Mr. Gusman was sure that his family was there and waiting for Ashley to give birth. While he was running towards the operating room, he kept on praying for the safety of his daughter and her child.
While Ashley was having a hard ti giving birth, Tanaga was sleeping in Jeff’s car while being brought to his condo. He didn’t even notice that they arrived at his condo even though they were parked outside of it for almost thirty minutes.
Harumi was still awake and waiting for Tanaga’s arrival. Grandma Hanada was already sleeping as she was tired of the long trip.
Grandma Hanada told Harumi to wake her up the mont Tanaga arrived, so Harumi was just waiting and watching television. She was watching a Japanese drama when her cell phone suddenly rang. She quickly picked it up and looked at who was calling. When she saw that it was Butler Ruffy, she quickly answered it.
"Harumi, there’s a problem. Please inform the Chairwoman that Madam Ashley is in the operating room right now and she’s about to get a cesarean," Butler Ruffy declared.
"Yes, I will right now. I’ll call back later." Harumi quickly stood up and searched for the remote control before running to the guest room where Grandma Hanada was resting.
*Knock, knock* "Chairwoman, this is Harumi!" At once she opened the door and went inside.
Grandma Hanada was jolted awake when she heard Harumi’s knock. She slowly opened her eyes and peered at Harumi while she was getting near.
"What happened? Did my rascal grandson arrive? Co and help stand up so that I can hit that kid," Grandma Hanada mumbled while yawning.
"No, Chairwoman. Sir Jones is not here yet. Actually, Butler Ruffy called to let know-" Harumi had not finished speaking before the Chairwoman answered imdiately.
"What! Ashley already gave birth? Is it a boy or a girl?" Grandma Hanada’s drowsiness suddenly faded because of excitent.
"N-n-no, Chairwoman..." Harumi said while stuttering in response.
"What the heck? Spit it out!" Grandma Hanada hissed while frowning and obviously irritated.
"Ah... you see... Here’s the thing, ma’am Ashley is currently in the operating room and is going to get a cesarean. Butler Ruffy wanted to inform you about this. That’s all he said."
The Chairwoman’s mood suddenly changed when she heard that Ashley was in the operating room. She forced herself to stand up and Harumi saw it, so she helped her.
"Help get dressed, then tell the driver to get the car ready and we’ll go to the hospital, right now." Grandma Hanada was trembling while she was preparing to leave.
Fortunately, Harumi did not change into house clothes because she was waiting for Tanaga to co ho. She did not need to get dressed.
Harumi first called the bodyguard-driver before she helped the Chairwoman to change and prepare. When she finished helping the chairwoman, she excused herself and ran towards her room to fix herself.
A few minutes had passed before they were exiting the condo. When Harumi opened the door, they were shocked when they saw a car parked in front. Harumi signaled the bodyguard to co near them.
"Yes ma’am?" the bodyguard asked.
"Whose car is this and why did you let it be parked there?" Harumi asked seriously while her forehead was creasing.
"It’s the service of CEO Go. It brought back Sir Jones and he is sleeping inside... drunk," the bodyguard answered while looking straight at Harumi and the Chairwoman.
"What! What happened to... that... that idiot even got drunk. Gosh! Co on we need to see what’s going on with Ashley!" Grandma Hanada exclaid to Harumi and her bodyguard.
When Jeff’s bodyguard saw that they were approaching Grandma Hanada, he quickly ca out to pay his respects.
"Good evening, Chairwoman." At the sa ti, he bowed in honor of the elder.
"Hmph, what a wonderful night!" At the sa ti, she turned to his driver-bodyguard.
"Help them to carry that rascal inside. I might even kill him." Then she walked straight into the car without even checking to see if Tanaga was fine.
Harumi helped Grandma Hanada to get in the car before she sat in the front and waited for their driver-bodyguard to arrive so they could leave.
"Harumi, remind that I have to hit my grandson. He has ti to drink yet his mory didn’t even co back fully!" Grandma Hanada shouted while massaging her temples. She was getting high blood pressure because of stress.

Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the hospital. They caught up with Ashley’s family with Inday, Tiny, two other bodyguards, and Butler Ruffy, who sat quietly and waited for the results.
When Butler Ruffy saw Grandma Hanada, he approached her and helped her until she sat down.
"What’s the news? How are the mother and daughter? When was she admitted to the operating room?" Grandma Hanada asked as tears welled up in her eyes.
Butler Ruffy was trembling when he answered. Sadness was drawn in his face and his eyes were red. "It’s been a while Chairwoman. Almost an hour, but the doctor still hasn’t co out."
"I wish nothing bad will happen to Ashley and her child..." Butler Ruffy whispered while he made sure no one could hear their conversation.
"Let’s just hope we can’t do anything to help her. The pain she’s feeling right now is priceless. I swear to God to just make sure Ashley will give birth properly and the child will be healthy! A girl or a boy – the child will be the successor of my wealth. Even their stupid father will not even get a cent!" Grandma Hanada promised herself while tears were falling from her eyes.
Butler Ruffy beca speechless at what he heard. He was afraid of what Grandma Hanada would do. What if Tanaga used the contract and got the child? What would happen to Ashley?
Butler Ruffy was quietly thinking of a way to help Ashley and Tanaga not to be separated no matter what happened.
That is if Ashley can survive the brink of death.
