The ride inside the Rolls-Royce Phantom was as smooth as silk. Lin Feng leaned back, watching the cityscape glide by through the tinted windows. The feeling of luxury wasn’t new to him, but seeing Liu Zhen’s soul leave his body back in the parking lot? That was priceless.

[System: Congratulations, Host! You have successfully caused a grown man to reconsider all his life choices. Would you like to send him a therapy fund as well?]

Lin Feng smirked. "Nah, let him suffer."

[System: Cold. I like it.]

As the car rolled toward the campus gates, Lin Feng tapped on the intercom. "Drop off here. No need to flex too much."

The driver nodded. "Understood, Young Master."

The Phantom smoothly stopped, and Lin Feng stepped out casually—as if he hadn’t just arrived in a car that cost more than so people’s entire bloodline.

Just as he was about to head toward his dorm—

"Lin Feng."

A soft but firm voice called out behind him.

He turned to see Guo Yuwei, still dressed in her white dress and light blue cardigan, standing under the shade of a tree.

The evening breeze gently tousled her long black hair, and under the golden sunset, she looked effortlessly elegant. There was always sothing graceful about her presence—like she belonged in a world of sophisticated tea ceremonies and high-society gatherings.

But right now, there was sothing else in her eyes.

Hesitation.

Lin Feng arched an eyebrow. "Didn’t get enough entertainnt from today’s show?"

Guo Yuwei smiled faintly but didn’t respond. Instead, she glanced around, as if making sure no one else was listening.

"...Can we talk sowhere private?"

That got his attention.

He studied her expression—calm, composed, but with a trace of sothing... vulnerable.

Lin Feng shrugged. "Alright."

A short walk later, they sat across from each other at a quiet café just outside the campus. The soft jazz music and warm lighting made for a relaxing atmosphere, but Guo Yuwei didn’t seem relaxed at all.

She stirred her coffee absentmindedly before finally speaking.

"...I need your help."

Lin Feng rested his chin on one hand. "Go on."

She hesitated, then took a deep breath. "It’s about my mother."

A flicker of surprise crossed his face. He had expected sothing like class project issues or maybe needing a ride sowhere fancy—but this?

Guo Yuwei wasn’t the type to ask for help easily.

She continued, her voice quieter. "She’s sick. It’s... not terminal, but the treatnt is expensive. Too expensive. My father doesn’t support us, and my part-ti jobs barely cover daily expenses."

Her fingers tightened around her cup. "I was going to handle it myself, but... ti is running out."

Lin Feng didn’t speak imdiately.

[System: Well, well. A classic beauty-in-distress scenario. This is exactly what you signed up for, rich boy.]

He ignored the system and instead asked, "How much do you need?"

Guo Yuwei bit her lip before whispering a number.

Lin Feng exhaled slowly. It wasn’t an impossible amount for him, but for an average student? It was a mountain of debt.

He leaned back, tapping his fingers on the table. "And how were you planning to get this money?"

Guo Yuwei smiled bitterly. "I... was considering taking a loan from certain people."

That sent up imdiate red flags.

Lin Feng’s expression darkened. "Loan sharks?"

She didn’t confirm, but her silence was enough.

Lin Feng tapped on the table twice before speaking again.

"Alright. I’ll cover it."

Guo Yuwei’s eyes widened slightly. "Just like that?"

Lin Feng smirked. "Why not? I’m rich, rember?"

Her brows furrowed. "But—"

He held up a hand. "No ’but.’ If I let you take a loan from those kinds of people, I’d have to clean up the ss later anyway. Might as well handle it now."

Guo Yuwei stared at him for a long mont before lowering her gaze.

"...I’ll pay you back."

Lin Feng chuckled. "Sure. Take your ti."

She narrowed her eyes. "I’m serious."

He waved dismissively. "I know. That’s why I said ’sure.’"

She sighed, clearly knowing she wasn’t going to win this argunt. "...Thank you, Lin Feng."

[System: Ding! Congratulations, Host! You have successfully sponsored another beauty! Your wallet is now 50% lighter, but your life is 100% more interesting.]

Lin Feng smirked. "No problem. Just rember this favor next ti I need one."

Guo Yuwei smiled softly. "Deal."**

Back at Campus—A Brewing Storm

By the ti they returned to campus, the sun had fully set. Lin Feng felt satisfied—a good deed done, money spent where it actually mattered.

But just as they approached the dorms—

A group of students was gathered around, whispering about sothing.

"Did you hear?"

"Soone put up another post about Lin Feng!"

"What now? Another car flex?"

"No... this ti, it’s serious."

Lin Feng and Guo Yuwei exchanged glances.

He pulled out his phone, opening the campus forum—and his eyes imdiately narrowed.

A new pinned post sat at the top of the page.

"Exposing Lin Feng: The Truth About His Wealth!"

Below it were multiple screenshots of receipts, pictures from the auction, and even a photo of his Rolls-Royce.

The comnts section was on fire.

"No way he’s just a regular student. This proves he’s either a liar or has a shady background."

"Maybe he’s a scamr?"

"Or a money launderer?"

"Where did he get all this money?!"

Lin Feng sighed, rubbing his temples.

[System: HAHAHAHAHA! Well, Host, looks like your secret identity lasted a whole two days. Congratulations!]

Guo Yuwei frowned. "Who would go this far?"

Lin Feng’s smirk returned. "Luo Zixuan, Liu Zhen, take your pick."

One thing was clear—

Soone was trying to drag him into the spotlight.

And Lin Feng hated being controlled.
