An hour later, Tanaga walked into the shop, looking like a GQ model. All of the won working in the shop dropped their jaws when they saw him.

’Gosh, he is so perfect he could pass for Adonis. No wonder Kazuma envied this woman. Not only is he freaking rich but incredibly handso to boot.’ One of the won sighed to herself.

"Is my wife ready? The Embassy is going to close soon. Where is she?" Tanaga barked with an expression on his face that can’t be described.

His loud voice startled the employees. They murmured in disgust instead of replying to him.

’Adonis? Maybe not.’ The female shopworker corrected herself. ’On second thought, I think my husband is more handso than he is.’

’Mr. Jones might have an angel’s face, but he acts more like a demon. I feel sorry for Ashley.’ Another worker thought to herself.

Disapproving of his attitude, all of the employees were trying to avoid him, and Tanaga noticed. He was infuriated. Just as he opened his mouth to yell at them again, Ishito walked in with a massive smile on his face.

"Mr. Jones! Mada is ready." Ishio said as he pulled back the curtain, stepping aside for Ashley.

Tanaga’s expression changed, suddenly looking like a young man in love. He watched as Ashley walked out, shining like a bright star bringing light to his gloomy, dim life. She wore an embroidered knee-length dress that was cream in color. The V-neckline was see-through, showing just a hint of cleavage, but not indecent in any way.

She had seen an ordinary dress with simple designs when she chose it. But Tanaga saw a well-fitting dress that showed off her sexy curves. It hugged her lovely, round rear and slim waist, showcasing her perfect hour-glass shape.

She was bewitching, but not in an obscene way. She looked like a photoshopped magazine photo. But the beauty that shone in Ashley was natural, unlike magazine models whose beauty was computer generated.

Everyone in the shop saw how captivating she was. Tanaga saw more; he was looking at the woman of his dreams. He had searched for years for this elusive girl to beco his wife. He was dumbstruck, entirely chard by Ashley. His satisfaction was evident in his expression.

Tanaga was suddenly aware of her lustrous brown eyes staring at him, waiting for him to give his opinion. Inside, Ashley was hoping to at least hear a complint. He was about to praise her as everyone waited in anticipation when Ishito foolishly spoke out.

"Sir, what do you think? Did we produce a miracle?" Ishito asked, sounding proud. He was eager to receive Tanaga’s comndation, hoping it would earn him the managerial position this ti.

In truth, Ishito knew that calling what they’d done a miracle was a lie. They’d done nothing close to that. Ashley was already pretty. It had simply been hidden under her shabby clothes, simple make-up, and an unflattering hairstyle.

They’d had no difficulty giving their boss’s future wife a makeover.

Ishito’s words hit Tanaga like ice water, extinguishing the beautiful image he had in his mind. Suddenly he doubted his perception, thinking to himself, He’s right. I’m only seeing the results of the skill of my employees. I’m not seeing the real Ashley. Sighing to himself, he asked himself who he should be praising.

"Well, yes. And it’s a good thing you pulled off a miracle. I don’t want to be embarrassed while we’re together," Tanaga said seriously.

Now it was the employees who felt like they’d been doused with ice water. After all of the passion they had put into helping Ashley, they were to receive praise. Instead, they’d been insulted.

No one was feeling the sting of his words worse than Ashley. It was a blatant insult directed at her. His statent cut her like a knife. She felt like an old rag that soone had cleaned up and decorated with so expensive pieces of jewelry, but still an old rag. At least in Tanaga’s eyes.

Budding tears were building on her eyelids, ready to fall at any mont. She looked away, using a tissue to remove the evidence of the pain she felt. Tanaga didn’t notice the tears, but Ishito and shopworkers did. Seeing the hurt Tanaga caused her to made their blood boil.

Ashley gathered her courage, held her chin high, and walked as confidently as a model closer to Tanaga. "Sir, if I’ve passed your inspection, then let’s go and finish this foolishness." She walked ahead of him, intentionally shaking her hips to show off her beautiful backside.

Tanaga realized her anger at him for his words, so he hurried to help her into the car. Ashley, still angry, wanted to retaliate.

Tanaga’s hand was on Ashley’s arm as he prepared to help her into the car. She slowly pulled his hand away, "I’m not a cripple. I don’t need your assistance, thank you." [Haha, way to go, girl!]
