Now, her mother's old subordinate will handle all company affairs. The person will serve as Chief Operating Officer and be supervised by Jas as the acting CEO, who temporarily replaces her father.
Scarlett doesn't want to be involved with the company's managent as the current largest shareholder. She would never want to continue her mother's business because she was not in the tourism industry.
Even though this company doesn't produce much money for her, she wants this company to keep running. The company is a solid reminder of her mother's legacy.

Scarlett and Logan were rushed to the hospital. She had spoken with her father before returning to the capital. More than a week living on this island made her sluggish, and she wanted to return to her activities.
On the way to the hospital, Scarlett glanced at the docunt she had taken from Lauren.
She was terrified to look at the docunt. Afraid that Lauren's statent was true, she is not her father's biological daughter.
Scarlett felt that her relationship with her father in the last week was much better than before. She didn't want her good mood to be disturbed just because of that matter.

Shortly after, Scarlett arrived at her father's ward. She saw that he had just started dinner. He looks very lonely, eating alone while watching television in his bed.

Scarlett smiled as she sat on the edge of the bed. Then, she started to feed her father and told him everything that happened in their house and at the Ocean Group.
Jonathan was impressed by what she did. "Thanks, Scarlett, you help dad to take care of everything in the house and company..." He was touched.
"Well, I just did what I should have done a long ti ago..." Scarlett smiled bitterly, rembering when Lauren was still living in their house.
It was a dark ti for her and so of the workers. But now, everything had returned to how it was when her mother was still alive — Lauren was no longer a madam at her house. And neither are her minions staying there.
"Dad, now Uncle Adams is the housekeeper in our house. He will call everyone who used to work there to continue their work. And tomorrow, Aunt Lana will co back too. She also will help you here until you can go ho..."
Scarlett will ask Aunt Lana to return to the island to help care for her father. After all, she will be staying at Xander's house this year. She doesn't really need Aunt Lana's help yet.
Jonathan was surprised to hear that Lana would return to his household. Even though so ti ago, she resigned because she wanted to take care of her parents.

Scarlett stopped feeding her father.

After feeding her father, Scarlett cleared the portable dining table. She made sure her father was comfortable, watching television on the bed.

She gulped.
"Hahaha, no. Not about that guy! But about sothing else. About why I don't want to work in Ocean Group." She said with blushing cheeks, rembering Xander's handso face flashed through her mind.
She really missed Xander. She couldn't wait to et him tonight after so many days apart.
"You've found a decent company in the capital?" For Jonathan, it doesn't matter where she will work after graduating from college. The most important thing is that she has a job.
"Of course not. But I work for my own company." Scarlett smiled as she saw her father's eyes open wide. He was shocked.
"Y-You have a company? What company? Where did you get the money to set up that company?" Jonathan was too worried that his daughter would borrow money from the bank to open her business.
"Dad, don't worry. My company has no debt..."
