When the household help finished chatting, one by one, they all went back to their designated jobs with a smile on their faces. Everyone was praying and hoping that the couple would get back together, and Ashley would return living with them in the mansion.
All of the household help was concerned that if Ashley would not agree to co back. The ex-girlfriend might find her way in the house, and she has the most poisonous character. If that ever happens, all of them would get hacked to pieces. Now that Ashley had yielded, they would all do everything in their power to help their boss to keep her and not let her go back to grandmother Hanada ho.
The butler asked the chef to made exceptional als for the couple. They know that once they achieved whatever they were doing... They would be hungry and would need a strength booster. Therefore, varieties of food that could help heighten their enthusiasm and give them the power to continue... He made sure that everything was on the table.
The butler reviewed all the als that the chef prepared one by one. He wanted to make sure that it’s all completed and prepared. There were balut and oyster, among other things. Once he was confident that nothing was missing, he then decided to relax a little. While he was sitting unwinding, a thought ca to his mind... He called Ashley’s father... Jessie, who had beco the sworn brother of butler Ruffy.
A mont later, Jessie answers the faceti. "Brother! How are you? Butler Ruffy greeted Jessie while beaming from ear to ear. This was due to Ashley coming back ho and lingering for good.
Father Jessie was sitting in front of his clinic, playing chess with a neighbor. "Brother, excuse ! It’s a friend from Japan, where my baby girl is currently working. Let take this call, alright?!" Said father Jessie while his hand was covering the speaker of his phone. He quickly went inside his clinic so he could continue his conversation with butler Ruffy.
"Brother Ruffy! What’s up? So’ you made it back to Japan? Did you see my little girl yet? How is she?" He bombarded him with a question without taking a breather due to his excitent.
"Hahaha! Brother’, slow down... You sounded like a machine gun in a cold war." Ruffy humorously told him with a big grin on his face. "Yes! We t when I went to the office to make my report to the boss." He lied straight face to his newfound friend.
"Oh’ really! I’m glad that you saw her already. You know, my wife and the children all warned not to bother Ashley. They told that she would contact us when she gets the chance. But, you know how much I’m missing her already. Brother Ruffy... Do a favor, please! Next ti you see her... Tell her to sneak a call to this older man. As you know, I’m not allowed to, or I would be in the dog house if I called my baby girl. Hahaha!"
"Alright! Alright! That’s not a big deal, first thing tomorrow I would go to the office and when i do see her. I will remind her to call you. Don’t worry, alright!" Ruffy promised Jessie in which had made his day, and it shows on his old aged but still handso face.
Then the two continued their conversation as if they had not seen each other for ages... They talked about everything and nothing.
After an hour or so, they didn’t realize that they had been talking for a while already. Suddenly a knock was heard on father Jessie’s door. It was the neighbor that he left alone for a while bidding him goodbye. " Jess, I’ll be going already. It seems your going to be a while, let go ho, for now, I’ll see you later!" The neighbor wave and left with a sad-looking face.
Ruffy had a big grin on his face when he walked out of his room. He was still thinking of his discussion with Jessi when he ran across Ashley. She was tip-toe-ing while bearing her shoes in one hand, trying her best not to make noise. From the way, she was walking without her shoes on... Ruffy could tell she was about to creep out of the house.
Ruffy’s countenance wrinkled, and he was about to say sothing when Ashley swiftly ca over and covered his mouth with her hand to stop him. "Shh! Don’t make any noise; you don’t want to arouse Tanaga. I couldn’t bid him goodbye, as you know that he would never let leave. Please, Uncle Ruffy, please!!!" She whispered with a sad-looking face.
Ruffy bobbed his head up and down to let her know he understands so she would take away her hand that was covering his mouth. Ashley slowly removes her hand once she saw that he agreed.
"Please, uncle Ruffy... Let go back to grandmother Hanada for a while. You see... It’s difficult for !" She said while unable to look him in his eyes. It was arduous for her to tell him how she feels at the mont.
Ruffy just stood there stared at Ashley while in deep thought. When he didn’t say a word, Ashley quickly put on her shoes so she could leave before he changes his mind and awakens Tanaga.
"Alright! I will montarily let you go back to madam Hahada’s ho. I understand where you were coming from and what you’re trying to say... Don’t fuss; I’m with you on this one. Nevertheless, only for one week. After a week, you must co ho or else..." He said while shaking his head, feeling uncomfortable with what he was about to do.
"Child, rember one thing, and if nothing else, think about why you are here. First, you’re now married, and if the immigration cos here and finds out that you’re not here, that would be a big ss. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?" Asked Ruffy while breaking his heart for the girl.
Ruffy had promised to Ashley’s family that he would take care of her, and he plans on doing just that. He would never let Tanaga use the girl for any purposes. He wanted the two to stay married and hopefully fall in love with each other. He needs to push them a little more, and for sure, Tanaga would never let her go back to the Philippines no matter what happened in the future.
"Do you need a ride, or did you call soone already?" Asked Ruffy while he was walking her out to the door.
"Thanks! But, I already called Tiny, and he’s already outside waiting for . He just texted that whenever I’m ready, we could leave." Ashley’s voice was about to crack as she spoke.
Ruffy stopped for a mont before they reached the threshold. "Child, rember this... You know that you don’t need to go, right? Think of your husband, don’t you feel sorry for him? Didn’t you realize that he plotted the whole thing so that he could get you to co back ho to his side? Do you understand what that ans?" He asked while he was staring at her eyes, trying to read her thoughts.
However, Ashley was imdiate to look away, making sure that Ruffy wouldn’t be able to tell how she feels. The truth is, she doesn’t want to leave. Unfortunately, she’s not so sure how she truly feels about Tanaga, and she needed a distance trying to figure it out.
"Don’t worry, uncle Ruffy. I will not stay for a long ti at grandmother Hanada. Just give one week, just like I went ho for vacation. Hahaha! I just started working, and I’m already asking for a vacation." She jokingly said to the older man trying to lighten up the mood. She then quickly opened the door and stepped out before she changes her mind.
She waved as she walked towards where the vehicle is waiting. "Bye, uncle Ruffy! Please, make sure to take care of him. See you in a week, I hope!" She added at the end of her sentence, unsure of what would the outco be once Tanaga wakes up and finds out that she had left.
Tiny greeted Ashley as she cos closer to the car. "Good evening, ma’am Ashley!" Then bowed as a sign of respect to his lade boss.
"Brother Tiny, can you please not call ma’am when it’s only us? I’m not comfortable when you that... Please! Just call Ashley." She pleaded as she stepped inside the car.
Tiny didn’t reply to her request; instead, he scratches his head and secretly smiled to himself. ’This kid is sothing else... She’s so down to earth and very respectful. How I wish that they would get together already and live a happy life..." He thought as he entered the driver seat and drove off...
