Ashley was shaking as she ca closer to the door so she could hit the thief that was coming in. The door slowly opened at. First, she then saw what it seed to be a person’s head that was about to peek, then the door suddenly slams wide open.
She raised her arms while holding the baseball bat with her two hands. She then closed her eyes and made a sign of a cross before she was about to hit the thief on his/her head.
She began counting in her head, ’One, two, three!’ Then ready to swing the baseball bat, when she suddenly heard a man shouted out loud. It was so loud that it could wake up the dead.
"STOP!!! Ashley!!! It is I, your husband!!!" Tanaga exclaid loudly, then quickly went inside the room and hugged his wife as tight as he could.
"Woman, what are you trying to do, kill ?" Tanaga whispered to Ashley, who’s still shaking from being scared wits. He slowly removes the baseball from Ashley’s tight hold.
Ashley was stunned by how quickly everything was happening. She stood like a log and unable to move. She slowly opened the left eye, then the right eye... Once she had all her eyes wide open, she peeked at Tanaga first, making sure that it’s him that’s currently embracing her.
Once she was sure that it was him, she then felt relief and able to breathe. She let go of the baseball bat that she was holding and planning on using. She then began hitting Tanaga on his chest.
"You’re the stupid one! You know that I’m here by myself, why would you co in like a thief. What do you think would co to my mind?" Ashley was screaming at the top of her lungs while she’s shooting dagger to her husband.
"Sweetheart! Didn’t you think that you have bodyguards outside? How in the world a thief would be able to co inside if they are guarding your door. Even downstairs at the door, they have a security guard too. You are too paranoid." Said Tanaga with disbelief.
While Tanaga was scolding Ashley, he suddenly realizes that she just finished taking a shower, and she slls so good. Therefore, he didn’t think twice and lifted her before taking her straight to their massive bed.
Ashley tries to wiggle out of Tanaga’s embrace. "Put down! Hey, co on! Put down!!! Why are you acting like a maniac? Every ti you see naked, there’s only one thing in your mind. Is that all I am to you?" While she was hitting him in his chest.
"Excuse ? Why, don’t I have the right to be a maniac when it cos to you? What?! What Tanaga was thinking was, it’s because they are now married. It’s his right as her husband to want to sleep with her whenever he sees her butt naked.
Unfortunately, that didn’t sound right in Ashley’s hearing. What she thought Tanaga ant was it’s because of the contract they had signed. Therefore, whenever he wants it, and no matter what ti of the day it is, she should comply. That didn’t bode well with Ashley at all. The contour of her face suddenly changed sour, and she pushed Tanaga away from her.
"Wait a minute, wait a damn minute! We need to have a heart to heart talk. Don’t think just because we have a contract that I should just spread my leg open whenever you want. You need to consider my feelings too, what do you think of ? A piece of..." She didn’t finish what she’s about to say, for she’s about to have a world war III with the Japanese man.
Tanaga was stunned by Ashley’s outburst. He suddenly began thinking, ’she does have a point in there. But, it’s not my fault that whenever I’m close with her, this little man of mine always stands up tall and proud. I wonder why? With another woman, they had to work hard to give a hard-on, but with her... Hmmm?’
"I’m Sorry! Alright!" He then got up and sat down on the top of the bed like a little child pouting. "So,’ what do you want us to talk about? I’m all ears... Tell ?!" While he’s still sour about the whole thing.
When Ashley heard the way Tanaga spoke a while ago, she couldn’t help herself and look at him straight in the face. When she saw how sour puss he still looks, she now has a dilemma. How she was going to tell him that she was planning on staying with Grandmother Hanada’s mansion while they are waiting for the result of her pregnancy.
After a while, she found the courage and finally told him.
"I had decided that while we were waiting for the outco whether we had created life or not, I was going to ask if I could stay with your grandmother Hanada for a while. That’s if it’s alright with you?" She asked with her voice barely audible as she spoke.
Tanaga suddenly looks at Ashley while he is unable to think of a word to say. He continued to stare at her without saying anything, and he tried to comprehend what Ashley ant by wanting to stay with his grandmother.
But, no matter how hard he worked to tell his mind, nothing was sinking in his brain. It doesn’t want to register at all.
When he finally spoke, his tone of voice was a little louder than usual. "So’ what you’re trying to say is that you want to move to grandma while we are waiting for the result. And why is that? Is it because every ti I get near you, I want to be with you?
"Well, let’s put it this way... If you don’t want to touch you, then I won’t! I will not force you to do sothing you don’t want too. Lastly, if you’re going to go to my grandmother’s house, go ahead! It’s better for , for no one would bother any longer!" He then quickly got up after his outburst and left the room while he slamd the door on Ashley.
Ashley was speechless and didn’t know what to say or think. However, in the long run, she decided to accept grandmother Hanada’s offer. She would temporarily stay with her while they were waiting for the result.

Grandmother Hanada was stunned to hear from Ashley. She wasn’t expecting her to be the one calling her. " Grandma Hanada, If that offer is still open, I’m kind of hoping it is, for I decided to accept it," Ashley told the old lady who’s still in shock. However, she quickly recovered and did her best to sound cheery.
"Of course! But, child, can I ask you sothing? Why did you suddenly change your mind? Is it because of Ohani? Don’t worry about that girl, and she’s nothing to Tanaga. What they had was in the past, and that’s where it would stay. Alright!" Granma Hanada advice Ashley.
"The truth is, I understand that grandma. That was not the reason why I decided and changed my mind. I only needed so ti to be away from Sir Jones for a while. That’s all!" Answered Ashley with sadness in her voice.
Grandma Hanada’s eyebrows suddenly rose when she heard Ashley calling Tanaga Sir, Jones. She needs to do sothing about the situation. She was suddenly afraid that one day, she would find out Ashley already went back to the Philippines. When that happens, they would be in big trouble.
She was still in deep thought when Ashley bid her goodbye. "See you later!" She said and hung up.
