, Elders, well." Another Elder said, trying to send so signal to Lin Xiaofei so she can put a rope around Qu Xing Xu's neck. "You can call , Grandpa Jiang." He told her.
"Call Grandpa Mo too."
" too, call Grandpa Gao."
"Don't forget about . Call Grandpa Chen!"
Soon after Elder Jiang told her to call him 'Grandpa', the Elders stood in front of her like so kids trying to ask for candies. Except, they weren't asking for candies but asking her to call them her Grandpa.
Lin Xiaofei felt dizzy with how they kept on talking and asking her to call them how they wanted to be called. It wasn't such a big deal to her to call them with a sense of familiarity but she wondered whether Lin Xiaong would barge in the Qu residence and ask these old n to a fight to the death for the right to claim the title as her 'Grandpa'.
Besides, what kind of Elders would act like this the first ti they t?
Lin Xiaofei's wide eyes stared at Qu Xing Xu. Trying to ask him for help.
Chuckling, Qu Xing Xu shrugged his shoulders. His expression was telling her that this was the reason why he didn't bother introducing them one by one to her, they would surely talk non-stop and might even tell her stories of their past achievents.
"Just bear with a little bit longer." He whispered to her ear. His warm breath hitting her earlobe and hair, giving her goosebumps at the end.
As the Elders continued to gush over Lin Xiaofei, the Bai sisters were extrely unhappy with the turn of events.
They didn't expect that the Elders would act this way towards an outsider.
The last ti they checked, so of the elders were even rooting for Bai Jia Li!
However, what the Bai sisters didn't know was that the only reason that so of the Elders were rooting for her was that because she was staying inside the residence where Qu Xing Xu was also living. She should have so chance but even after a few years, she was still unsuccessful to get his attention.
In addition, the Elders were only acting out in courtesy towards a little girl in love and didn't directly encourage her.
