A mont later, they arrived at morial Hospital. Their driver quickly got out of the car and tried to open the door for them. Tanaga, not needing anyone’s help, let himself out, opened the door himself and helped Ashley out the door. He helped Ashley out the door before their driver made it to them, since the couple needed to see their grandmother imdiately.
The vehicle behind them stopped, and the rest of Tanaga’s bodyguards followed the couple as they made their way inside the hospital. As they entered the hospital lobby, people there wondered who they were, as they were followed by an entourage of multiple n dressed in suits.
When they arrived at the front of the elevators, there were other people waiting for the elevator already. As the small crowd noticed the entourage Ashley and Tanaga had behind them, they stood aside, letting them go first when the elevator finally ca to not ss with them. They were terrified of the bodyguards, to say the least.
Once they were inside the elevator, Ashley spoke, asking Tanaga a question she had been thinking of, "Tan, do we know where we’re going?" She asked curiously, still wondering which buttons to press.
"I’m assuming we’re going to the cardiology floor," he responded, still in deep thought.
"Well, we need to find out which floor it’s located at before we can visit grandma Hanada. Let’s go and check at the front desk," Ashley suggested as she and Tanaga stepped out of the open elevator door.
Tanaga ordered one of his bodyguards to find where Chairwoman Hanada was taken to be treated. Just as they were about to leave, Ashley’s phone rang. She quickly answered it, and to her surprise, it was Harumi calling to inform them of which floor grandma Hanada was on.
Once Ashley had ended the call briefly after Harumi had told her which floor, she called out to the bodyguard that was already ready to leave.
"Stop! You don’t need to go. I know which floor we’re going to," she said as she made her way back to the elevator, pressing the right button for the floor grandma Hanada was on. A few minutes later, they were in the cardiology departnt of the hospital. Harumi was standing outside the elevator door, nervously waiting for the rest to arrive. As she saw them, she imdiately spoke.
"CEO Jones, Ma’am Ashley. Thank God you’re here. The doctor needs to see you as soon as possible," she said as said that you need to see him as soon as you get here." Harumi said, her eyes puffy from crying her eyes out.
Tanaga nodded.
"Lead the way!" He ordered, as Harumi wiped her tears and showed them where the doctor’s office was.

"Mr. and Mrs. Jones. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s nothing we can do any longer. This ti, she had a serious heart attack, and she’s barely hanging in there. Please, follow to the ICU quickly. She doesn’t have much ti left," the doctor said as he got up and led them to see grandma Hanada.
Just as Ashley and Tanaga were getting up, Ashley suddenly felt nauseated and woozy. She grabbed a hold of Tanaga’s arms in an attempt to steady herself.
"Honey, I’m not feeling too well. I need to use the restroom," she said.
The doctor heard what she said, and pointed her in the right direction where the bathroom was. Ashley took off. She was about to puke, and the last thing she wanted was to make an embarrassnt out of herself.
Unfortunately, she didn’t make it to where the bathroom was before puking her heart up. Tanaga, who had been running after her and trying his best to follow her, finally caught up with her.
"Sweetheart, are you alright?" He asked worriedly while patting Ashley’s back. When she nodded, Tanaga ordered one of his bodyguards to fetch so warm water, and ordered another bodyguard to find soone to clean up the ss.
"Hurry! Don’t just stand there guarding ! No one dares bother us in this hospital," he said to one bodyguard who was standing still, doing nothing but watching the couple.
It was after a while that Ashley finally felt slightly better. As she slowly tried to get up with the help of Tanaga, darkness enveloped her, and she passed out.
Tanaga panicked, looking around before his gaze landed on a nearby doctor.
"Doctor! Doctor! I need your help here!" He shouted at the doctor who stood a distance away. This managed to grab his attention, and he quickly ca over to help Tanaga take Ashley to his office and lay her down on the nearest sofa.
Once Ashley was settled on the sofa, he called for another doctor to co, as well as a stretcher so they could test her.
Tanaga was out of his mind, and was panicking. If anything, he was calm and collected when it regarded his grandmother’s condition, but if anything happened to his dear wife. All hell would break loose.
He didn’t know what to do, and since the doctor hadn’t arrived yet, Tanaga thought of taking Ashley to go wherever she needed to go to get a check up. She hadn’t co to her senses yet, and the odds weren’t looking so good either.
Just as he was about to lift his wife up and carry her unconscious body, two nurses ca in the office, pulling a stretcher with them.
"Excuse , sir! We need to move your wife to the stretcher so we’ll be able to take her to the ergency room imdiately. She needs to get tested," explained one of the nurses.
"Where’s the doctor? Why do you want to take her to the ergency room? For what reason? I would rather him check her here," Tanaga shouted, his face scarlet red from anger.
"I’m sorry sir, but our order was to pick up a patient that passed out and take her to the ergency room for a checkup. No doctor was called to co," answered the other nurse.
It was then Tanaga started shouting from the top of his lungs. If anything concerned his wife, all his rationality went out the window.
"NO! I want her to get a check-up right now!" He yelled as he lifted his wife and laid her on the stretcher.
"Let’s go! Take her to a doctor, not the ergency room. I refuse to take her anywhere else. Do you understand?" He shouted, scaring the two nurses who were only doing their jobs.
Grandmother Hanada’s doctor decided to intervene. He tapped Tanaga’s shoulder to get his attention.
"Sir, the ergency room is the best place to take her right now to get a check-up. We don’t know why she passed out after throwing up, so it’s best we take her there. This is only a safety precaution, since she might have food poisoning or she could also be carrying a child."
That was all that Tanaga needed to hear, as he let go of the handle of the stretcher so that the nurses could wheel her out there and take her to the ergency room.
